Personality: Rudolf is... essentially an enigma. Not in the sense that no one knows what's going on with him and he's crazy, but in the sense in that no one knows why, how, or even when he joined the Ordinea de Viata. It's almost as if he just showed up out of the blue one day and started attending meetings and gaining trust. He has an intimidating figure that rarely changes, so he's always the one that sticks out. With his position, that's what he wants. He wants to discourage all those around him from betraying this organization that he has sworn his life to. He holds no mercy for traitors, no tolerance for traitorous thoughts, and definitely no room for jokes about betraying Lilith or whoever is in charge. The fact is that Rudolf doesn't have loyalty to Lilith per se. He moreso has loyalty to the organization, but will protect whoever is in charge with his life. He's fittingly known as "Guard Dog."

The man rarely speaks. He never will go on long monologues. He'd rather just gesture if he does need to communicate, namely for the sake of silence. Although he doesn't work in the shadows nor is he stealthy, Rudolf does enjoy the stillness after he has dealt with a rouge Sōnansha. The iron-filled air is enough for him to stop and actually enjoy something. Although he does not smile when he is enjoying it. But to him, it's his prize for completing a job. He can sleep anywhere for any time no matter how cold, rainy, hot, snowy, windy. He could be in a sandstorm and still sleep for however long he needs to be. And he has trained his body to always notice when his hat is on. When it's removed, he wakes up immediately.

It is not his duty to question orders. This isn't some naive "A soldier's duty is to do what he's told" crap, this is full-blown loyalty. He'll never question his superiors, even if he was told to put a bullet in his head and die then and there. He's a guard dog. He's an executioner. Eventually, his power will be replaced by someone more powerful. He has no morality because of this. There is no "good" or "evil," only orders. If he is ever ordered to hunt down a human, he will give them one minute to pray to whatever deity they believe in before he completes the mission. With Sōnansha, he gives them no such treatment. He was once ordered to answer why he did that. His reply was probably one of the longest things he's said: "Only humans can fear death because of the unknown. We know the unknown, so there is no pity to be found."

Appearance: Rudolf is... very intimidating, even for a Sōnansha. He still wears his uniform from his SS days, which consists of a M42 Greatcoat with its neckguard constantly turned up and an M43 officer's cap emblazoned with the Totenkopf symbol. Underneath this is an extremely well-toned body. He could crush a man's skull between his thighs they're so ripped.



Appearance Age: Hard to say when all you see are those piercing scarlet eyes. Without any concealment, he looks to be in his mid-20s.

Natural Abilities:
Mauser C96 "Sweeper": Originally, the Mauser C96 had a 140 mm (5.5 in) barrel, and the short-barreled "Bolo" version was 99 mm (3.9 in). Well, Rudolf's version is a tiny bit longer at 812mm (32 inches). Rudolf carries two of these "Sweepers." They are called as such as a derivation of the C96's original nickname of "Broomhandle." The C96 was produced by German arms manufacturer Mauser from 1896 to 1937; a very popular pistol, approximately 1 million of them were manufactured by Mauser, as well as replicas manufactured by China and Spain. It's distinctive for its grip shaped like the handle of a broom, (hence its nickname) the box magazine placed in front of the trigger, and a detachable wooden shoulder stock which can double as a holster or carrying case. With its shoulder stock, long barrel, and high-velocity cartridge, the Mauser C96 had superior range and better penetration than most other standard pistols of its day; the 7.63x25mm Mauser cartridge was the highest velocity commercially manufactured pistol cartridge in existence until the advent of the .357 Magnum cartridge in 1935. The pistol uses either a 7.63x25mm round. It came in 6-, 10-, and 20-round integral or detachable magazines; 40-round detachable magazines were also made. It has a short recoil action and has a muzzle velocity of 425 m/s (1,394 ft/s). It is considered effective in a range from 150-200m. There is also a select-fire that allows the C96 to be either semi-automatic or fully-automatic. The fully-automatic version is exceptionally handy when dealing with Sōnansha with regeneration. The lengthy barrels also allow Rudolf to be able to do a point-blank execution while being out of arm's reach.

Expert Boxer: Rudolf has no need for fancy moves. He won't do some crouching-dragon-hidden-tortoise kick like out of a movie. He'll just punch you. If he's blocked, then he's blocked. Doesn't mean it won't fucking hurt, though. With his body weight and muscles, blocking generally means broken bones. He's also taken enough beatings to be used as a moving training dummy for some of the newer Sōnansha that want some physical training. His kicks can go through reinforced concrete, although there might be rebar sticking out of his leg. He can fire large-caliber weapons like anti-tank or anti-material rifles with little problem.

Speed: Rudolf is surprisingly nimble for his size. This is mainly due to him being a blood-powered Sōnansha, but he's capable of keeping up with Sōnansha who should logically be able to run circles around him. Though to be precise, it's not fully speed. It's that his long legs carry him a greater distance and he's able to cast off with much more force.



Sōnansha Generation: C (4)
Inherited Abilities:
Sounmortality: This is a form of immortality. It freezes the person's age at the time they were turned. Because of this, Lilith harshly enforces a law that states “No human under the age of 13 is allowed to be turned”. Not having this ability makes it where a Sōnansha ages as a normal human would.

Regeneration: A Sōnansha has no ability to regenerate while they are in the sun, but once encased in darkness, they have the ability to completely regenerate any lost part of their bodies. (This excludes any of their Affinity that they need to take in again). Being stabbed by anything through the heart halts all of the regeneration process, no matter in the sun or in utter darkness. To kill a Sōnansha, you rip their bodies apart and burn them to ash. Once ash, nothing can be undone. | This is Rudolf's strongest natural ability. He's more than capable of regeneration whose speed can startle even older Sōnansha.

