A Great Change: Rising Above Powerless Humanity [Closed]

London England.  A place where everyone has funny accents, and they eat biscuits!  It was a field trip.  Minami, as well as others, were sent to visit a famous city.  To learn about culture or some crap like that.  Minami didn't care, what she wanted was FOOOOOOD!  They were placed into small groups and sent to tour the city.  It was a typical boring tour.  They walked, someone droned on and on about things no one cared about, and walked right past the interesting places.  They weren't even able to stop for food.  Minami had seriously hoped to be put in the same group as Kirino, but she was, of COURSE, put in the group on the opposite side of the city.  This went on for hours and hours.  Eventually though, the students were permitted to roam as they pleased, as long as they made it in time to leave.  Minami's first action was to go straight to some stores.  She bought all kinds of foods, and of course at them as she walked.  She was walking all day, she was hungry.  Currently the tiny powerless human was walking down the street, nibbling on a cookie.  She loved cookies.  Minami actually was hoping to run into Kirino, maybe she'd call her up on her cell.  However, Minami did not notice the strange man who had been following her.  She walked through the streets of London, thankfully she could speak to the people since her private tutor taught her English long ago.  Still, it was getting a little late and the streets were thinning out.  Minami decided to head down some of the less populated roads.  She knew which way she came from, so she knew where to go.  Still, now there was no one else on the road.  "Let me drink your blood."  A creepy voice came from behind, startling Minami and making her drop her cookie.  "Wh-wha..."  Minami turned, a little fear in her eyes.  "Let me drink your blood."  Minami was actually frightened now.  "Wh...n-no!"  Minami didn't have a chance to turn and run when the creepy man suddenly came before her and punched her in the gut.  "I SAID LET ME DRINK IT."  The next actions were quick.  Minami was utterly pummeled.  She was punched in the face, gut, clawed in the arms with some kind of claws.  Her new clothes ended up torn, and she was bleeding.  The entire time, tears filled her eyes.  She begged for him to stop, she cried for help, but nothing came.  Eventually though he stopped.  "You should have let me drink!"  He backed off for a moment cackling.  Minami could stand up though, she wasn't completely pummeled to where she couldn't run.  Minami dashed off while the insane man laughed, pulling out her cellphone and dialing Kirino's number.  The moment the phone is picked up, Minami would cry out.  "Kirino!  H-help me!"  How Minami could still move was a mystery, but she was running, but the insane man was following behind.  Who was he?  Why did he say he wanted her blood?  Either way in her panic she didn't give Kirino her location.  All she wanted was to get out of here.

Kirino Aozaki, a young woman with little to no interest when it comes to English culture. The longest amount of time these tours were able to catch her attention was the five minutes mention of the location and prices of food within the market. After food was no longer a subject within her tour group, she was bored. They all walked aimlessly through the city, being taught about architecture and... yeah, Kirino didn't even catch that. Her mind trailed off to her training regimen and then back to the idea of food. Hours passed before they were allowed to leave on their own and not be lead by the teachers that obviously hated their jobs. The sun was starting to set as it got later into the day and Kirino was freely walking through the city, and she was lost. "God damn it..." she muttered under her breath as she attempted to find the way back to the hotel. She wandered up and down the streets to find something familiar until she realized she was actually walking in circles. Highly irritated by her horrible sense of direction, she went to punch a wall when... Ring, ring, ring.... ring, ring, ring... "Hm?" Kirino pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and flipped it open, "Hel-" On the other end of the line was Minami and the first thing she did was call out for Kirino's help. Kirino did not hesitated to release the link on the patch and, similar to a low jack, Kirino could sense exactly where it was. "You're not too far away, when you get a chance turn left and keep running in that direction." Kirino told her in a hurry as she began running in the direction that Minami was in. Just a street over was more secluded area and from what she could tell Minami was somewhere around there. "Don't hang up the phone!" Kirino told her as she darted across the street. Luckily there was no cars coming because Kirino was not exactly paying attention to anything that wasn't Minami and her location.

Kirino had answered, and Minami gave her no chance to really answer when she cried for help.  Kirino immediately responded on her distance and which direction to go.  Minami would have questioned how Kirino knew where she was, but she was too scared to think about it.  She turned left the first turn she came across which wasn't very far ahead of her.  Kirino promised to protect her, Kirino wouldn't lead her in the wrong direction, right?  In her mind, the only thing that she could think about was when she was in Kirino's arms days ago.  She had never felt so safe as she did then, and she wanted that comfort again.  Yet here she was, running for her life from some maniac.  "I won't hang up...just please...help..."  She said desperately into her phone.  She didn't look back to the man, but he was running at equal speed to her...no, he was going slightly slower.  He should have been able to outrun her...something was off.  She ran for awhile, occasionally hearing the man's insane mumbling.  "Hurry!  I don't know how much longer I can run!"  She ran for a few minutes, when his voice was no longer there.  Minami turned around to look.  He was gone...just gone.  Minami took deep breaths, blood dripping from her injuries.  Still something wasn't right.



"It's about time you stopped running."  The voice came from the direction she had been running.  Turning back around, he was there.  "You ran pretty far...despite how badly you've been beaten."  Minami started backing away, almost paralyzed with fear.  How did he get in front of her?  The man licked his lips.  "I think it is about time I stopped my meal from running."  "P-please!  Leave me alone!"  Minami cried desperately, tears in her eyes.  "You're going to taste so good.  Hahahaha, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"  Minami tried to turn to run but she ended up tripping.  She was crying really loudly at this point.  "Kirino...I...I have to tell you...I..."  The insane asylum escapee didn't let Minami finish whatever she was going to say though, as he burst forward.  Energy formed in his hand.  As he came up, he went to unleash a point blank explosion of blunt force energy on Minami, attempting to crush her body enough to immobilize her, which would kill her on-hit.  Minami closed her eyes...and...

She was getting closer. From what she could tell Minami had done exactly as she asked. Kirino kept the phone to her ear, listening to the frightened young woman. They were too far away for Kirino to be able to help her at the moment. "I'm on my way! Don't stop running!" Kirino said into the phone as she moved into a full on sprint. With the way Kirino was coming, she should turn a corner and Minami would be right there. Running for a while, Kirino noticed that Minami went quite for a moment and got worried. She listened closely and began to hear some other voice, one she did not recognize. Hearing Minami plead with this man, Kirino narrowed her eyes and began shooting her reishi through her body at a rapid rate, which instantly sped her body up to unheard of speeds. "Kirino, I have to tell you... I..." she heard Minami say. Kirino hurried as she listened in more and realized then that Minami was just around the corner. As Kirino came around the corner, she saw Minami on the floor and this man behind her. Kirino did not hesitate to move forward and flashed in front of the man as he went to strike Minami. She had no defenses up and was hit full on by this spell of his, but she did halt her reishi to instantly harden her muscles at the point of impact. She felt his energy pushing into her body, but she did her best to hold her ground. Kirino felt her body being pushed back by his spell before she held her hand out and instantly formed one of her katana's, the blade piercing his left shoulder. The spell was released and Kirino fell back over Minami in a protective stance. She wrapped an arm around Minami, her eyes widening as she saw the amount of damage that Minami had just taken. The man yelled at her, attempting another attack, but Kirino moved herself and Minami out of the way in time. After she did this, she swung her right foot around and slammed it into the side of the man's head. "KEEP AWAY FROM HER!" Kirino yelled in anger as the man was sent flying into the side of a building. Kirino then pulled Minami in close and held her in the manner she had done before, like one would a princess. There was no time for this. Minami was injured and needed taking care of. She had to get her somewhere safe as soon as possible.... As the man recovered, Kirino reluctantly turned and ran with Minami in her arms.


