Personality: A child. A child of horror. Senka is pure to the point of being a devil. She runs on instincts and not on knowledge. Not that she's stupid. For someone of her age to survive as long as she did—she's rather smart. Not book-smart. However, she can survive in situations some soldiers even couldn't. She isn't afraid to skin small animals most girls her age would find cute. She's splashed around in blood, so she isn't squeamish. She's also handled organs, making her braver than most men. Senka possibly could even kill someone and not feel remorse. Not because she's apathetic... but because she simply wouldn't understand. And thus, she's still a child. Senka still likes to see people in mascot costumes. She still wants to ride the big rides but is too afraid to. She likes picture books and still believes in Santa. She doesn't take criticism well and is prone to crying. She's also impressed greatly by technology, and if someone can show her something new and shiny, it'd probably have her attention for days. She dislikes card games and board games, but she loves marbles. She always has a small sack full of the tiny spheres, many of them crimson. As evidence by her powers, Senka also is not someone fond of the daytime. She only attends night classes, and she sleeps in a room with no windows whatsoever. Senka also does not travel much, as most travels would take more than a night.

Natural Abilities: Senka is from a family of Romanian vampire-like beings. However, they're slightly different from other beings of the same vein. She has no augmented strength. She can't turn into a bat. Instead of drinking the blood for a thirst—Senka has no natural blood of her own (although this does also satisfy her thirst). Instead of drinking milk from her mother's breast, she would have bitten down and drank her mother's blood. A full intake lasts just under 30 days. Her ancestors could only drink the blood of virgins, but her family has adapted over the years. Senka can drink everything but fish blood for example. Even if it has preservatives, she can drink it. Because she has no natural blood flow, Senka is more prone to bleed out. However, if she drinks someone else with vampiric blood, then Senka goes on an uncontrollable rampage until she drinks non-vampiric blood. She also can't turn someone into a vampire—she can only create another vampire by giving birth to one... although she's about 10 years too young (vampires of her kind don't become potent until around age 20). Senka also has a hard time seeing in daylight. Even dull daylight is blinding to her. Another interesting fact is that their bodies do not decompose after dying. This makes taxidermy a popular ancestral memento.

Abilities:

Darkness Sign "Dark Side of the Moon": (闇符「ダークサイドオブムーン」) Dark Side of the Moon is an ability to keep Senka safe. She creates a sphere of darkness around her. She normally keeps it up, as it has no real defenses. People who touched it have said it feels like Jell-o. A strong poke won't pop it, but cutting it with a sword or the like can and will. Unless Senka allows you in (or you get caught up in the summoning), it's impossible to enter. If it's cut, it just disappears. It can grow (currently) to 5 meters wide. For every meter it takes up outside, it is 5 meters inside. Normally, Senka has it two meters wide, meaning inside it is 10 meters. It is also not a sphere inside. Instead, it is more like a cube. Senka says the sphere shape is only so she can move around. Senka can bring in furniture if she wishes. The sphere can't be in the sun for too long or else it dissipates. Senka can keep the sphere up for 20 posts or only 2 posts in the sun.

Darkness Sign "Demarcation": (闇符「ディマーケイション」) Demarcation allows Senka to turn off all lights inside her sphere. It is impossible to see in there. All other senses work, but even Senka can not see inside her sphere. It can only be used for four posts with a single post recharge.

Character Background: Senka was born in a castle overlooking a Romanian village where the sun would shine on it for only a few hours per year. The mountains and trees kept it shielded. It was perfect for her. She does not remember her name that her father gave her—her mother died during childbirth. As someone whose subspecies would be called a vampire, she could not go outside. Villagers would skewer her to protect themselves. Her father kept her safe... until he died after being pinned down by a fallen cabinet. Senka was old enough to crawl at this point. Senka did not die. Senka's instincts caused her to drink her father's blood. He was a large man, and thus she was able to stay alive for more than a year on just that. By the time of his blood being drained, Senka was able to walk and grab things. She drank the blood of small animals, and she was sustained like that. She learned how to make fire and how to read by books in her father's study. She eventually learned to make traps and trapped larger animals. And it was with their life that she learned that there was something about the world around her that she could "control." She created these black spheres and learned to play her own version of marbles with them.

Senka was able to sustain herself until she was eight, when the Earth Sphere Federation appeared to install a mirror system to give light to the village. They inspected the castle and found Senka, who tried to attack them. If it weren't for the fact these soldiers were armed with tranquilizers instead of bullets, Senka would have died then and there. Because she had an innate ability to control Qi, she was sent to an ESF-sanction "foster care facility." She was sent to Hephaestus Academy. Her legal guardian was not one person, but the group of teachers. However, she was much younger than the rest of the academy. Senka still attends the academy. Because she only came out at night, she is seen as the "vampire phantom" of the academy.