Shape Shifting: Allows the person to transform their body into another object or person. Having this ability allows the Sōnansha to see if what they are looking at is real or not. If another is changing their appearance in any way, they will be able to tell that it is happening. | Rudolf uses this to disguise his face if it is ever revealed in combat, leaving people to never see his true face.

Men'eki: (Immunity) Sōnansha are not all immune to human diseases and illnesses. This ability is what allows a Sōnansha to not contract a disease, which is very helpful if you're of Blood Affinity. This also is what allows a Sōnansha to walk around during the day. If a Sōnansha does not have this ability, they will be injured upon being exposed to sunlight/fire/bright electric lights (light bulbs, lamps).

Seimei no Honō: Blut Vollmond
Seimei no Honō Appearance: If you count turning into a goddamn fucking werewolf as an appearance change, then yes he does change appearance. He also grows to about 9 feet in height.

Seimei no Honō Abilities:
Sturm Wulf: The most interesting ability of Blut Vollmund is Sturm Wulf. This allows Rudolf to turn into a mist-like form. It has the head of a wolf, but it is still mist. This allows him to avoid damage from physical and smaller energy attacks. Larger energy attacks that can completely engulf his body will still hurt him and force him out of Sturm Wolf, but that's about it. However, he also can't attack with this active, meaning that the perfect way to strike is when he is attacking.

Himmel Wulf: Himmel Wulf is the enhancement of his legs. It's not an ability, but just something natural that came with the Seimei no Honō. He can jump across rivers and through forests at incredible speeds.

Eisen Wulf: Eisen Wulf describes how his claws are. They're like knives. They're hard to break and constantly sharp. Rudolf can parry swords with them. He can also extend them to be about a foot long.

König Wulf: If this bastard howls, it's not a good thing for some people. This is because anything wolf-like simply will not attack him. Why? This howl is him asserting himself as the alpha male. And with the way it works, canines simply do not have enough balls to challenge him. Rudolf, when he howls, literally becomes the King Wolf. He can only howl once per thread.

Character Background: Rudolf was born in a bad time. It shaped his views and ruined his life. Rudolf was one of the many children born in Berlin in 1921. He forgot his actual birthday as it has no meaning to him anymore. His mother was a housewife and his father a retired army man. Rudolf grew up listening to his father's war stories and was entranced by how grand they sounded. When the Deutsches Jungvolk section of the Hitlerjugend was formed, Rudolf was the first in his neighborhood to sign up. This was a mistake he never regretted. As part of the program, Rudolf was trained to be a soldier and an ideal man. It was even better that at this time he still had blond hair.

When Rudolf turned 17, he enlisted into the Wehrmacht. However, he was selected to join the SS instead. Of course, he had been trained for this and he was elated that such a thing had been bestowed upon him. In the next few years, he became less elated about anything. Because of his smarts for the time, as well as his loyalty, he was placed into the now-infamous 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler. Rudolf was stationed in the cold Ardennes forest, near Malmedy in Belgium. In late 1943, things went bad. Rudolf was put under the command of Joachim Peiper. Soon after, Rudolf was forced to help massacre 80 American POWs. As Peiper fell back under the orders of the Führer, more massacres happened. A total of 362 POWs and 111 civilians were all killed point-blank.

Before he could be part of another massacre, Rudolf was transferred to another division as it retreated. His hair had turned silver from stress. His commanding officer, Friedrich Hartig, was no ordinary man. He'd keep getting women from the villages and taking them to his tent where they'd emerge looking sickly. While delivering a report to Friedrich, Rudolf interrupted what he was doing. The commanding officer was biting their necks, much like a... vampire. In a frency, Friedrich charged at Rudolf. However, Rudolf was quick enough to put a few bullets into Friedrich... but it was for naught as the Sōnansha bit him, ending Rudolf's normal life.

As the other soldiers heard gunshots, they rushed in and fired on Rudolf. He fled into the Ardennes. He spent the next 24 hours in great pain and agony as he slowly turned into one of them. He could not return to Germany, nor to anywhere else... so he began a long trek in the wilderness. He crossed Europe and Asia, going through Russia, based on nothing but passing stories of a "lair of blood-sucking creatures" in the arctic. He didn't know where, but he just kept walking. He killed bears, wolves, people, and anything else that got in his way. He'd drink blood when he needed to and kept a gaze as cold as the landscape he traveled through. He eventually reached the coast... and bought a boat from a local fisherman. He sailed across the ocean to reach what had just become Alaska. He spent another 30 years listening to stories and finding the lair. As he tried to enter, someone came running out as if they were being chased. And they were. They had just been found guilty of turning a girl around the age of eight into a Sōnansha.

That person thought Rudolf was one of them, so he attacked the former Nazi. Having killed bears bare-handedly, this coward was no problem to handle. When the other Sōnansha found that coward's body... only his lower jaw was still attached. And the coward had even stupidly left a map of how to navigate the tunnels inside the cavern, which Rudolf took. When he reached the main gate to the lair, someone asked "Who the fuckin' hell 're you?" Rudolf replied simply "A former dog of the military." As that guard could tell that he was also a Sounsha, he let the man in. Rudolf blended in somewhat. He blended in the sense that people could tell he was an outsider, but not when he came into the picture first.
