Name: Michiru Takenada

Appearance Age: 25
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 125
Appearance: Personality: "Achieve your mission with all your might, despair not until your last breath, make your death count!""It's more important to keep those still alive from being killed, than to mourn the deaths of those who have died."The first thing people will get to know about Michiru is the fact that she is strict, doesn't take anyone's shit, and likes things to be kept in order. All of this is obviously because of her military background. And that would be the second thing that people would need to understand about Michiru; she is a retired member of the ESF's Special Operations Force. She has done and seen things that not many people can relate to. Michiru is quite punctual, always being on time and expecting everyone else to do the very same. If she is constantly giving her students enough courtesy to be on time every day before that damn bell rings, they should be in their seats when it does. And that is the third thing that needs to be understood about Michiru, she is a teacher. Behind that natural beauty is a fierce and highly intelligent woman. After being forced to end the front-line combat based part of her career, Michiru was asked to train the new recruits since she was refusing to be forced into early retirement. Because of the years she spent training people, she discovered a side of herself that she hadn't known before hand; she loved teaching. As much as she loves being in the military and fighting in battle, she loved teaching just as much, if not more. The problem is, she has come to teach her students in the same manner that she taught her soldiers. Over time, she loosened up a bit, but she is still known as "Drill Sergeant" by the other teachers and most of her students. Sure, there are a few people who are okay with her methods. She was even told once that they were "happy to see a teacher whipping the kids into shape", since so many children have turned into little pain-in-the-asses.
Michiru is not as weak and defenseless as she looks. A young woman with little to no muscle on first glance is often mistaken for weak. Not only is she strong in body, but she's strong and powerful in mind as well. There was an instant with a student challenging her, so she took him on and without even using extra ability she took him out. She shows no mercy to those who challenge her. If she is in any position of authority, she will demand the respect she deserves from both her subordinates and superiors. She will definitely respect her superiors, and will give respect to those below her that she feels deserve it. It's not that Michiru won't or refuses to respect people that don't deserve it, it's that she mentally just can't do it. There is something in her mind blocking her from giving respect to an asshole superior. She will merely follow the rules that support them, nothing more. Beyond her strict and Drill Sergeant ways, Michiru can be a fun and nice person to be around. If you've got her respect, you'll be one to see this side of her. She's cheerful and enjoyable to be around. A big thing that really defines who Michiru is, is the fact that she has this strong determination to make sure her death counts. She doesn't want to die of old age or sickness. She doesn't want to get jumped in an alley and killed by mugging. No. Michiru wants her death to mean something. This doesn't mean she wants to die. She just knows that it will happen one day, so she wants it to be worth it. If she's going to go out, she's going to go out in style or with a bang. She prefers the idea of dying in combat, war, or going out while protecting someone that she loves.
Character Background: Michiru was born in the year 2030 to a loving Mother and Father who were both very dedicated to their suggested military branches. She was raised a military daughter and grew up to love the military as well. Both her Mother and Father were killed in action, but because of how she was raised, she understood the dangers of battle and what their jobs were. She accepted their deaths as they wanted her to, but that does not mean she did not cry her eyes out at the loss of the two people she was closest to. When she grew into an adult (18 years old), Michiru did exactly as was expected of her and joined up. Three years later, normal military branches became a thing of the past and she chose to enlist in the ESF's Special Operations Force. There she went on missions that would be considered too difficult or dangerous for 'normal' soldiers. It was a good thing that her body and mind were already trained in the manner she needed them to be, because she watched a few other people break down under the pressure and fear of death. On one mission, she was selected as her teams leader and were told to go in, destroy an enemy base, and get out before the enemy caught on to what they were doing. Unfortunately, someone had leaked information to the enemy, or they had a spy and they were pulled into a trap. Her entire team panicked and were taken down quite easily, leaving only her alive. She was able to get out through helicopter extraction, but was injured when she got shot in the left leg. The bullet hit nothing that wouldn't heal correctly, but the loss of her men was worse than the injury herself. Even though she had no idea that they were being lead into a trap, Michiru felt it was her fault that they were killed. She couldn't control her men and get them out of there on time, so they died. For her, that moment was one of the first feelings ever. Because of that, she refused to take on any more missions with her as team leader and asked that someone else take the job, though she would still follow them into battle.
