Personality: Yashiro used to be a blank state. This white-haired loli once had nothing to really live for. She could not see people. She could not interact with them. Then, this red-haired beauty gave her reason to live. Hell, not just live. Yashiro was given a reason to exist, to love, to learn, to just... be Yashiro. Yashiro still can't be social with most people (since you know, she can't physically interact with anyone but Sumika), but she doesn't care. Sumika is all she wants. She loves looking at other people, as it's something she hasn't seen, but she'd rather just look at Sumika. Every part of Sumika is beautiful to Yashiro. Everything about her personality is alluring to Yashiro. However, she has one big problem with that. Yashiro is... a bit selfish when it comes to Sumika. Sumika is the first person she had ever seen... but Yashiro knows that Sumika has seen more people than Yashiro can count. So, Yashiro does everything in her power to make sure she stands out in Sumika's view.

Or rather, she does all those things to make sure that she secures her place in Sumika's heart. She wants to be the person that Sumika wakes up beside. She wants to be the person Sumika can cry to. Yashiro... wants Sumika to accept and love her just as much as Yashiro accepts and loves Sumika. Yashiro loves taking baths with Sumika because it allows Yashiro to see all of Sumika and for Sumika to see all of Yashiro. This even applies when Sumika covers herself, Yashiro still loves that, but she also hates it. She hates it because it shows that Sumika is still wary of Yashiro. However, Yashiro would willingly give herself to Sumika any day. To be quite honest, she really has already... Sumika just hasn't realized it or accepted it. But the problem with that is that Yashiro doesn't know normal dating procedure. ...Actually, she doesn't know anything about dating. She basically just latched onto Sumika, willing to give herself away to this beautiful—yet sometimes ditzy—redhead. All Yashiro wants is for Sumika to love her... that's all she'd need. While being around Sumika is good enough, for Sumika to say that... no, for her to mean that is perfection.

Yashiro does not understand a lot of what Sumika says. She's never been around people who could speak to her, let alone where she could see things to make metaphors make sense. She only sees the sky as the sky. She sees the ground as the ground. But, Sumika is Sumika. The fact that there is someone who is there is making her rethink her views. When she gazes into the sky, she sees Sumika's eyes. When she looks at the ground, she sees Sumika's luscious legs. And when she looks at Sumika... she sees the most perfect thing in her world. To be honest... all Yashiro sees is Sumika. She sees the one person whom she can love in everything. Sshe sees everything in the one person whom she can love. Sshe relies on Sumika to explain things, which may not be the best option, but it's all she wants. She finds it cute when she can't. She finds it cute when she can. Dammit, everything she does is cute to Yashiro. But, that is why Yashiro wants to understand more. She wants to understand what Sumika because she wants to be closer to her. She wants to learn the metaphors because Sumika's words could have great implications... but Yashiro would never understand it without Sumika helping her.

Natural Abilities

Blindness of the Soul: Yashiro... can not see people. She can taste them. She can not hear them. She can not smell them. She can, however, touch them. There is a single exception thanks to her 'frequency,' but other than that... Yashiro was born unable to interact with anyone. She can plants, trees, cars, etc. , but she can not see spirits nor humans nor anything in-between. She can't, by extension, see their clothes either. Instead, everything is desolate to her. The only other thing she can see besides Sumika and herself is the BETA.

Magecraft Unleashed

Magecraft: Yashiro's Magecraft is... odd. It's a standard summoning-type. But it's what it summons that is odd. These creatures are known as BETA. It's unknown what they come from, but what is known is that Yashiro can create an ungodly amount of them... however, it's more like her opening a gate for them to appear than it is for them to be summoned. This means that power-canceler won't cause these to disappear. These things... are disgusting. They eat things. They eat things made out of carbon. This means that they're useless outside of the world of the living and the Sugiura Realm. And by the way, humans are made of carbon. This means that's their main foodsource. She can only activate a summon once per thread... but the BETA will remain even with Yashiro leaving. In fact, they stay until they are defeated. But as long as the BETA are not killed from the first release, she can't summon more. BETA stands for Beings of the Extra Terrestrial origin which is Adversary of human race, because well... they eat people. Yashiro has no control over these creatures. They have a mind of their own, although it is quite simple. The only thing she can control is when they start appearing and when they stop appearing. Otherwise, they're on their own. There are different classes for the BETA.



