"Dignity? To hell with dignity! I'll retire when my goddamn job is finally done!"

Basics

Name: [REDACTED]
Codename: "M"
Also Known As: Mum
True Age: [REDACTED]
Gender: Female
Nationality: British
Voice: Judi Dench

Personality: M is a bitch. She knows that. Her allies know that. Her enemies know that. People who don't even know her know that. It's her thing, okay? She is harsh, abrasive and will tell it exactly like it is until you understand that she is a bitch. She takes neither shit nor prisoners, and will mess up anyone who questions her methods. Having been around for quite a long time, she has had enough experience in the world to understand how it works, and realizes that merely coddling people is not enough--she needs to make sure people know what she's saying. She hates nothing more than to be misunderstood, and as such makes sure that her sentences are as carefully worded and unambiguous as possible.

That said, she is somewhat matronly--she does actually care, but doesn't want to smother them. Her agents are like her children, and she will guide them as far as they need her to, rather than how much they may want her to. As such, she can seem rather cold and disconnected. She is blunt, and will tell you if she doesn't like you or the way that you do things. She has told it to many people, so you really don't need to take it personally. In fact, you really shouldn't take anything M says personally, or you may find yourself leaving work a lot earlier than you anticipated. She doesn't pull her punches, that woman.

She does, of course, actually feel other emotions like love, happiness and joy (despite what some of her subordinates may say--I'm looking at you, Bond) it's just that she doesn't feel the need to show them around her people. She likes to keep up appearances, and if she finds someone she can open up to, then she will be quite happy to show them her more emotional side. She dislikes the PM, the Queen and almost everything about Britain. But she doesn't stop fighting for it, since she knows that there are things out there that would love to destroy the people. Even as a Sugiura, she would be more than happy to fight for Earth.

Everything about M is straightforward, open and honest. If you can't get that, then she doesn't care--nothing matters more to her than survival and making sure those who she needs to keep alive, stay alive.

General Appearance

Spoiler:

Animalistic Traits: They're quite obvious--when she's in public, her Gigai hides them, but when outside of the public eye, she quite obviously has the cat ears, multiple tails and the slits in her eyes.
Appearance Age: Early 30s.
Height: 5'0"
Weight: 42kg

Magecraft Unleashed

Bullet: A simple blast of magic, fired from M's right index finger. It travels quickly in a straight line, and can be easily compared to a shot from a handgun. While it doesn't do too much damage on its own, M can fire lots of these, and in quick succession.

Blast: A powerful blast of magic, fired from the palm of M's right hand. While slower than [Bullet], it does more damage and has splash damage alongside that--it can almost be called a shotgun round. She can fire these five times in a post, and they do a moderate amount of damage.

Cannon: This is M's most powerful projectile magic, and she has to gather energy for half a post with no other attacking actions before firing it. It is capable of ripping the face off of a building with ease, and will kill most average humans with a well-placed hit. This can only be used once every five rounds.

Energy Recovery: M has difficulty regaining energy from the air naturally--as such, she has developed three ways of getting energy back that work a lot more. Firstly, she can sleep. Sleeping charges her up at a high rate, but also requires her to be vulnerable. It charges her by allowing her to naturally produce her own energy without using any to maintain unneeded processes. While this has the greatest rate of energy return, it is hard to keep herself safe while she does this--she only does it when she knows she is in a safe place. A night of sleep will usually charge her up for the next day--but Urano Metria requires a full 24 hours to recover enough energy to even maintain consciousness. Secondly, she can eat. Food isn't instantaneous, but it comes fast enough that she can generally keep going if she needs to. A full meal helps keep her charged--and her metabolism means she'll almost never gain weight. This works through metabolism, and most of M's glycogen is instantaneously translated into spiritual energy. Of course, this comes with the issue of getting food, especially when deep behind enemy lines. Sometimes, the third is the only possible option. It's embarrassing. The power of orgasm. Yeah, Deus Sex Machina and all that. But it works. The sudden experience of pleasure and release of hormones comes with a sudden influx of generated power. Any combination of one or more people can help M gain this, even if it's a quick selfie in a cave before a mission. This is last-ditch and will only give a small amount of additional energy.

Skyfall: M lacks variety in her Magecraft, to be quite simple and frank--at least she does when she hasn't activated the very basis of her Magic. Known as Skyfall, it can only be described as a Reality Marble--a rather powerful Magecraft that projects the internal world of the user onto reality itself. In order to activate this ability, M must speak a seven-line mantra--as long as the mantra is spoken completely within four rounds, she will be able to activate the ability upon finishing the lines.

This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the Earth move and then
Know that this is the end
The end of it all
Let the Sky Fall, let it crumble
And let me stand tall, at Skyfall...

