 | Built off the coast of Sevastopol as "Second Troy (Vtoraya Troya)," Ares was recently purposed as the Earth Sphere Alliance military headquarters. Construction began on Ares in 2025 and was finished in 2036. Ares is the largest concrete structure. The only structure that rivals it is Artemis. Artemis is roughly 2/3 the size of Ares. The main difference between Ares and Artemis is that the former is a military fortress. Ares has thousands upon thousands of anti-air, anti-ship, anti-armor, and anti-infantry weapons on its massive walls. These range between missiles to heavy artillery to machine gun turrets. There is a full airfield, two drydocks for flying battleships, two ICBM launchers, and a launch site for spacecraft to launch satellites. The massive spire extends nearly 2 kilometers into the sky and is protected by the same type of defenses as the wall is. Although it was built pre-WWIII, Ares is still harder to infiltrate than any other facility on earth. The walls are are a high angle and nearly impossible to climb. The walls also do not have any way for people to travel through them except for the main gate which is patrolled by two entire platoons, two tanks, and an IFV. The main gate also is locked from the inside. There are no undersea openings. There is only one land route that can be lowered to prevent invasion that way. Ares's main computers are on a closed circuit and do not contact the outside. The computers that handle communication run a separate server. Ares only requires a supply drop every once every five years thanks to the immense storage capacity. All cargo that is dropped is inspected package-by-package. Ares can be classified as the most secure facility on Earth.