Little did the two fleeing know, they were being watched... Lilith Antonovich, the founder and Queen of the Sōnansha race was in the city of London. Journeying along the roofs of the neighborhood, she was hunting someone down. It was a man, a Rogue Sōnansha that had been responsible for the turning of children and the killing of humans and his own kind. This man did have a decent amount of skill, but his control was horrible. He refused to register and get help. He was constantly on the run and now Lilith herself had to take him out. Three, two, one... found. Lilith landed on top of a roof about five stories up just in time to see a young dark haired woman jump in front of an attack to save another. Lilith noticed the one on the ground was injured rather badly and instantly felt her heart sink. "I should have been here sooner..." she told herself as she lowered her head in shame. She was going to interfere, but the dark haired girl was able to get away. Unfortunately, they were chased immediately after words. Lilith began following after the three, waiting for the exact moment to get in.

She thought she was going to die...and then suddenly she saw Kirino in front of her.  Kirino had saved her again...but...  "KIRINO!"  Kirino had taken the blunt of the attack for Minami.  She somehow withstood it, and even managed to summon a Katana and stab him through the shoulder.  Kirino then went over Minami in order to protect her.  Her arm came around Minami.  "Kirino...you came."  Was all she said before the man tried something else.  However, Kirino took Minami and pulled her out of the way before roundhouse kicking him in the face.  With that done, Kirino once more took Minami in her arms and, this time, she ran.  As Kirino ran, the man gave chase.  Minami's hands gripped Kirino's shirt, she was scared, but Kirino being there gave her at least some semblance of comfort.  Kirino was so strong, she took the man's attack head on and still seemed fine.  This girl was strong, powerful, and beautiful.  She admired her...but felt bad.  Kirino has to do all of this to protect her.  However, things were not exactly going well.  The man charged up the energy in his hand again, and this time slammed into the ground.  This caused the ground to shake, and while Kirino was likely to be able to keep running, Minami didn't expect the sudden movements.  Upon feeling them, some of her muscles moved in an attempt to remain steady, but instead sent her out of Kirino's arms.  Minami tumbled onto the pavement, but she rolled so she didn't really worsen her injuries.  "I've got you now!"  The man said, but in her desperation, Minami rolled to the side and dodged him trying to stab her with his claw-like finger nails.  Minami struggled to her feet.  "Kirino...do you think you..."  She stopped for a moment and coughed before continuing.  "...beat him?  Don't worry, I'm fine for now...but I don't think we can outrun him."  Minami was well aware the current scenario was not optimal for her escape.  It would take too much for Kirino to pick her back up, the best shot Minami had was if Kirino turned and fought.  Of course...if it was either Kirino, or her dying...despite her fears of death, she'd rather have Kirino be the one who lived.  While Kirino did whatever she did, and the man prepared himself once more, Minami carefully positioned herself around a few loose objects.  Hopefully if he came for her, she could slow him down by tossing things like trashcans and mail boxes in his way. "Kirino, kick his ass. Please don't get hurt." Minami said with an immense amount of worry in her voice. She did not want Kirino getting too hurt from this.

"Kirino, you came." Minami said. "Of course I did." Kirino said as she pulled Minami and herself out of the way of the second attack that had been implemented. Kirino was going to run as long as she needed to. This man was chasing them and Kirino did not have to look back to tell. Kirino felt him charging another attack and sped up a bit so she'd have more time to dodge, but her assumption was wrong. He didn't attack them, but the ground below. Kirino stopped suddenly, kneeled down, and jumped. Having her Qi halted in her muscles, she was still enhanced in her strength, so she was able to leap high enough into the air to almost reach the top of a near by one story building. Holding tightly onto Minami with her left arm, she reached out in mid air and caught the edge of the building while this shock wave of energy moved through the streets. She didn't know what that would have done if she were caught in it, so she was not going to stay on the ground. Unfortunately, while she did this, Minami's tensing caused her to fly out of Kirino's arms and half-way through the jump she dropped. Feeling this happen, Kirino lost concentration out of fear for Minami, missed grabbing the edge of the building she was jumping to, and fell to the ground right passed Minami. She quickly moved to her feet and looked back to them to the man to see what he was doing. He went to stab Minami with his sharpened nails and Kirino's heart skipped a beat. Luckily Minami was able to move out of the way on time. Minami struggled to her feet as Kirino kept herself in a kneeled position to catch her breath. Kirino turned her eyes to this man and did not take her attention from him. Minami spoke to her as she moved behind objects for defense, but from what Kirino could tell this man was quite powerful. His skill wasn't up to par, but he was fast and sort of insane. Minami then told her to kick his ass, but not get hurt. It was too bad that already happened. She ignored it for Minami's sake, but that first hit that she took damaged the muscles in her torso pretty bad. It wasn't anything permanent, but damn did it hurt.

"Alright, just stay back." Kirino said as she stood up fully, her shirt being tied up revealing a badly bruised mark on her stomach. Kirino did not hesitate to charge this man, beginning to throw multiple punches his way. She didn't want him to get off that next energy attack. He kept countering and blocking. He was able to get two hits on Kirino, but she struck him seven times before he became irritated. He suddenly charged her, sending his nails towards Kirino's face. Kirino dodged by moving her head to the side and brought her right hand up to keep his hand from touching her. But there was a huge problem... The energy he gathered up in his hand had been moved to the tip of his nails and shot forth towards Minami in the form of four small bullet-like shots. "NO!" Kirino yelled as she went to step back, but doing this allowed the man to force her off balance. She was pushed to the floor and forced rather harshly to the ground. She did her best holding him off as she looked back to Minami with wide eyes to see what happened.

Kirino responded to Minami as if her showing up was obvious.  Of course it was, Kirino had promised she would show up.  Every single time Minami was in trouble, Kirino would come running.  She had saved her several times before, and she did it again.  As expected, Kirino jumped and avoided the shaking.  However, Minami's falling to the ground did cause Kirino to miss and fall to the ground.  Minami didn't notice though, as at this moment she was dodging the dirty fingernails of DOOOOOOOOM!  When she finally got into her defensive position, she could see Kirino was catching her breath.  Upon telling Kirino to kick his ass, she was told to stay put, and Kirino went to work.  This was when Minami noticed the bruise she raised her hand over her mouth and gasped.  She had taken a hit for Minami, and it definitely did not look good.  The fight initially seemed to be in Kirino's favor, with punches being thrown, and the landed punches being 5 in favor of Kirino.  However, it was here the man wanted to use his disgusting finger nails to impale Kirino's head.  As Minami saw it start to happen, her hand went BACK up to her mouth and she gasped again.  Kirino dodged, but it was no time for relief as suddenly bullet-like energy shot out from his finger.  



