Personality: Elena quite often goes by the name of Ellie. Elena was the name of her grandmother and the two of them haven't gotten along in quite a long time, so she prefers Ellie. Ellie has two sides to her that she lets out quite often. One side of her is in the air flying  a plane. While doing this she's brutal, ruthless, and will take down her target without a second thought. She's extremely precise, fast, and observant. This is why she is very intimidating in the air. Once she sets her mind to take out a target, she'll do it. While she's flying a plane, not many people have the courage to stand in her way. Now, the moment she steps out of her plane people are met with a completely different person. The aggressive and brutal part of her seemingly vanishes and she puts on a sweet smile. On the ground she's very kind and wants to be everyone's friend. She's loyal, honest, compassionate, and understanding. She always has a smile on her face and this smile she keeps is quite infectious. She has the ability to lift the moods and hearts of other people, and she enjoys making someone who is sad or upset about something feel better. If she sees someone is having a bad day or anything along those lines, she's the type to go out of her way to see what the problem is and try and help. Of course this means she knows her boundaries. There are just some thing people need to deal with on their own, so if she comes across a situation like that she'll know when to just back off. A few noticeable traits about Ellie is the fact that she has a love for anything fluffy! So puppies, kittens, rabbits, or any other small fluffy animal that you can think of she'll become excited about. She fears anything with scales and also has a fear of elevators. She won't enter one. She feels that she is not the one in control of the machine and that it could fall at any second. She would seriously leave the house an hour early if she had to climb to the twentieth floor using the stairs instead of the amount of fear she feels inside of an elevator. It's just not something she can handle.

Character Background: Elena, commonly and preferably known as Ellie, was way to young to remember what happened to her Mother and Father. She was told that they were killed, but even that has yet to be proven. Her grandmother is a very secretive woman and no matter how much she would ask the answer was always the same; they're dead leave it be. At times Ellie wonders whether this is true or not, but it had to be sense they never showed up in her life. All the way through High School Ellie's grandmother Elena, whom she was obviously named after, treated her horribly. She was rarely allowed to leave the house, so she didn't have many friends outside of school. The friends she did have she couldn't see unless they were in class, so that made things hard on her. The moment she graduated, her grandmother attempted to force her into the family business, but after becoming sick of the old woman's attitude towards her, she up and ran away to join the military. She signed up for the Air Force and began her training. At first she thought she was just going to be one of the 'behind the scene' general staff type members, but after studying more and seeing what the positions had to offer, she realized she had a real liking of the idea of flying. She signed up for the needed courses and soon began her simulations, which she shockingly passed the first time she ever tried. From what she had been told, most people actually crash and burn the first time, but she had a natural talent for it. When the simulations got more advanced, people noticed the aggressive tendencies in the air and, even though they weren't always by the book, the way she maneuvered was actually rather intimidating.

After her training was up, she was immediately sent out on her first mission. She was ordered to take out a base that was proven to hold weapons that were stolen from the military and that it was held by a group of rebels against the ESF. Needless to say, she went in and wiped them all out! Her mission was a success and she was complimented on her precision. She was asked by many people why she was so brutal while flying her jet, but she had no idea that was what they were seeing. Something about being in the jet made her feel free, powerful, and in control. It was all her in that plane and she loved it. She did as she was told, when she was told, but did it in her own way. After a few more missions and a conversation with her superiors, she was quickly promoted to the ranking of Sergeant. And now that she's settled down away from the terror that is her grandmother, Ellie has a good time being around the people that she shares a similar interest with. One thing that Ellie has noticed, even though she is kind to people and they seem to like her, she has not been able to gain a single 'friend'. She has acquaintances and people she can hold a short conversation with, but she doesn't have anyone to hang out with, or confide in, and has become rather lonely over time. The only time she feels any different is when she is in the air, except in one case. When she was twenty two years of age, Ellie was taking the elevator of a building almost to the very top of a skyscraper. She was not expecting it to happen, but when she was making her way back down with a group of people, including a child, the cable broke and the elevator began to fall. She and these people screamed in horror as they felt themselves falling over twenty stories until suddenly it came to a stop. When she got out, she was in a panic attack and ever since then she has not been able to handle the very idea of being in an elevator...


Natural Abilities:

Exceptional Fighter Pilot: Flying came completely natural to Ellie and with a bit of practice she has become one of the most intimidating pilots out there. She's very accurate and maneuvers very well in a plane, some would even say she's better in the air than she is on the ground. Though at the same time people note how brutal she can be as well. She doesn't take her time and doesn't usually assess the situation for any ways out. In a plane, in her mind, it is kill or be killed, so getting in her way is not the best idea. This does not mean she would fire at her allies if they got in the way, no. This merely means that with how good she is, do not expect her to cower out. If someone is trying to play chicken in the sky, she will win or crash into your ass trying. Ellie also knows her plane from the inside out, so even the slightest noise difference will alert her to the possibility of danger or malfunction.
