Personality: What much is there to say about a seven year old girl? What much is there to say about any person under the age of thirteen?! Mina is really just a normal child. Besides the recent bullying that has gone on at school, she's pretty much happy. She doesn't have any friends at the moment and prefers keeping to herself if someone is just going to pick on her. Besides that, Mina really is a sweet little girl. She's got a creative streak and really enjoys drawing, but the way she passes her time is reading books she got from the library. She has a good imagination and likes pretending to be a princess when she gets the chance. Mina is curious about where her Mom is or if she actually even has a Mom, but is scared to ask about it. She absolutely adores her Daddy and loves it when he comes home, makes her food, and takes her to and from school. One thing she likes saying to people who are mean to her "My Daddy is a police officer! You keep being mean to me and I'm gonna tell him to arrest you!" It usually works of course, but she's actually to nice to think of having someone taken to jail. If Mina gets mad, she cries. She doesn't yell or get violent towards anyone, she just cries and clenches her fists really tightly. To sum the child up, she's a nice girl, is constantly picked on, and now prefers to be away from people because she assumes that they're going to pick on her.

Background: Mina was born a healthy baby to a mother she never knew and a Father that she has grown to adore. There isn't much to say for someone Mina's age. She went through her baby years and started school around three, which is actually a year early. By this time, she was potty trained, walking, talking, counting, and beginning to learn to read and write. She moved through school quite happily, without being bullied, and with a lot of friends. Most of the kids at her school knew her, so she's pretty popular. Everyone, including the teachers, always calls her nice or a 'sweet child'. The only time things began to go wrong was in second grade. It was Bring Your Parents To School Day and it was the firs time that Mina ever really noticed... She didn't have a Mom. All the other kids had a Mommy, why not her? She wanted to ask her Daddy, but she always felt very nervous about it, so she never did. That was when Mina's life began secretly falling apart. She told her friends that she didn't know why she didn't have a Mommy and like children do, they turned on her. They called her a "freak" because apparently it was usually the Dad who left the family behind, not the Mom. She was called worthless and one student even asked her "What is the matter with you? Something big must be wrong because Mommy's don't usually leave. You're so weird your Mommy left." That destroyed Mina. Since then, she's grown slightly quiet and weak hearted. She keeps a smile on her face to make sure her hard working Dad doesn't know how sad she is, but it's slowly messing with the young child's mind. Because of everything that has gone on, Mina has started staying in the classrooms, library, or sitting off to the side during recesses and lunch. She doesn't really talk to the other kids because they shun her when she tries. Luckily, they haven't gone to any more serious bullying attempts, otherwise things might have gotten bad.

Mina has the ability to connect with nature, manipulate it, and react with it. Because of her age and how new she is to her power, Mina does not have very much control. She says that she can "play" with the plants, but what she is really doing is accelerating the growth, connecting with the plant, and manipulating it to her will. At the moment, Mina can only make nature react to her in very small ways, unless she's feeling strong emotion. Because her power is more of a 'connection' with nature, not just control, it can and will react to what she needs. As an example, if these kids at school who bully her are chasing her through a park, the roots of a tree will react by coming up and tripping these kids or even grabbing them to keep them from catching her. Most of the time the reactions are completely defensive and harmless, but it doesn't frighten Mina to know that one day she might hurt someone.