She blinked and...a sharp pain.  The world seemed to be moving in slow motion.  Minami didn't even have time to use what she had created as a defensive barrier.  She fell, gravity pulling her backwards.  Where the stinging pain was centered...there was a coldness...one that was slowly creeping across Minami's body.  Her small body fell back, colliding with the pavement.  Still in slow motion, as it struck, her body bounced back into the air, about two inches, before falling back onto the pavement once more.  Minami's head fell to one side.  She was not dead, at least not yet.  The bullets had all entered her body though.  These wounds...were fatal.  Minami Shimada, friendly to just about everyone, one of the sweetest girls you would ever meet, was about to die here."K-Kirino."  Minami said weakly, using what energy she did have to glance in Kirino's direction, to see how she was doing...and praying that neither of them was going to die in this fight.  She didn't want to die...but it didn't look good.  Normal medical procedures wouldn't be able to get to her in time.  She thought about her life, it flashed before her eyes, all while her eyes slowly and weakly opened and shut in a slow but rhythmic blinking.  Her fingers slowly uncurled from her clenched fist. She thought about her parents, her life, everything that she didn't get to do.  She thought about those she knew, from Violet to the random student she greeted.  Most of all though...she thought about Kirino.  A single tear went down her face.  Perhaps it was this moment that fate dictated, that this was her time to die.  Minami thought about her life...and everything seemed so...dreamlike.  Maybe this was why this happened.  After all...someday the dream must end.

Minami was hit and she was hit hard. While holding this man off of her, Kirino was forced to watch Minami get shot by the four bullet-like projectiles that were sent to her. She fell to the ground and Kirino's eyes widened in horror. With a quick burst of strength, she placed her foot against this man's stomach. "GET OFF OF ME!" she yelled and kicked him away as hard as possible. She was able to send the man flying back away from her a good ten feet, giving Kirino the chance to move. She rolled over onto all fours and began crawling back to Minami rather quickly. "Minam-..." she reached out for her, but froze when she felt something. Two things actually. The first was a new presence. The new person was overwhelmingly powerful. Kirino had never sensed something like this before. It was horrifying to know that something like that was near! And was it friendly or foe? If friendly, thank god. If foe? Kirino accepted death at that exact moment. The second that she noticed in that short blink of a moment was that the man went on the attack again. His insane lust for harming Minami was driving him. But in that moment, his target was no longer Minami. It was to get Kirino out of his was. So before Kirino could even make three steps towards Minami, he was right behind her once more. Kirino's head swung back around just in time so see that he was already standing and he was right behind her with another attack ready to go. Kirino saw that his nails had extended and was just now sending this strike towards the middle of her back. To put it simply... Kirino had no time and was about to be stabbed through the back...


A glimmer of hope for these two young women was standing on the roof right above them. Lilith had hoped the dark haired one had the strength to take down this man before she was forced to, but she was semi-wrong. It was obvious that after taking that first hit the girl was slowed down a bit. And since her mind wasn't on fighting, but on getting the other out, Lilith knew now that if she did not interfere, two innocent young girls would die tonight. Lilith ran off to the right just a bit and stopped, kneeling down, and then pushing herself up into the air over the three below her. She turned her body in mid air as she began descending down towards them to where she would now face the building she just jumped off of. Once that was done, she extended her right leg straight upwards. As she descended, once she got to the perfect point, Lilith swung her leg down at full forced to the back of the man's head. Upon making contact, the forced behind Lilith's strike sent the Sōnansha into the ground face first and was powerful enough that BOOM, a crater formed and spread through that small area, enough to reach and pass Kirino, but it did not touch Minami. In a swift motion, Lilith quickly shifted her foots position to the front of the Sōnansha's neck, between the floor and him. She brought her leg up, forcing him to fly up with it. Once in the air, she pivoted on her right foot and swung her left all the way around until it came full circle and slammed just as strongly into the chest of the Rogue Sonanasha. He went flying backwards at a speed that seemed unimaginable for people to travel and landed about three hundred feet away, though he was not dead. He was badly injured and knew exactly who had shown up. Lilith watched as he stood up and ran off like a coward, but he was no longer her concentration, at least for the moment. Now, she turned towards the two young women and darted towards them. As she passed Kirino, she lifted her up and brought her to Minami's side. Without hesitation, she grabbed onto Minami's shirt and ripped it open so she could fully see the damage. "My child... I am sorry I did not intervene sooner. I should have, but for no real reason hesitated to do so." a strong feminine voice spoke out to Minami and Kirino. Listening in, Lilith could already tell that Minami's body was starting to fail and glanced away with an angry look on her face. She took a deep breath and looked back to the two of them. "I regret to say that... you are going to die." Lilith said without any remorse and then looked to Kirino, "She is going to die. There is no normal way of keeping this child alive... but... there is something I can offer you if you do wish to live."

Minami could only weakly watch in horror.  There was literally nothing she could do.  Her arms were cold.  Her legs were cold.  Even the core of her body was slowly losing the warmth of life.  It wouldn't be long before the cold embrace reached up all the way to Minami's brain.  Her body literally could not be moved, save the ability to blink weakly and slowly turn her head.  She watched as Kirino pushed the man off of her.  She watched as Kirino actually crawled in an attempt to reach Minami.  Someone so powerful, actually crawling on all fours.  It was something that Minami didn't want to see, but was also happy.  Crawling on all fours wasn't really dignified, but Kirino was doing it to reach her.  It meant something...but Minami wished she didn't have to see it...Kirino shouldn't have to do it.  Minami's face showed what horror the weakened muscles could muster as she suddenly saw the man above Kirino.  He was about to kill her.  Yet...something happened.  As the man's claws were about to impale Kirino, some strange woman came flying down from the sky. Her perception was slowing down, and her vision wasn't functioning 100%, but she managed to see the man slammed into a giant crater, as well as being sent flying away, though the details were partially lost on her. With the man out of the way, this woman...an ally? Well, she grabbed Kirino and brought her to Minami. Minami turned her head up to watch this woman as she ripped open Minami's shirt. Destroyed. Minami's torso looked utterly destroyed. Wounds, holes, bruises, lacerations, all of it. Normally Minami would have been shocked and upset at her shirt being ripped open, exposing a little pink bra covering her tiny chest, which had a few rips, but still covered her breasts as it should. However, now was no time. She was dying and she knew it, that was NOT on her mind. The woman spoke to her, strong and feminine. "W-who...are...you." Minami's words were weak, and it was as if she was gasping for them. "K-Kirino...where is...Kirino." She said weakly. She wanted Kirino, and while Kirino was there, Minami's ability to look around was massively impaired. "It's...cold...it hurts..." The woman then spoke up once more, she was going to die. Minami's heart sank. This was where she was to fall. This was where her story was going to come to a close. She then began to speak to someone else. Kirino? There was no normal procedure she said, but directed back at Minami, and offered something if she wished to live. "I...I don't want...to die." A few more tears found their way down her cheeks. "I...want Kirino...where...is she? I don't want to die..." Minami gasped weakly. She didn't know what the woman meant, but death was not what Minami wanted.