After some time passed, another mission came about that everything seemed to go wrong. It was all a mess. Three of her men, including their leader were taken out. Everyone began panicking, so she was forced to take lead. She ordered them through a thick forest and out onto the beach where the rendezvous point was. That one mission boosted her confidence because if it was not for her, she and the rest of her team likely would have been taken out along with the rest. The problem came when once again she had lost friends. For a few days, she avoided people and denied work. She was spiraling into depression until a friend and superior came to her with some advice.
"It's more important to keep those still alive from being killed, than to mourn the deaths of those who have died... You did everything right and because of you, and you only... the others made it out alive." Michiru thought about if for some time and felt so much better. She was then sent out on another mission, this time she took on the leader position. They went out to retrieve an expensive item that was dropped into enemy territory by fluke. They moved across a forest again. They got to the item without any problem at all, but had been spotted by enemy sniper. Michiru was shot in the shoulder when a bullet hit her subordinates armor and ricocheted to her. She began leading her troops out, hurrying back to the beach. Soldiers began catching up, so they were forced to hide. One of her men began panicking, freaking out about the idea of dying and would not stop. After getting sick of it, Michiru grabbed him and shook him harshly.
"You will achieve your mission with all of your might, soldier! Despair not until your last breath, and if you're going to die then make your death count!" she said to them, to all of them, not just him. Her words hit them all and they were fired up. Soon, they charged and every one of them took down their enemy and made it out alive.
(2085) Michiru was injured, she was getting 'old', and that is what they decided to blame it on. She was fifty five years old, but she still had some fight left in her! They disagreed. Soon, she was informed that they wanted to force her into early retirement, afraid that the injury she received might get her and more men killed. She fought back, but lost. Then, she came up with a compromise. She didn't want to leave active duty. She brought up the idea of training new recruits. After some convincing, they agreed to allow her to continue on for another ten years before they did end up forcing an early retirement on her. She hadn't seen serious combat in quite a long time, so she mellowed out about it over the time she was training new recruits. She had even trained a young woman named Misae Munakata. She was a kind girl and the two of them ended up being friends. Of course, they moved on and separated from each other when Michiru retired, but she is someone that Michiru remembers and would have no problem seeing again. Now, Michiru is going to go for a new job as a teacher of young people with gifted powers, such as herself. Soon after, she did start her new career as a teacher at Hephaestus Academy, but the lack of a Principal bothered her. There was no one there to guide the kids, so she offered herself up for the job and was gladly accepted as the new Principal. Sure, it wasn't the Headmaster spot, but Michiru felt that the students needed someone to actually be around more often, so taking up the spot wasn't bad. Michiru now does this and continues on as a normal teacher.
Natural Abilities
Natural Abilities: Knowledge of/Skill With Guns: Michiru's knowledge and skill with guns in general is not easily surpassed. Not only can she recognize most older and modern guns at first glance, but she can take them a part and put them back together. From greatest and worst in terms of skill, she'd tell you handgun, smg, assault, sniper, shotguns, LMG. LMG's are her worst because they're harder to move and a bit heavier. Yeah, sure, she can use them pretty well, but they're not her favorites. She prefers to be more light on her feet. She uses shot guns when she's wanting to destroy, sniper rifles she has amazing aim with, assault rifles allow for high damage and longer range so she loves them, smg's are actually her favorite to use, and handguns she has the most skill with. Michiru's overall skill with these weapons is classified as average and
higher. She's a good aim in the sense that, not only does she hit her target, she doesn't need to hesitate to do so. She can line up a shot quickly and accurately without any problems at all because she is able to listen.
Enhanced Hearing: One thing about Michiru's service in the ESF, she volunteered for a surgery that implanted a device in her ear that allowed her to pick up the quietest sounds. It also allows her to pick up sounds at extremely far distances. This is one of the reasons that she is able to 'hear' where her opponents are. This is also why it is stupid to try and cheat on a test, insult her under your breath, or anything along those lines when it comes to her students at Hephaestus Academy.