Soldier-class BETA Venarius: Caput grande "Venator": Standing at 2.3 meters tall, the Soldier-class is the smallest strain of BETA encountered. The Venator is solely anti-personnel and ineffective against mechanized infantry, with arm strength several times that of an average human's. In contrast, its speed is less than stellar. However this rarely seems to be an issue as they are deployed en-masse, utilising swarm tactics to leave no avenue of escape for their prey. It has been confirmed that they are made from recycled organic materials (i.e.- humans who were captured or eaten), but it is not specified if that applies to just this strain or to all BETA. It is unknown whether the vaginal-like opening in the lower body of the Soldier class is actually used for reproductive purposes


Warrior-class BETA Agilisis: Naris prolix "Barrus naris": At 2.5 meters tall, the Warrior-class is one of the smaller strains of BETA, intended for anti-personnel roles and ineffective against mechanized infantry. As they are extremely lightly armored, even handguns and rifles are effective on them. However, it is hard to actually hit them due to their agility, and once close their trunk-like arm has enough strength to easily pull a man's head off.


Tank-class BETA Manderium: Ungulam crus "Equus pedis": The Tank-class BETA is the third smallest strain, measuring at 2.8 meters tall. Infantry weapons are effective against them, but while it is lightly armored and classified as an anti-infantry unit, the Tank-class has gained notoriety as the smallest anti-mechanized infantry unit the BETA have; their physical strength and jumping abilities are prodigous and their powerful jaws can bite through even super-carbon, allowing it to easily catch and demolish vehicles. In fact this species kills more than any other. The Tank-class rarely travels alone; Tank-class encounters usually number in hundreds if not thousands, and more if they are part of a major BETA force where they can make up to a massive 40% of the entire force. They carry a distinctive smell of sulphur, are able to reach speeds of up to 80km/h and can quickly cover a short distance by jumping onto a target; unless out of options, great care should be taken to minimize melee contact with the Tank-class, as they have a tendecy to latch on unless killed, and it is entirely possible for it to have bitten through a major component by then.


Laser-class BETA Luxcius: Duo oculus "Lux": At 3.0 meters tall, the Laser-class BETA are some of the smaller anti-mechanized infantry units the BETA field, and are lightly armored to the extent where they can be easily taken down with 20mm cannons. Their giant eyes fire lasers that are effective against targets of up to 10 kilometers high and 30 kilometers from the where the Laser-class stands. With the capability to track targets from 38 kilometers away, 12 seconds in-between each shot, and a perfect record of never hitting allied BETA strains in a crossfire, the Laser-class played an instrumental role in shutting down mankind's air superiority on the field of battle. However it takes a few seconds from opening fire for the beam to reach full power. Although best known for their adaption to be used against aerial bombing and air operations, they are primarily used to break down rock and materials.


Grappler-class BETA Rrabidusius: Bracchium acutas "Medium": The Grappler-class measures 12.0 meters tall and is armed with two extremely tough forearms, with hardness 15 on the Mohs scale, which they use to batter enemies to death, and can also act as shields against poorly-aimed weapons fire. Because of this, it is recommended to attack from the sides to minimize exposure to danger, or to take advantage of its relatively unarmored body. While not particularly fast, the Grappler-class is considerably mobile and nimble in combat. It is the BETA's main unit in battles against mechanized infantry; in a group with the Grappler-, Destroyer- and Fort-class BETA, the Grappler-class usually numbers 60% of the total force. Despite its looks, the head-like appendage on its body is only a sensory organ; it is key to take this into account when engaging the Grappler-class, as just destroying the appendage will not kill it.


