"I will watch. I will wait. And when the time comes, I will strike." Basics
Name: Abraham Kurtarici
Codename: Hephaestus
ALIAS: Samuel Hannigan
True Age: 100
Appearance Age: 27
Gender: Male
Personality: Abraham believes that he is 'The One'. In his mind, there is nobody else like him in the world, and he believes that he is the being who will usher in a new age for humanity; revered as its God. As such, every plan that he sets in motion is pointed in the direction of advancing humanity one step at a time. He created Hephaestus for this reason, bringing together like-minded men and women as their leader, preparing everything for the stage to be set. His ambitions often overtake his intelligence, and he realizes that he needs help to get what he wants--he is not above silencing his helpers, however. If anybody gets ambitions to surpass him, they will be executed by his hand. If anybody tries to argue that he is no Messiah, they will be executed by his hand. He is a cruel tyrant, running his organization with an iron fist; in the hopes that it will all be fruitful and benefit humanity as a whole. Quite obviously, he is not religious.
He says that he has the best interests of humanity at heart--but he is really a Xenophobe who wants to see humanity on top. The decision to allow nonhumans into his school was not his own; but he has accepted that it is a requirement for him to understand his enemy, and further develop his own ideas around giving the world the power to fight back. He will mercilessly kill those of other races that will get in his way--he has hidden Hephaestus to disappear from their eyes--but he will always hesitate in killing humans with potential, instead attempting to give them a second chance at life before they die. He claims to only want to see humanity stronger, but his personal God Complex is really not that well-hidden when he isn't acting as the 'Kind Teacher'.
Yes, the 'Kind Teacher'. In order to keep an eye on the students of Hephaestus, Abraham has created this persona. If a student, no matter the race, were to go up to him and ask for help, he would not hesitate in giving them the help that they need. He is great at what he does, and teaches with the best of his ability and gusto. He acts as a very knowledgeable man, and almost always has a smile on his face around his students. He realizes that some students actually have crushes on him, and is very polite when he rejects them. He helps out in everyday duties, and doesn't even drop the act around the other teachers. His favorite food is sashimi. He makes sure to read Jump every month, and really likes comedy manga. He averages 4 hours of sleep every night. If his students are in danger, he will be the first to leap in and save them. Of course, he is constantly planning and plotting--but he really makes a good actor when it counts.

Natural Abilities
Natural Abilities: Highly Strategic Mind: If you're attempting to think one step ahead of Abraham, it is likely that he's already thought at least two steps ahead of that one step. He plays his moves like a game of Chess, attempting to outwit and outmaneuver his opponents as quickly as possible. However, this mind comes with a rather debilitating weak point--he is
very conventional, and assumes his opponents to be as such. Strange and unexpected plays will easily get past his planning, until he plans around that plan. And then it is simply a game of planning around plans that have been planned around the planned plans.
Crack Shot with Pistols: Abraham has been trained with his own twin pistols for as long as he can recall. From the moment he picked them up, he felt that they were going to be the weapons at his side, and he has developed his own offensive powers around them. He can pick out and hit a mosquito at 50 yards. Of course, this makes close-combat his one true weakness. As such, he aims to take down his opponents from a distance before they can close the gap.
Stupidly Charismatic: Do you think it's
easy, effectively creating a religion around oneself without being able to convince people that you are their Messiah? Well, yeah, if you're Abraham. Capable of convincing even large groups of his own prowess, he uses this charisma in battle in order to try and force his opponents to give up, or at least force weakness out of them. This charisma also contributes to his act as a teacher at Hephaestus. If he's called out and can't prove that the other is a liar, he can't really win anyone back, however.
Qi Abilities
Type: Jineng
Appearance change: Read below.
Abilities: Blank Slate: Abraham has a body that is suited for taking on new things. It adapts easily to given situations, and as such can take on new powers at pretty much any given moment. Unfortunately, it is the transference of power to body that is the difficult part--and the one that has given him the most trouble in situations such as this. There has been a specific machine built that combines the power of a sample human with his own power and creates a serum which he can inject himself with. Once he has injected this serum into his body, he gains their powers--every one of them which he can use without conditions--at their level. This is a temporary thing, lasting for three rounds per serum usage. The serum itself is highly addictive and messes with Abraham's mind, so he tries not to use it too often. He is currently searching for a workaround. He cannot have more than one serum active in his body at the same time, or they will clash and deal some real harm to him. As well as this comes the stipulation stated earlier: It requires a sample of the power from someone else, which means taking a rather large blood sample. Not everyone likes to part with their blood willingly, and it's also a game of making sure that only a few students--and the right students--are taken to prevent suspicion and addiction.
Past & Roleplay Sample
Character Background: Apparently, Abraham Kurtarici has always been destined for greatness. His parents saw it, his teachers, his peers, everyone saw it in him and tried to have it exemplified at every turn. A lot of children would turn away from this, shy away from the stress, but not Abraham. No, he instead decided that it was in his best interests to take this and expand on it. To plan, and plan within those plans. Even while young he found himself to be at the top of every class. While some students dismissed him, others followed him. He had an unnatural charisma that they couldn't quite surpass, and so a lot of people followed his words with a listening ear. But this wasn't enough--by the age of fifteen, Abraham had developed a full-on God Complex, and was completely prepared to kill to keep his power. His first murder was in the same year, and it was a rather simple murder. One person--one measly person--had spoken out against him. Three days later, nothing happened. Three weeks later, however, a tyre on his parents' car blew out just as they were to cross a bridge. There were no survivors, and nobody else spoke out against Abraham in their school.
The bodies continued to pile up whenever there were problems, yet no fingers were ever pointed at Abraham. He continued to keep his hands clean, and people still flocked to him as their new Messiah. By the age of eighteen, he had completely taken them all in. He took on a new moniker: Hephaestus. Eventually, he found that it was not enough. He took a select few students, leading them to create an association that he would name after himself, each other member being given a codename. They were to follow him as he saw fit, and they were happy to accept that occurrence. They started small, creating a business to be able to earn money. As money was earned, they started to expand their influence and power. It is reported that, by the year 2035, Hephaestus Holdings had the largest net worth in the world. In 2033, however, they had started on a new project--an Academy for powered students. While Abraham never gave his reasoning for wanting to make this Academy, it was pretty obvious to those who knew him: Children were the future. If one could command an army of brainwashed, powered humans, then they would have an army that could justifiably take over the world. He'd never mention that to anyone else, however. The rest of Abraham's history is largely unknown: records show that naysayers would simply vanish. But he continues to plot.