Kirino had been completely caught off guard when this strange woman grabbed her. Was she an ally? She had just saved them both, but could she be trusted. For a moment, Kirino's mind was stuck on the white haired woman. "So... strong..." Kirino thought when the event that just played out repeated within her mind. A being that she had a hard time keeping up with, even if it was in this situation, was completely destroyed in a matter of moments because of this woman. The sudden ripping of Minami's shirt snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked back to her injured girl. The woman apologized for not getting there sooner? Why? She was the reason they were alive... at least for the moment. Kirino finally looked at the wounds and she felt her heart skip a beat and then speed up right after. She placed her own hand on her chest and kneeled over and a fetal position as she fought the tears that threatened to make themselves known. She felt her throat choke up as Minami spoke in this condition, asking the woman who she was. Minami then called for her and Kirino shot towards her and grabbed onto her hand. "So cold..." Kirino thought and gently held Minami's hand, "I'm here..." Minami didn't seem to hear her and mentioned the pain. Kirino closed her jaw tightly as a tear fell from her cheek. Kirino's body fell slightly weak when she heard the woman say that Minami was going to die. "Can we do anything?" Kirino asked in a seriously desperate tone, but the woman went on to say that no normal way could save her. Kirino began to lean farther forward over Minami and was about to place her forehead on the injured girls, but was stopped. The woman said she could offer something. "What is it?" she asked, but Minami said she didn't want to die.

Lilith watched these two with a heavy heart. The damage that had been done was horrible. From what she could tell, this young woman that was horribly injured was weak when it comes to spiritual aspects. Lilith wondered if she could even see the spiritual, but doubted it. To be lost in so much of life and then be taken down at such a young age, Lilith hated it. Even with this situation, she kept calm while speaking to them. "I can offer her life, but there are many consequences of what I can do..." Lilith spoke up again as she took Minami's hand in her own, opposite of the one Kirino held. Minami said she did not want to die. "The life I offer isn't always for everyone... Are you sure you wish to li-..." Lilith was interrupted when Minami spoke once more. This scene was breaking her own heart. She was unsure of whether she should turn the young girl or not. She was young, but of age to turn. She had never dealt with power, spiritual or other wise. Could she handle this? Something in Lilith's mind was telling her to walk away, but then...

"Help her..." Kirino said in a demanding manner upon seeing the doubt in this white haired woman's eyes.

"Do you think she can handle it?" Lilith asked, not even looking towards Kirino, but keeping her eyes on Minami.

"She can handle anything you fucking throw at her!" Kirino said in anger, "NOW DO AS YOU OFFERED HER! DO NOT SIT THERE AND LET SOMEONE LIKE HER DIE! SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS BULLSHIT!"

"If you're sure..." Lilith said and took a deep breath, "but this is a massive chan-..."

"HELP HER!" Kirino screamed at the top of her lungs, her voice echoing through the calm city as the white haired woman suddenly changed in front of them. Her hair began to float as if air were blowing it up and her fangs grew right in front of them. A short moment later, the woman leaned down over Minami and bit into her neck. Kirino watched in horror, unsure whether she had pushed this woman into doing the right thing.

Lilith knew this would cause Minami pain, a lot of it. During the bite, it is likely that someone's body would convulse and the muscles would contract. She wouldn't be shocked if the young woman screamed either. It'd last for only ten seconds and Lilith pulled back. "The change will happen over night, maybe even longer. It's different from Sōnansha to Sōnansha... Get her into room four zero four in that building up there. The owners will ask no questions." Lilith said as she pulled a key out and held it out to Kirino. "I'll be there soon... Hold onto her.. If she is unable to fall unconscious... her body will undergo immense pain until it's done..." Lilith stood up and turned away as she wiped blood from her mouth, "I have someone I need to take care of." And like that, Lilith darted off in the direction that their attacker had been kicked and then fled... Kirino turned to Minami and picked her up in the manner of a princess. She had calmed down a bit, though was still curious as to what happened. She did as the white haired woman instructed and began carrying Minami towards the building that the woman pointed out, holding tightly onto the injured girl.

Minami could barely feel the touch on her hands.  Yet she knew something was there.  "K-Kirino..."  She repeated once more as she tightened her hand on Kirino's as best she could.  She was gripping with all her might, yet there was almost no force.  Still, her tiny fingers managed to curl around Kirino's hand...at this point the only warmth she could feel was that of Kirino's hand.  Her entire body had become cold.  She could hear it, but barely.  This woman's explanations of consequences.  Minami interrupted her several times, but not on purpose.  Almost as if in a daze.  Her other hand now had a warmth...but all her strength was going into gripping the hand Kirino had taken.  The rest of the conversation she could not really hear.  Words were being spoken, but she couldn't make them out.  Then...she heard Kirino's voice.  It sounded loud...angry...but it was her voice.  The woman was also speaking, but her voice, still calm, was too quiet to hear.  On the inside, a small part of Minami was smiling, happy to be able to hear how much Kirino cared.  Minami watched though, as she saw the white haired woman with her severely limited vision, which had regressed into tunnel vision.  She saw the woman, her white hair, and fangs.  Minami though...accepted whatever was coming her way.  Even while on the verge of death, Kirino's presence gave Minami a sense of peace.  

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her neck.  It was immense...and yet warm.  She felt something...it was flowing into her body.  Suddenly she had a little bit of strength in her body, likely a result of the energy that was being forced into her.  Immediately her grip on Kirino's hand tightened.  It was firm now, not weak and limp.  Her eyes shot open wide and her mouth opened wide and she gasped in pain.  Moments later, Minami suddenly began to cry out in pain.  She used all of her will to keep her hand gripped onto Kirino's, but many of her other limbs and muscles were convulsing.  This went on for the last 8 seconds, before the woman ended the bite.  Minami's muscles calmed as the bite ended.  The screaming died down, and for the moment, so did the pain.  Minami was breathing heavily after her body's freak out.  She wasn't paying any attention to what Lilith told Kirino.  Before she knew it, Kirino was lifting her into the air, carried like a princess.  Minami opened her eyes...and she saw Kirino.  Her vision was still restricted, but this was definitely Kirino.  This was her body...strong yet gentle, this was the feeling she was growing accustomed to more and more.  "K-Kirino..."  Minami said as she nuzzled herself into Kirino's warmth as best she could.  "Th-th...ank you."  She managed finally say it.  "It hurts...it hurts..."  A pain was beginning to spread through Minami's body once more.  Suddenly she cried out in pain.  "It hurts!  It hurts!"  She cried.  "Kirino!"  She called out Kirino's name once more.  Minami kept her body as still as she could, but she was now shaking.  She did her best to stay nuzzled in Kirino's warmth...but it hurt.  "The pain...it feels strange...Kirino!  I...I don't want to die."  She cried out once more, but then her voice quieted down to a near whisper.  "Please...don't leave me alone...I don't wanna be alone anymore..."  She said, trying her best to fight the pain she was feeling.

