| The East is the Sugiura's capital. And despite being the most populated and known area of the Sugiura, the East is actually the smallest. It resembles an Edo-era Japan in the center, but it slowly turns into a Chinese-like landscape the farther east one goes. Most of the residents here are Asiatic people, with a few immigrants from the West. The architecture does not indicate the technology level of this land. They are quite technologically ahead of the Soul Society in some aspects, though you won't find anything like cybernetic enhancements here. Outside of the capital, there are few large cities. The landscape is, however, dotted with many small villages. Most of it is forest, with mountains on the northern border. There are a few lakes and streams as well. The West's capital resembles that of a Medieval Europe. The farther west one travels, the more ancient and Middle Eastern it becomes. There are castles dotted across the land and small villages occasionally. There are many cobblestone paths, and few tightly-built communities rather than many spread-apart communities. However, the Western capitol is quite far away from the East-West border, and is actually closer to the West-North border. The West is slightly larger than the East, though it is still dwarfed by the North and South. The majority of the West is hills and mountains. There are many large lakes and a few wide rivers. However, near the South-West southwest border, there is a desert. Most of the residents are Germanic, with the far West being Arabic mainly. Moderators: Moderators, Administrators
| 0 | 0 | | | The North is, simply, the military capital of the Sugiura. The North is not ruled by a clan, nor does it fall under anarchy or local rule. Shimura, the former Sugiura queen and founder, is the one that has the power over these lands. There is no territory on the ground one could even fathom as being hospitable. Temperatures either in the extreme negatives or so hot lead starts to melt vary throughout the North's immense territory. Only one shred of flat land exists, and that's the sea floor in the frozen Great Sea. It borders the East and West with a tall mountainous ridgeline that in itself is nigh-impossible to cross. Once over, there is nowhere but sheer torture to go on the ground. In order for the Northern people to survive, they began to notice floating chunks of land from when the North was still hospitable and the ground was still there. Magnetism, ambient reiatsu and reishi, as well as gravity all allowed for pieces of land the sizes of states to float into the air. The North is heavily dependent on Shimura, to the extent they could be called a communist dictatorship. The North is very technologically advanced and is not afraid to show it. It is said the best warriors and weapons come from the North. The original owners of this world, the Guardian Beasts, reside here, some being humanoid, others being literal beasts, some with intellect, some without. A Sugiura can set out into these lands to get their own Guardian Beast partner once they are strong enough. Moderators: Moderators, Administrators Mac Anu | 1 | 14 | Wed Dec 25, 2013 2:24 pm Silim |