When M and her opponent(s) enter Skyfall, the area around them suddenly devolves into darkness. The newly-found sky transforms and shapes itself into a star-field, seeming to stretch for thousands if not millions of miles. All knowledge of the outside world is cut off--as is all communication (whether via technology or powers, though there is an exception: See [Urano Metria]). Directly above M, who is in the very center of the Marble, is a sun that constantly emits heat and light. Due to its position, it is equal to a powerful fire attack from a master of fire element abilities--it is inadvisable to touch it. The sun also has a gravity well surrounding it, which can effect the abilities of enemies that fire them off at her. Depending on how long the Marble as been up, the sun will be of a different size and the gravity well will attract abilities more and more. The various levels are described below:

0 to 3 Rounds - Main Sequence - In this stage, the star is at its most stable. Abilities that can be affected by gravitational pull will be somewhat affected, not travelling in a straight line--1.25x Earth's Gravity. The star is yellow, and not very large at this time.

4 to 7 Rounds - Red Giant - In this stage, the star is starting to grow in size and mass. It changes into a red color and increases to twice its size. The gravity is twice as difficult to overcome, being about two and a half times that of the Earth.

8 to 10 Rounds - Supergiant - Although it will not change color, the star will double in size once more, taking up a large portion of the area until it's about to die. It has about five times the gravity of the earth pulling, and most abilities will not be able to fire at a usable trajectory.

11 to 16 Rounds - Nova State - In this stage, M has a choice. She can choose to continue to use the star to manipulate the trajectory of abilities. If she reaches round 16 without anything happening, the star will return to something about half the size of Main Sequence, and be unable to affect anything anymore. However, she can also choose to activate the ability [Supernova]. If this is the case, then there will be other effects, depending on the size of the star when she activates it. Each round, the star shrinks in size and mass. Once it has reached its last stage, it stays a constant white color.

It should also be mentioned that a few of M's abilities can be used outside of Skyfall. They're not as powerful as they would be within, however. The effects will be in bold.

Meteor: When used outside of Skyfall, Meteor is a movement technique that can allow M to attack opponents at great speeds. It increases the force of her movements, meaning that her physical attacks have more impact behind them when she collides. She can keep this up for an almost infinite amount of time, but the increased speed also means that she loses control and is easily stopped by stationary objects. Due to her mass being the same, she can't really break through defenses--this is only useful against lower-defense opponents. When used within Skyfall however, the ability takes on a completely different property. By designating a point with the index finger of her right hand, M can select a target to fire projectiles at. These projectiles are effectively small meteors that move at a high rate of speed and deal an average amount of damage upon collision. They are easily affected by the star in the centre of the marble. She can fire a large amount of these every post, and they make up the basic magical attacks in her arsenal, easily being fired one after another at the opponent. She loses the movement speed boost, but she can still give herself a moment's movement increase if she needs it in a pinch--this function of Meteor can only be used once per post.

Grand Chariot: When used outside of Skyfall, Grand Chariot is a quick-fire defensive technique that creates a small magic circle in front of M. A quick calculation is all that she needs to fire off an equal and opposite blast of energy to attempt to negate the attack coming at her with force. This is, of course, not perfect, and can quite often be defeated with less-obvious methods, but it's good against attacks like Cero. This can be used up to three times a post. When used within Skyfall, it takes on eight large magic circles that M fashions around her body at different heights, two on each side of her body. Each of the circles then proceeds to fire a powerful blast of magical energy that is unaffected by the gravitational changes of the star. Each of these attacks is reputedly twice the power of an average Cero, but they're easy to dodge. She can only use this once per post, and it is more a defensive ability than anything else.

Moonraker: When used outside of Skyfall, Moonraker fashions M with several crystallized claws on her fingers, each glowing bright white. These claws last for up to eight rounds, and deal additional melee damage against opponents. When used within Skyfall, however, Moonraker creates eight white orbs that (sic) orbit around M's body. Each of these orbs are about the size of a tennis ball, and continually move around M's body. At any time, M can grab one of these orbs and inject it with energy, throwing it in any direction as a powerful exploding projectile. When in a pinch, she can also expunge them outwards from her body for much the same effect, if lesser in power. Once the orbs have been spent, there is a five round cooldown on this ability.

Starfall: When used outside of Skyfall, M creates a large ball of energy over the course of a single post. After a post, this ball of energy is teleported above the target and dropped down on them. It deals a large amount of energy-based damage, but is easily dodged by quicker opponents. Can be used every four rounds. When used within Skyfall, it can only be used while the star is in its Supergiant stage. M allows the star to be released from its place up above the battlefield and drops it downwards. As the star takes up a lot of area, it has the potential to damage allies just as much as enemies. It is slightly faster inside than outside of Skyfall, and all of M's allies are given an early warning in their minds before its dropped. It deals a humongous amount of damage, but also immediately puts the star into Nova State.

Supernova: This ability can only be used while Skyfall's main star is in its Nova State, and has two potential forms that it can take. Either way, it is still activated with the singular command: "Collapse." When this command has been given, the star in the centre of the Marble will expand in size exponentially, suddenly gaining an extremely large amount of energy as it does so. Every being (including M) is damaged by this star, but not much. Once it reaches its outer limits, the star will drop rapidly in that size, before exploding. This is what does the majority of the damage, dealing a great amount of fire damage to every being (excluding M and her allies) inside the Marble. At this point, it will have taken either one or two forms.