Everything seemed to be okay, though Kirino was worried about something the white haired woman had said about Minami's body falling into pain. She came to the building when Minami spoke up and pulled her in close. Kirino had stopped crying and put on a soft smile when Minami nuzzled into her. Kirino then looked at her injuries and could not feel anything more than disgust in herself, but then she noticed something. It was slow and steady, but Minami was starting to heal at a rapid rate and the wound she had stopped bleeding. It was that that Minami began to speak of more pain. Kirino began to hurry and moved up the stairs after entering the building. "I'm taking you somewhere safe... It'll be okay." Kirino told her as she hurried up the stairs. As she ran up, she noticed the way the rooms were numbered and realized she had to get to the fourth floor. Minami continued telling her how she was in pain and finally she found the room. Using the key that was given to her, she quickly opened it up and walked into a small apartment. It was decently decorated, but nothing too special. Kirino noticed a bed off into another room and she hurried into there. "You're okay. You're safe now." Kirino told her as she set her down on the bed, "You're not going to die... The woman said you'll live. You'll be fine." Feeling that she was still cold, she grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her. "Here, I'll get you something to drink..." Kirino said and turned away to find the kitchen, but she heard Minami beg for her to not leave her alone. Kirino looked back to her with a slightly surprised face, but it soon calmed and another soft smile formed on her face. "Alright..." Kirino said and went over to sit by Minami, though she intentionally moved behind her and placed Minami's back against her chest. She pulled up the blanket to cover her, once again noticing Minami's injuries healing much faster than normal. "What did that woman do to her...?" she asked herself and then held firmly onto Minami. "Just try and relax." Kirino told her as she glance dout the window, waiting for that woman to return and explain.

Kirino reassured Minami she would be safe as Minami endured the pain and the bumpiness caused by ascending the stairwell.  She was repeatedly assured that she would be fine, and that she was being taken somewhere safe.  She just listened to Kirino's comforting words and endured the pain, until she felt the softness of a bed.  Kirino then wrapped a blanket around her.  She could already feel her body warming up a bit.  When Kirino tried to leave the room, Minami whimpered for her to stay, and she did.  Minami felt Kirino's body move behind her...and she felt her back being rested against Kirino's chest.  Kirino then wrapped the blanket around them, so they were both sharing the warmth of the blanket.  Even through the pain...Minami was happy.  Her and Kirino were in such close quarters.  Minami just leaned back and enjoyed the warmth of Kirino's body.  After how cold she felt, her warmth was pure bliss.  For at least 10 minutes, Minami forgot the pain and just relaxed.  She was with Kirino...that was all she needed right now.  Unfortunately the pain was slowly rising in her body.  After the 10 minutes, suddenly a sharp pain shot through her body and she cried out in pain, a small scream.  Then it subsided.  Then it returned, and forced Minami to scream again.  "The pain!"  Minami cried out.  She pressed her body into Kirino's for comfort as she fought the pain.  It was to no avail, another jolt of pain.  She screamed.  And another jolt, another scream.  Kirino had to endure listening to scream after scream.  It was a repetitive cycle.  During one moment where the pain died down, Minami spoke to Kirino.  

"Please...promise me you won't leave me."  She said as another jolt of pain shot through.  It was torture, all this pain.  She couldn't even grow used to it, it wasn't constant.  If it was constant, she might learn to tolerate it after a time.  But it just shot through her body out of nowhere, time and time again.  "Kirino...I need you..."  She said desperately.  She was using Kirino to keep herself as calm as she could.  She was using Kirino to stay sane.  Without her...this pain would be far worse.  Then, another moment where the pain subsided happened.  She used this chance to say something she was beginning to feel.  "I feel so...greedy..."  She cried out in pain for a moment, then continued.  "I keep asking you to help me...and to always be there for me."  Another pause, another cry of pain.  "I shouldn't ask you to be there...so much...but I...I need you."  Minami said as she cried out more, extremely loudly, as this was the sharpest and worst pain yet.  "I'm...I'm...sorry..."  And yet another scream.

Time passed and Kirino was holding firmly onto Minami, though gently as well. Minami was able to relax for a while and Kirino soon followed. The time of relaxation was at an end when Minami was once again thrown into immense pain. Kirino tightened her grip on Minami, thought not enough to hurt her more. She merely did not want Minami thrashing around and hurting herself in the process. Kirino kept her eyes closed as she listened to the screams of pain that Minami let out. With each one, Kirino's heart skipped a beat. The pain would fade and come back over and over again. And for a few moments the pain dulled again, allowing Minami to speak. She wanted Kirino to promise she would not leave her and this cause Kirino to freeze for a moment. Another jolt of pain shot through Minami and Kirino instinctively held on a little tighter to comfort Minami, but her mind was a little stuck. Of course she wasn't going to leave, but something hit her. It was something she hadn't felt before, or rather she did feel it but had refused to acknowledge it until this moment. The promise she had made to Minami, she had never done something like that before. To promise another person that they would be safe as long as she was around was something that not many people could keep up with. "I promise, Minami." Kirino finally said something and held onto her. Kirino watched as Minami held onto her as well. She heard Minami tell her that she needed her and Kirino's heart skipped another beat. She said nothing back because she was unsure of how to react, but she did not take her eyes off of Minami. After a little more time, Minami spoke up and called herself greedy for asking Kirino to be there so much. During this moment, the two went on not noticing the white haired woman's return. She had hopped up to the open window off to Kirino's right and stood on the window frame like a frog on a lilypad. Her eyes were glowing a bright red, making her look angry, but she was merely sitting there watching the two, trying not to disturb them. Kirino's mind was too distracted to notice another presence because Minami was saying things that were practically grabbing onto her heart.

"Minam-..." another cry of pain came and Kirino pulled her in closer than she had before, bringing her in close enough that the two would almost seem as one. Minami went on to say that she shouldn't of asked Kirino to be there, but Kirino merely shook her head at that. She wanted to be here. "I want to be here, Minami. I regret nothing." Kirino told her as she brought a hand down onto Minami's back and rubbed up and down to comfort Minami. Suddenly a sharp pain hit her harder than any of the one's before and caused Kirino to jump as Minami screamed. "Oh my god..." Kirino thought as she held tightly onto Minami. Minami apologized to her and Kirino leaned into Minami and set her cheek on top of Minami's head. "There's nothing to apologize for." Kirino told her and then smiled softly. Another scream came and Kirino just kept holding on. There was nothing else she could do and at that... There was something going through her mind and heart at the moment, though she was still confused on what it was. She just knew that being near Minami was the right thing to do. "Hm..." Lilith thought as she silently entered the room completely and moved over to the bed to sit near the two of them. "I could tell that you two cared about each other, but neither of you seemed like the type to be of the homosexual orientation. Cute couple though." Lilith said as she sat down across from them. The moment Kirino heard her, she lifted her cheek from Minami's head and looked over to her.

