Powerless Human Template
Basics
Name: Kitai Boido
True Age: 17 years of age.
Gender: Male.
Personality: Hopeful
Despite everything else, he is a very hopeful person. He always believes that a way out can be found, that a solution can be reached, that giving up is the absolute worst possible choice. As such, he never gives up, even when faced with extreme odds. If asked, in fact, he will say that his abivility to stay positive is his one redeeming trait.
Focus
However, due to his past, he is able to focus to levels beyond those of a normal everyday human. He can quickly gauge a situation from appearances as well as deduce what must be done to reach a solution. In addition, his reaction times are higher than most, but he has a bad tendency to get distracted by significant or personal things while he is trying to focus.
Self-Dependent
A quality of himself that he hasn't quite realized yet is the fact that he is very much self-dependent. Without anyone by his side, he can be very effective, performing jobs by himself and surviving alone for times that would break normal men. His tolerance for working without support means that when he does get support, he's not always sure how to best utilize it or what should be done to utilize it best.
Trusting
However, perhaps his greatest strength and greatest flaw is his innocent trusting ability. He will trust anyone until given a reason not to; if he bleieves someone is a good person, it is very difficult for him to shake that thought without some serious evidence. On the otherhand, theis trait has antoher side as well. If his trust is broken, it becomes immensely difficult to be able to get back. While he is a free giver of it, he will not just be stepped all over; he does ralizie that much if nothing else.
Intelligent
Also despite his appearances, he has quite powerful deductive and logical skills. His personality does not seem like the type but he is in reality a very deep thinker. This is why he is good at solving problems and has so much hope; because he believes that he is able to get out of situation if he uses his mind and thinks all the way through it.
Overall, Kitai is a very relaxed person. He doesn't normally rush things, he can get excited, and his basic personality is that of a cheerful, average teenager. In fact, he slightly has an average complex, believing that he really does not posses any significant skills of value. HE speaks plainly, although he may occasionally use slang. His body will tense up when serious, and he will respond normally as a human to most situations. However, there are some things within his psyche, "triggers", that he can't shake off.
1. When he first sees a dead body, he will faint.
2. When he first develops feelings for a person, he will have a mind splitting headache.
3. When he first loses a limb, he will be consumed in a rage that will not dispel for a day.
4. When his body first reaches over 600 mph, he will become like a drunken person for an hour.

For some unfathomable reason, he wears a shirt under a hoodie under a jacket. Yeah, he's kind of a complicated guy. The reason for this is that his skin is hyper sensitive, able to feel even the climate change without his hoodie on and will begin to shiver and shake when the temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This is one of the weaknesses of his hypersensitivity, as attacks that involve cold or cold things paralyze him like no other.

Can See Spirits: No
Past & Roleplay SampleCharacter Background: Amnesia
He has legitimate medical amnesia. He cannot remember his past until a year ago; and even then his memories for the first six months after that are decidedly foggy. He didn't even remember his own name, meaning that he had to give himself some title, which led to him determining that his name would be "Hopeful Void", showing that even though his past was hollow,
He was a child soldier. However, he was a most certainly strange choice for a child soldier. Where he was located his parents were missionaries, trying to assist the native peoples. However, eventually they got caught up in the war between the rebels and the federal forces. As a result, both of his parents wer killed in front of him as he attempted to escape.
This led to the walking. He walked, and walked, and walked. Slowly, his spirit became broken. He became unable to maintain himself any longer, and when he came to a federally controlled area, he was called to fight. The soldiers there taught him to fight, taught him to survive and most of all, taught him to hate. So he did hate. He hated with a passion. He killed, he killed and killed. He killed and killed and killed and killed for over two years, growing up into a young man through war, and all the terrible parts of it, the drug abuse, the obsession with violence, and the inability to care for the feelings of most others.
Eventually, the federal forces called back all the child soldiers, every one of them, from pressure of outside nations influence upon them. While there, he was taken to a very special room. Without knowing what was going on, every single piece of his memories was extracted from his skull. He was left with none of the memories of the war, none of the memories of his parents, none of the memories of his name, none of the memories of the hatred or loves or emotions or addictions or anything. He had nothing any longer in his mind, he was totally blank, a blank slate.
He obviously did not belong in this country, as his skin was very different than the native peoples, and so he was deported to Japan. Upon arrival he slowly began to come back to consciousness, his memories had been completely sealed within his brain with the experimental technology, leaving him just as he was. When he awoke, he awoke in a strange apartment, with instructions to where his workplace was, in addition to a notice that he would be given no further assistance or explanation, telling him that to have defense he should use the pistol provided, little known to him given as a present of his old Sargent.
Completely barren of memories and experiences now, he has sice lived in an attempt to gain back what he has lost, for his mind was returned to that of which he was before he entered the war, soft, innocent, and most of all, with hope.
Roleplay Sample: His steps slowly walked across the concrete, his hands in his coat pockets as the breeze blew through his brown hair. His eyes remained locked straight ahead, unwavering in their gaze as he continued staring forwards.
...What do I do. He thought simply, letting out a sigh.
I'm left to my own mind… without any idea where I'm going… He continued to think, as he slowly raised his gaze upwards looking straight ahead.
But I still have hope… He thought brightly, which resluted in him keeping up his pace.
He was going to his work, to his job; to the location that had been specified on the piece of paper. When he arrived, he found himself before a great factory, his mouth left partly open as he looked upwards at it, beholding it. He walked inside its front gate, showing it the ID Card that he had been given. That was all that they had shown him, but it was a start. When he got inside, he was indicated by a burly man what his work was to be, and so he craked his neck and got on with it. It was strange; he didn't question the lot that he had been given in life, he had merely accepted it and moved on. He was very resilient in this manner; and as such the line that he worked for at the factory approved of him and decided to keep him.
His relief to know that he would have stability was enough. His mind thought logically for a moment after having finished his work; he knew that now, he had the basics of survival. He could now build up, and that caused him to smile a little bit. It meant that he could keep progressing. He could keep moving forwards and having his life become better and better. He had the feeling of one who is certain of his future. He had a feeling that was none other than Hope.