Physical Ability: Because of her training, her body has become a fighting machine. Though she seems to have little to no muscle on her form, hitting her is like striking a steel wall. Not only will she likely not budge, it won't hurt. Michiru's body is not easily harmed. Other than that, Michiru's got a hell of a lot of strength behind her. Sure, she's not strong enough to pick up a damn car or punch through a brick wall, but she isn't one of the girls who needs help carrying something around. She can easily do it herself and more. Getting punched by her, if she's just putting half of her strength into it will likely break a person's jaw. Lastly is how quickly she is able to move. She is very quick on her feet and this falls under a few things; speed, flexibility, and reflexes. Her training has gotten all of these to a point that she really can be proud of. She's not 'spiritually enhanced fast', but she can keep up with a track star with heavy equipment on her and going up through mountains, just imagine her running normally! She's flexible enough that she's impressed mastered Yoga practitioners with the way she moves her body. And her reflexes are naturally on par with all of these. How else do you think she was able to survive battle?
Qi Abilities
Type: Jìnéng [internal]
Appearance change: None.
Abilities: All of Michiru's abilities revolve around the fact that she can generate electricity within her own body and then expelling it. The electricity she expels she is able to manipulate and bend to her will.
Minor Electricity Effects: Just to get the small basics out of the way, because she is able to generate her own electricity, Michiru will never really need a battery. If the electricity goes out, she can power her own house for a good five hours before even feeling tired, just by walking around. She also has the ability to send a small zap into a person if she chooses to. It's not dangerous or fatal in any way shape or form. It merely zaps them enough to get their attention. If she chooses, she can up the voltage a bit, but it still won't be enough to kill them, merely cause a red spot over the zapped area. Moving on to a larger scale, mostly used on unruly students, Michiru can direct electricity through objects and towards a students desk, causing a shock through them and their body. This is really only done if someone was caught cheating or misbehaving in class.
Raikō Kōgeki: (Lightning Strike) Exactly how the title sounds, Michiru generates electricity and sends it to the tip of her finger or into the palm of her hand, depending on the size she wishes to create, and then shoots the electricity off towards a target. It moves at the exact speed that you'd see lightning move and disappears just as quickly, the downside being the 1 second charge up warning time. This can be used twice per post.
Raikō Rensa: (Lightning Chain) This ability starts up the same way that the one stated previously does. Once it's shot off, it is a rope of electricity that acts in the manner of a whip and is also used in this manner. Whether Michiru is wrapping it around someone, or swinging it back and forth to strike her opponent, it is used in the same manner that someone would see a normal whip being used. This can be used once per post and lasts for three rounds if the spell is not broken.
Denki Teikō: (Electrical Resistance) As the name sounds, this is Michiru's resistance to her own element. She is not easily damaged by electricity or lightning based attacks at all. She has a 90% resistance to electrical based attacks, and at times can actually choose to absorb the attack to either heal her injuries or regain 5% of her energy to once again generate more electricity. Absorption of either kind can be done once per thread.
Dankōyō: (Bullet Enhancement) Along with her skill with a gun comes this; Michiru's ability to enhance her guns and the bullets within them to move at 50% higher speed and then send a burst of concentrated electricity into whatever it impacts. There are two types of these, all of them moving with the extra speed. The first of these explodes with electrical energy on impact, causing whatever it hits to explode, splatter, or break apart. The second is allowing extreme piercing methods, allowing the bullet to pierce solid steel that is a foot thick and still having enough force to hit the target behind. She can enhance a total of fifty of her bullets per thread.
Human Rail Gun: Michiru generates the electricity within her body until it hits a certain peak, which really does not take very long at all. She then expels a small amount of it over her skin, allowing it to become visible all over her body. Once she does this, she takes any metal object and manipulates the electric field around it. By manipulating the fields around parts of her body to react in the manner needed, she shoots the piece of metal towards a target. Michiru has the ability to create this effect using her own body; currently in two ways. The first way is a small 'rail gun' effect that is used between her index and middle finger. The second is between both of her arms. With the second, she holds both of her arms out in front of her, aiming the projectile in the manner. Because of the amount of force that this effect has, when she uses this second method, Michiru must enhance the muscles in her body. If she doesn't, her body will end up taking a massive amounts of damage, sending her flying, or even tearing her body apart.