With every scream, Kirino held on tighter and tighter.  It was definitely comforting for Minami and she definitely needed it.  She was honestly scared.  Sure, she was much less dead than she was a short while ago, but would that last?  This pain could mean she is still going to die.  Why now?  Why when she was able to get this close to Kirino did her life have to be hanging by a thread?  Of course, she wasn't going to die, but she didn't know that.  Kirino made the promise Minami asked of her and held on tighter to the pained girl.  They only held each other tighter.  Minami managed to force a smile on her face upon hearing Kirino's words.  Kirino at one point tried to speak, but Minami's scream of pain stopped her.  Minami was pulled into Kirino so much it was as if they were unified.  After everything Minami said though, Kirino merely stated she wanted to be there, and that she regretted nothing.  There was nothing to apologize for.  "I...see..."  Was all Minami could say before another jolt came, this time she held it in mostly.  It hurt, and she knew she was worrying Kirino by the way Kirino tightened her hold every time she screamed, so a muffled cry was all she allowed out this time.  Kirino's cheek was on Minami's head...and she liked it.  Though it wasn't long before the woman from before came in suddenly.  Minami's heart skipped a beat.  Did she just say...homosexual orientation?  Cute couple.  Minami turned her head to look at this woman.  It was strange...this woman who seemed like a random stranger...to her almost felt like there was a familiarity...like there was some sort of connection.  "H-homosexual!  I'm...I'm n...I..."  Minami actually couldn't bring herself to say it...she knew it was a lie.  She knew she was homosexual, a lesbian.  Minami just kinda went limp.  She still held onto Kirino, but she didn't know what to say.  Kirino probably wasn't a lesbian, and Kirino probably didn't return her feelings.  Or...did she?  She was here...through everything.  She made all those promises, and she was holding her so tightly.  Minami...didn't know what to think.  "We..."  Minami's voice became quiet, yet there was a notable hint of sadness at the fact.  "Aren't a couple."  There was another sharp sting of pain.  "Kirino...I..."  She wanted to say it, she wanted to tell Kirino how she felt...but she couldn't find the words.  Minami just tightened her grip, and sat silent, reacting to whatever might be said during the gap.  Then she spoke up.  "Who...who are you?  What is...happening to me?"  Minami asked Lilith.  This woman had to know, it was after something she did that this all began after all.

Kirino was drawn into silence upon Minami's reaction to Lilith's accusation. She had intentionally stayed silent before because she wasn't sure whether she was or not. She never thought of anyone as someone to love, whether male or female, but since she had been around Minami she had been making more and more strides to protect her. Was what Lilith saying hinting at something? Kirino's mind was distracted to the point where she was not really replying to anyone. She heard Minami say that they weren't a couple, which pushed that thought out of her mind, but that didn't mean that she might be lesbian. Obviously Minami was just not interested, though Kirino took a small note of the sadness she heard in Minami's voice. Minami went to speak to her again and Kirino turned towards her, but Minami just stopped speaking. "Hm..." Kirino thought until Minami asked the white haired woman what was going on. Kirino turned towards the woman as well, staring rather serious at her. Lilith just smiled and took in a deep breath. "You're undergoing a drastic change. Your body is changing into what you humans refer to as vampires." Lilith told Minami, though making sure to make eye contact with both of them, "I told you... It's a huge deal and not everyone is able to handle it..." Lilith slid onto the bed more and leaned her back up against the wall it was up against. "What the fuck do you mean? A vampire? Those ar-..." Kirino began asking, though she was cut off. "Now here this!" Lilith interrupted her with a dominating tone, "We are not the same as vampires. The legend of those creatures was created because of us. We are not blood sucking demons that call humans are food, understand that now." Lilith sighed and looked to Minami, "I'm not sure what's going to happen to you completely... I can tell you that you'll be able to see the spirit part of the world, you'll gain powers, and you'll need to survive on an energy source, one that you'll realize depending on which you feel the thirst for. It'll either be Qi, Reishi, or Blood..."

Kirino said nothing, and Minami's heart sank.  Deep down, she was praying that Kirino would say something telling Minami she liked her.  Her silence only left the confusion, and the hope, while not dead, was kicked in the crotch quite hard.  That silence was more painful than a know, it meant she'd have to keep wondering, and it was eating her up inside.  She just looked up at Kirino sadly, before looking back down.  She listened to the woman's explanation.  She was becoming...a vampire?  And...she'd be able to see spirits?  Suddenly Minami's heart jumped up, something she had wanted for so long was going to be hers.  "...I can get used to...that...I guess."  She said after the woman had finished.  Suddenly though, there was a massive jolt of pain.  This was not a wave, this was constant.  Minami was in so much pain, she began thrashing, though it was likely that Kirino's hold would keep her mostly still.  She would go on like this, screaming immensely for awhile, occasionally shouting about how much it hurt and begging for it to stop. "P-PLEASE! NO MORE PAIN!" She shouted. "IT HURTS!" Then suddenly...it all stopped. Minami's body went limp.  The screaming stopped.  Her small body settled and fell into Kirino.  She was completely unconscious, but her small hands managed to tighten and hold onto Kirino once she did pass out. The time had finally come where Minami could get some rest, and recover from the pain. For the first time since she was attacked, she seemed to peaceful. Despite the pain her body had, her unconsciousness had completely numbed her to it. Despite all this, her body was undergoing a massive change from within. Her entire being was changing. For better or worse, it could not be stopped. All that anyone could do was watch, and help Minami out whenever she needed it.

"I hope you can..." was Lilith's reply to Minami saying she could live with what was going on. Living forever was not always the best thing for someone. Lilith had left that little part out, she was stuck at this age. She wouldn't get any taller, her body would not develop. The most she might get is longer hair, and even Lilith's does not grow. If it's cut, it returns to it's turned length, but then stops there. The three of them sat in silence for just a few moments until the main change suddenly kicked in, her body was halting it's normal growth, it's cells were altering, her organs were changing their need for sustenance. Minami began thrashing around like a madman. Kirino tried holding her down, but Minami was moving to harshly for her to keep her completely still. As she thrashed around, Kirino was accidentally elbowed in the large wound she had on her stomach. Kirino's eyes widened and her jaw locked tightly as she tried dealing with the pain and holding Minami down at the same time. Lilith noticed this and moved closer. She placed a hand on Minami's stomach and pushed her down into the bed to hold her still while Kirino as forced to grab her by the arms. After what felt like hours of this, Minami was finally able to pass out. Once she did, Kirino fell back into the bed and just laid there trying to catch her breath. "Here..." Lilith said as she reached over to Kirino. Lilith's eyes suddenly began to glow and Kirino froze in fear of what was about to happen, but she knew that she could not fight this woman. Lilith put her hand on Kirino's stomach and release a cool chill into Kirino to calm the pain. It was like putting an ice pack on her wound. Kirino felt this and was able to calm herself down a bit, and so did the pain. "Th-Thank you..." Kirino said as she closed her eyes. She was tired and felt like she needed to sleep. "You're welcome. And you can safely rest. She'll be out until morning." Lilith told her and Kirino nodded her head. Only a few moments passed and Kirino fell asleep with a single arm around Minami. Lilith smiled at the two and was going to stay up to watch over them, but the moment everything was calm and she blinked, she felt how tired she was. She leaned up against the wall and fell asleep. Through time, she slowly leaned towards the two of them, ending up laying on the opposite side of Minami, between Minami and the wall.