If Nova State has been active for less than three rounds, the resulting form will come to be known as Neuron Star. It will be an average-sized star, but it will appear to glow a bright turquoise color. While in this form, it gives off twice the gravitational resistance of the Supergiant stage, but this comes with a hitch--it stops affecting energy-based abilities, and instead only focusses on enemies. This makes fighting more difficult for all  physical parties while the star is in this state. This is best when M is fighting against enemies who focus on using melee damage, as she is weak up close.

However, if Nova State has been active for three or more rounds, the resulting form will be known as Black Hole, and this is far more devastating than its former. Black Hole creates an inescapable area of gravity in the centre of the battlefield--it is a powerful gravity that will suck in everything that isn't a living being; even light itself is exhtinguished when under the area of Black Hole. The real deadliness of this comes from its absorption potential, however. As energy attacks are used, it will absorb them within moments of it being released--they will not even have their trajectory modified. With every absorbed energy attack, the Black Hole will slowly grow larger--and the larger it grows, the more pressure it begins to exert upon everyone (including M). This pressure is in the form of increased gravity, and will slowly increase to fifty times that of Earth's gravity. Once at this stage, moving is nearly impossible unless the character is trained to fight in such a situation.

At this stage, the Black Hole is in its Supermassive state. When Supermassive, it means that Skyfall is nearing its end. Over the course of three rounds, everyone within this ability will see chunks of it flying off of the edges and into the Black Hole. It won't grow any larger, but more and more holes will be released--the light will show momentarily before being absorbed. After the third round, Skyfall will be completely consumed by the Black Hole--a lack of a tether will then cause the Black Hole to eat itself and disappear. This marks the end of Skyfall--but it really doesn't do that much damage to enemies. If anything, this is what you would call a failsafe.

Urano Metria:

Survey the Heaven, Open the Heaven...
All the stars, far and wide...
Show me thy appearance...
With such shine.
O Tetrabiblos...
I am the ruler of the stars...
Aspect became complete...
Open thy malevolent gate.
O 88 Stars of the heaven...
Shine!
Urano Metria!

Sure, [Starfall] and [Black Hole] are powerful things. But they have nothing on this. No, seriously. The amount of energy given off by this attack is so intense, it can fill two of M's [Black Hole] abilities to their limit. Not just one, but two; with leftovers. Urano Metria is effectively a space-based kinetic cannon--and there is little else that she can use to describe it. In orbit above Planet Earth is a satellite, connected to M's energy signature. It's possible, but difficult, to shoot this weapon down--and impossible while within the confines of [Skyfall].

As she begins to speak this Mantra, M is suddenly made nigh-invulnerable for the duration, rising up into the star at the centre of the Marble and temporarily connecting to its energies. Drawing energy from that, and the planet itself, she sends up a signal that is laden with an intense amount of energy. This flux can be noticed by beings within a hundred kilometres of the location, but only for half a second. After about three seconds, the satellite is activated--and the payload of energy is dropped. However, this ability really cannot be classed as a simple energy attack. As it falls and slowly gains in speed, the energy begins to crystallize, from the centre. When it reaches ground zero, about 50% of the energy has crystallized. This large mass of energy and crystal goes through the outer edges of Skyfall, and collides with the ground. At that moment, all of the gathered kinetic energy is released, along with all of the remaining magical energy around the mass. The resulting explosion has been compared to a 50 megaton nuclear bomb, and releases so much energy that the edges of Skyfall are almost instantly disintegrated. Whether or not those within this marble survive is up to the preparation taken, but it is likely that severe injuries have been maintained. M herself will be discovered laying on top of the spherical mass--completely drained of any energy and sleeping. She will require about three days of rest before she's capable of even standing again, let alone getting back into the fight. This is easily the most risky of M's abilities, but comes with the chance of a high return.

Past

Character Background: For as long as she can recall, War has always been a large part of M's life. She has always been involved and embroiled within the actions and justifications of war; and she has learned every trick necessary to both add to and prevent such things from occurring further. Even as a child, she had to deal with the harshness of war--her parents were killed in battle. Working for herself, [NAME REDACTED] grew up with the horrors of war etched into the back of her mind. She didn't like war. She wanted to be rid of it. Death, destruction--it needed to stop. But she couldn't do it without becoming a warrior herself.

For many years, M simply battled and fought. The more she fought, the less she saw an end to war. The more she battled, the less she wanted to continue on with this meaningless quest. It couldn't happen. They were just too different; and differences were what caused wars to break out. She didn't know what she could do, and she almost reached a point where nothing could be any worse for her. She contemplated suicide. She contemplated exile. She contemplated just not being there--to be gone, disappeared, destroyed. She wanted to be cast away to the stars in which she would use the power of.

What changed? We don't know. We shan't know. She moved to the planet Earth. She found something new--a world that she wanted to protect. She wanted to justify her own actions for the sake of other beings. She found London, and by rights--MI6. She was one of the founding members, and her face has changed over the ages--but she's always been the same person. She is harsh to her men, but she definitely cares--and that's all that matters, right?