Destroyer-class BETA Impestusis: Arma duras "Ruitare":
At 16.0 meters tall, the Destroyer-class is the second strain of the BETA's main force against mechanized forces. They have extremely tough frontal armor, with hardness 15 on the Mohs scale in front. Underneath that covering are two small heads. As such, it takes a ridiculously large amount of ammunition to break through from the front, well beyond what is acceptable for to expend during an engagement on just a single target. In addition, their armor boasts a regeneration ability described as "phenomenal"; while not viable during the heat of combat, this means that a Destroyer-class left alive will someday return to plague its opponents again. The patterns on its shell are scars caused by tissue regeneration; a new Destroyer-class typically has an unblemished green front. The armor on their foreheads is used as a weapon when they ram into enemies, and such attacks are more powerful than the Grappler-class' arms as the Ruitare can reach running speeds of up to 170km/h. However, their speed prevents them from turning quickly, giving those who manage to maneuver out of the way an easy kill; even 20mm cannons work if the Destroyer-class is shot at from behind.


Fort-class BETA Pergrandium: tria corpus "Gravis": Towering above most things on the battlefield, the Fort-class at 66.0 meters tall is the largest of the seven strains; because of their large size, conventional warfare would require 120mm cannons or higher to cut these behemoths down to size, with great care given to specifically target its joints or other weak points for maximum stopping power. Otherwise, the next option would be artillery, or battleship cannons. Their attacks with their ten legs are extremely powerful, and can easily stab through or bash a building into pieces with one hit. Each Fort-class also has a 50-meter long tentacle attached to its rear end, with a Mohs 15 stinger on the end which secretes an extremely strong acid; the stinger, which has been known to destroy naval warships, can be launched as a projectile for a short distance or even swung around with a fairly high degree of control - a Gravis is capable of accurately attacking targets to the side or even behind itself without hitting its own legs or body segments. They can also carry several smaller BETA of varying strains inside them; so you should pay extra attention when around the corpse of a Fort-class (especially during the messy aftermaths of a large battle), as its occupants might be alive and well, waiting for a chance to strike.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: Yashiro was created. She was created as part of a plan to create a 'Perfect Mech.' That's what the officials say at least. However, Yashiro had... one big problem. She could not see anyone. She could feel doctors' cold hands feel around her, but she could not see them. She could not hear them. She could not smell (nor taste) them. It wasn't long before the doctors and scientists when had designed her decided that she was a defective product. However, that's when they started to notice strange creatures appearing around their base. It took a while to defeat any of them, and their numbers increased day-by-day. It turns out these creatures... these beasts of destruction were being created by Yashiro. The base commander, Jerzy Sandek, took the young girl under his protection to get her examined. It turned out that she was inadvertently creating these creatures, and that became a decisive weapon for Jerzy.

Yashiro essentially lived to eventually be used as a weapon. She was allowed to roam around, but her powers were sealed while she was out of the testing range. She could summon them only in small amounts at first, but the military training slowly allowed her to summon more and more until she could have an army of them in no time. And no matter how many were killed, there was no end to them. That's when Jerzy's scientists realized that it may be more like Yashiro was allowing them into our world and not creating them. That made them even scarier... because where were they coming from?

However, funding soon stopped on keeping Yashiro as a military project. However, Jerzy saw the potential she had. So, he let her stay. He wrote on a chalkboard to her to relay what he needed to say. He did not care if she left, or if she died. She was a card he could play. She was a card he could replace. She was nothing special, it was what she could do that was special. Jerzy could easily find someone more talented than Yashiro... or even create someone that was. It didn't matter to him, she was nothing more than a pawn. And that is why Yashiro is still around today. She still walks around the base and the town around the base to see what it's like.