It was quiet and peaceful, Minami was out cold for a long time.  Her entire body had changed.  Every single cell in her body, while still containing her genetics, had changed.  Every organ now functioned differently.  Some remained largely unaltered due to their function.  Some acted completely different.  The sun beamed through the windows.  A movement.  Minami's body moved a bit, and the soft sound of Minami's voice could be heard, the kind of sounds you hear when one is waking up.  She opened her eyes.  Different.  While Minami could not see them, they had changed into a red color.  It wasn't just red, it was a deep red.  Some times it would seem brighter than others, but it was a deep red.  Two fangs now inhabited Minami's mouth, which looked rather cute on Minami oddly enough (as well as attractive to people who are into that kinda thing).  She looked around, noticing Kirino's position.  She smiled, but then remembered vaguely hitting Kirino by accident the night before. That was where Kirino was bruised, which made Minami feel a little bad.  She gently nudged Kirino.  "Kirino, hey, wake up."  Minami was unaware that she now had a gargantuan boost in strength.  Thankfully, since she was trying to gently nudge Kirino, the force she put into it was gentle...though it was only a matter of time before she put too much force into something (or someone, most likely Kirino) and caused some damage/sent it flying.  "Kirino, wake up."  She also looked and saw how Lilith had fallen asleep.  She nudged her too.  "Both of you, wake up."  Minami was alive, the pain was gone...wait, the pain was gone.  Minami's face lit up, it seemed she really wasn't going to die.  Though...the scent of blood still lingered, partially because blood stained Minami's clothes.  She wasn't fully aware of what the scent was...but it was appealing.  She felt kinda hungry...or was it thirsty?  She ended up looking towards Kirino's neck, biting her lip and wondering why some strange thoughts were entering her head...and why her neck seemed so appealing right now.  Still, once Kirino got up she'd look to her face.  "Morning Kirino."  She spoke, a little nervous, a little happy, each emotion for very different reasons.

Day had fallen quite elegantly upon London City and life erupted into the streets. Stores opened, people walked through them, and noise seeped through the walls of the open windows of the room three young women slept in. The first up was Minami, a sweet and apparently red eyed cutie with new found abilities. She rose and immediate went to waking her friend, momentarily unaware of the third person in the room. Once Lilith went noticed, Minami went to wake them both up, but this split minded concentration allowed for a rougher push than one was use to. Lilith woke up normally, glancing up to Minami with a softened smile on her lips. Kirino on the other hand was suddenly pushed with a burst of strength that only Lilith knew would likely happen. Kirino's body went flying across the room until her body hit a wheeled chair. In this sitting position, the chair slid all the way back to the farthest wall and slammed into it, causing three pictures to fall on the ground, the glass shattering. Kirino was stuck for that moment, staring at Minami in shock. Lilith sat up fully, staring at Kirino and then looking back to Minami. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!" Lilith suddenly burst out into an uncontrollable laughter at the situation. Both Minami and Kirino's expressions were priceless. They had not expected such a thing. Lilith laughed so hard that she ended up rolling off the bed, landing with a large THUMP on the ground. She froze for a moment, looked up to them, as Kirino looked to her. They both looked to Minami who suddenly said a sweet and nervous good morning which only made it worse. Lilith grabbed on to her stomach and then she and Kirino both bursted out into their own laughter. After the stressful night they had only a few hours before, waking up to being pushed across the room, laughter, and then falling on their ass was just too funny for them to hold the laughter in. "Good morning, Minami." Kirino said as she wiped tears of joy from her eyes. Of course, this was the type of situation that Lilith and Kirino could laugh at, though they doubted that Minami would share the same feeling. In fact, Kirino barely ever laughed, especially this much. It was sort of new...

Wait, you said what now?  Minami wasn't quite sure what just happened.  She went to nudge Kirino.  What she did was more than a nudge.  She somehow sent Kirino flying across the room.  No, she didn't just send Kirino across the room.  She sent her across the room, into a chair, made her sit in the chair, sent the chair across the room, made it smack into a wall, and caused 3 paintings to fall and break, all while Kirino looked confused.  The woman whom was also in the room ended up bursting out laughing and falling on her ass.  This was all shocking and confusing to Minami.  How did she just do that?  She ended up blushing slightly at the woman's laughter.  Her good morning was just as awkward as she felt.   When the woman fell on her ass, she stopped, looked to Kirino, and both of them started laughing hysterically.  "W-what is so funny!"  Minami said, she sounded mad but she was blushing and moving around in the way a shy person does, like fidgeting kind of.  "S-s-stop laughing at me!"  Minami said, face turning beet red and her stuttering like crazy.  Kirino said good morning as she wiped the tears of laughter from her eyes.  "Y-you too Kirino?"  Minami curled up embarrassed as she heard all of this.  "I don't even know how that happened."  She said as she looked up at Kirino, face still beet red.  "I didn't mean to do that..."  She said quietly.  She turned to Lilith.  "H-how did I do that?"  She just realized just what she had done.  How was she that strong?  She couldn't hurt a fly before, and now this.  "I...was never that strong before."  She looked back at Lilith, then went to look Kirino dead in the eyes, if Kirino didn't notice Minami's red eyes she would be noticing them now.  "And...I feel kinda weird...and thirsty."  She said as she also took note of Kirino's still quite appealing looking neck, still confused as to why.

The two of them were not able to stop laughing at this. Neither of them could even tell what was funny at this point! They just kept laughing. They saw Minami's embarrassment and only could laugh harder. They weren't laughing in an offensive manner. It was just so funny! So much pain and suffering the night before and they wake up to her being super strong! That wasn't even something to laugh about, but they were! After a while, they finally were able to stop laughing, though a small chuckle would come out every now and then. "I told you that you would develop abilities, young one." Lilith said as she pushed herself quite effortlessly back onto the bed, actually almost seeming like she had glided upwards and onto the bed, "This is actually just one of the many you likely will develop. I'm not sure of all the abilities you will have, but..." Kirino watched as Lilith stood up and walk over to a dresser. She opened it up and pulled out a mirror. Lilith walked back over to Minami and held the mirror up to her face. "...it seems you've inherited my eyes." Lilith tilted her head to the side slightly, smiling sweetly down to the young woman. Kirino pushed herself to her feet and stepped over to Minami to see what Lilith was talking about. Kirino's eyes widened momentarily once she saw that they were red. "Hm." was the only noise she could make since she was unsure of what words to muster up. It didn't look bad at all, which was shocking to Kirino. In fact, the red almost seemed more fitting than the green they once were. "Yes, you will feel thirsty. Tell me, what Affinity is pulling you? Your friend here seems to work off of reishi, while most humans seem to work off of Qi... Quite unique by the way." Lilith turned to Kirino to acknowledge that fact, then turned back to Minami after receiving a nod from Kirino, "... and then there is the blood Affinity. Depending on which one of these you'll be attached to, you'll have to survive off of it. You'll feel a thirst for it, crave it until you've taken in enough to live normally."

"Wait, so she's going to have to feed, right? So, how often?" Kirino spoke up and asked.

"Differs from Sōnansha to Sōnansha. I myself don't need to feed very often, but being who I am that shouldn't be shocking." Lilith said with a small giggle as she turned back to Minami, "Oh, and there are rules to being one of us. It all comes with the territory of being a Sōnansha. So, there are a few things we will have to discuss."

Lilith reiterated that she did say Minami would develop abilities.  Minami was, of course, happy that the laughter stopped.  The small occasional chuckle though was enough to bring the blush back whenever she heard it.  Lilith went over to a dresser and pulled out a mirror, showing Minami.  Inherited her eyes...her eyes?  Minami looked into the mirror, wondering what the hell she meant.  "Wh-wha!"  Minami gasped shocked at what she saw in the mirror.  Her eyes were red.  "M-my eyes!"  Minami was utterly shocked.  Her eyes had been a green, but now they were a deep red.  Kirino went over and looked Minami dead in the eye, which of course made Minami very self conscious (after all, her eyes were suddenly red) and caused her to get a little more nervous.  Kirino's eyes widened, but were placed with a "hm".  Minami didn't know what to think.  What if Kirino didn't like her eyes being red?  What if Kirino found it disturbing!?  Though, for all she knew, Kirino might have liked them this way.  Still, seeing as Kirino didn't show much in the way of "interest", Minami's mind leaned towards the negative.  In fact, she didn't even know what to think of her own eyes.  The woman went on to tell Minami about how she would need something, crave it to live.  A lot of this talk went over Minami's head, but the talk of needing to feed definitely clicked.  She knew she wanted something, and the scent was still pretty strong.  Was it blood?  "Well...whatever it is...it smells so strong right now...and so appealing.  It's so strange..."  She kept being drawn to Kirino's neck, but she was unsure why.  Was she feeling the desire to feed off of her?  What would Kirino even think!?  She didn't know, and she'd have to figure it out in a little bit, as the woman began to mention rules.  "R-rules?  You're not going to force me to do all these crazy jobs or tasks or something...or or make me throw more people across a room in order to live are you?!?!"  Of course, that wasn't what was going to happen, but Minami didn't know that.  Last thing she wanted was to be forced to work in order to have the right to live.  Obviously though, what she did to Kirino was still stuck in her head.

"Um... No." Lilith raised an offended eyebrow at Minami. Her assumption that she'd be put to work was not something that Lilith enjoyed hearing. Her concern was understandable, but Liilith wasn't that type of woman. Kirino was quite relieved when Lilith confirmed that Minami would not be forced to do jobs. "The few things we need to discuss are the basics of Sōnansha Law. Many Sōnansha think that because they're suddenly stronger than humans that humans are weaker and inferior to them. This is not a mindset I enjoy being in those loyal to me. For one, do not go around turning every human you see or bite into one of us. I have a very... very... very... strong hate for Sōnansha who do that." Lilith stood up and stared down at Minami in a threatening manner to merely get the point across, intentionally changing her tone to make it sound even worse. "Secondly, if you are forced to turn someone, they cannot be under the age of thirteen. I, myself, refuse to turn anyone before the age of eighteen, unless the situation is unfair or dire. Young one's have a tendency to not be able to control their power... I've seen it where a newborn will kill innocent people because they're not sure of what to do." A small glint of sadness appeared in her eyes and disappeared just as quickly as it came when she said that. She stepped over to the other side of the room to think and then crossed her arms along her chest. "Thirdly, don't feed off one of your own kind, it can kill you and is forbidden anyway. Number four, if you find a Rogue Sōnansha either send them to me or report them if they refuse to become registered. You, I will register myself, so you don't have to worry about that..." she said and then trailed off a bit, "Oh! Right... There is a power that you *may* get. Hypnotism. If you get it, do not misuse it. I can't say I want you deemed a Rogue Sōnansha, so use it right." "Whoa, don't you think that is a bit much? How is she supposed to remember all of this? And Rogue? Hypnotism?! What do you mean turning someone else? Can she do th-..." "CALM DOWN!" Lilith yelled and shut Kirino up, something that Kirino was just not used to. Frankly, Kirino was acting way out of her normal. Fact was, she was both fearful and admired Lilith. She hadn't ever met someone with more power and than she had. It sort of made her feel inferior and excited at the same time. "I know it's a lot, okay? But I can't exactly stay here, so I'm giving the small version of everything..." Lilith sighed and turned to Minami, "Look... You're going to be respected in the Sōnansha community merely because I am the one that turned you, okay? You are a Class A Sōnansha, very, very rare."

"Don't look so upset!"  Minami said flailing her arms, air movement being audible due to how strong she now apparently was.  "How am I supposed to know!! HUH!?  Suddenly talking about rules, rules could mean several things!"  Minami finally stopped her rapid arm flailing.  Lilith went onto describe the first rule, and she was beginning to ruin her first impression with the intimidation.  Minami saw this kind of intimidation as a sign of some kind of un-intelligence or weakness.  After all, it sounded a lot like something a bully would do, say "Do this and don't do this" while threatening you if you don't.  Still, that didn't stop her from being intimidated.  She was shaking in fear before Lilith even finished her first point.  She was scared half to death. "O-of course...though t-the use of in-intimidation isn't putting the S-Sōnansha in a very good light."  Yep, she just said it.  She felt bullied, the threatening tone was completely unnecessary.  Minami got up and ran and hid behind Kirino when she did this.  "I'M SORRY, DON'T HATE ME!  I'm tired of everything trying to hurt or scare me!"  She cried out as she cowered behind Kirino.  Okay, that little bit of threatening had terrified Minami.  Lilith went on, Minami still cowering in her fear.  She explained who not to turn, not that Minami planned on turning anyone.  Finally she went on about rogues and drinking' from other Sōnansha.  Minami nodded as she poked her head out from behind Kirino.  "I can do all that...  She said.  "Just don't scare me again."  She whined, though she was trying to relax and it was more of an adorable whine than anything.  Of course, when Lilith promptly shut up Kirino Minami let out a little "eep" and hid behind Kirino again.  She started shaking again.  She was like a small animal.  Even if Lilith had nothing but good intentions, the slightest thing could make Minami jump.  Lilith went on about how this was the short version.  Then she turned to Minami specifically.  She went on about being respected because of who turned her.  "...I-I'm sorry.  You're trying to be nice and I'm jumping like a scared little animal.  Just when you sounded all scary I felt like I was being bullied again, and it isn't like I could stop you if you tried to do anything."  Minami inched her way from behind Kirino until she was completely vulnerable, which was, to her, a sign of giving Lilith her trust.  After all, behind Kirino she felt completely protected, but otherwise she was completely unprotected.
