A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Jin-Pristina_zps1ef67fd2

“I need you to bring my daughter back to me. Kill that wretched man and bring her back. That is all I ask. I will pay anything.”

The location, classified. The target, classified. The payment, over three hundred thousand in British pounds. There was no way in hell Jin was going to turn down this job. All she had to do is take out some male and escort a child back to her client. It was going to be easy. Jin arrived on the outskirts of the house at a little before eleven at night. All seemed to be quiet. You'd think a place like this would have more guarding it, but nope. There were two guards at the gate and from what she could see, nothing more. Climbing through the trees, jumping limb to limb, Jin was making her way towards the front gate. Her final limb and she leaped into the air, making about thirty feet high before landing without mercy on the shoulders of the first guard. He was crushed and killed on impact. The second attempted to yell out, but she darted to his side, placed a hand over his mouth and bit harshly down on his neck. He attempted to fight against her, but she would not budge. After drinking what she wanted, she dropped his body there and turned towards the house. Licking her lips to pick up a final trickle of blood, she hopped over the seven foot brick fence and landed on the other side quietly. Glancing to the left, she saw nothing. Glancing to the right, nothing. For the moment she was home free. She darted forward towards the front door, at the same time creating a layout of the front in her mind for future reference. As she came to the front, she did not hit the door, but instead climbed up a few columns on the porch without any trouble at all. She made it to a balcony above and then ran along the railing and hopped over the rest of the house and into the back yard. Yes, she can do that. Landing silently, she pretty much crawled around along the ground until she came to a low window that obviously lead to the basement. She glanced inside and noted it to be locked.

She punched through the window and unlocked it. Immediately an alarm sounded and the lights of the house turned on, but she still did not hesitate to slither inside. No one was in this room, so she made her way to the door, and pulled out her customized pistol. Checking how many bullets she had, she confirmed it was full and then tapped the other she had on her waist. She opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. She was met with a guard telling her to freeze, but she didn't hesitate to put the gun to his head and pull the trigger. The man's entire head blew clean off and his body fell to the floor. She continued on, coming to different rooms and kicking the doors in over and over again, until she finally came to one. Curious, she stepped in slowly, her heel boots clicking on the tile below. There was a young girl sitting in this seriously small room. She was just sitting there in the middle of the room. She was obviously undernourished and looked sickly. Sure, that was the first thing she noticed, at least until a horrid smell hit her nose. Jin glanced over to a corner and immediately figured out that she had no real facilities to use the restroom. Looking back to the child, Jin merely stared at her, listening for anyone who was getting closer. So far, she heard nothing on this floor or close to the entrance on the next, but knew they were on their way from the few footsteps she heard coming her way.

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Sphtev

By now, she had gotten used to the torture. Each day she was fed twice: at exactly 12am, and at exactly 12pm. There would be no changes in schedule--Master did not believe in Daylight Savings, so he did not allow it to change in this house. Because of this, she had gotten very good at telling the time, simply by how her stomach was feeling. He had made sure to feed her before she completely ate herself alive, but the pain she felt every day was completely real. Not only that, but the pain she had coming from her body was real as well. She could do nothing. She was weak. She was in pain. She was completely helpless, and merely watched as an observer to her own body. Master had used to do tests every so often, but he had been doing them less and less since the incident. Her entire body shivered as it recalled the sensations, the pain, the forced pleasure... every single moment of it... until Master spoke the words that signified her utter uselessness to him.

"She can't reproduce. I have a perfect subject, but she can't reproduce! This is a failure... a total loss. Lock the door. Keep feeding her. I'll work out what to do with her soon." That was a couple of months ago. She had been laying like this, unable to do anything in hunger, for the past two months--not sure what to do with herself. She wanted to die, but he wouldn't let her. The smell from the corner of the room lingered--but she had no choice, she was still human and had human functions. But it seemed that the world hated her. The world would, for lack of a better statement, defy her expectations. Master wanted her to remain alive for some godforsaken reason. Mother hated her. The servants were afraid of her. Her blonde hair was around her ankles now, having grown out over the past years. She wore a bloodstained gown, had it changed every week. She just wanted to be free... but freedom wouldn't ever come, would it? She had no tears left to cry.

Suddenly, a sound. Strange... there should be no servants for another half hour--yes, her body told her that there was an hour until dinner was supposed to occur. She looked up at the door, before recoiling in fright at the sound of the alarm. Nobody got this far in! There were armed guards around the house and everything, right? At that moment, Lucia felt scared--but... what if this could give her liberty? Eyes that had been listless and dead gained a very tiny glimmer of hope for the future, but she tried not to let it get to her.

And then the door opened.

She looked up, wondering if it was Master coming to take her away. That wasn't Master. It was a beautiful woman, one that didn't seem much older than she was. She had the image of a snake, coiled to eat away at its prey. Underneath the harsh lights of her cell, this woman seemed to be a dark angel. That image would be imprinted in her mind for years to come. "A..." Speaking was hard. "Are you here..." Her voice was barely above a whisper, "T-to k-kill me? O-or.." Seriously, speaking was not the easiest thing right now. "To bring me away from this place?"

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Jin-Pristina_zps1ef67fd2

Jin stood in silence, still listening to the approaching footsteps. They were heading down the stairs and to her area now. She could hear the voices. As she looked at this girl, Jin took note of how pathetic she looked. Weak in body, thin, her hair was not taken care of, she needed a shower, and her clothes were dirty. Jin usually would not have cared about what she saw and just did her job, but something about this was too cruel for her to even stomach. It was obvious by the description that this was the young woman that she was to escort back. They really had tortured her; that man was no Father. In a way, this situation reminded her of her own past; how the man that supposedly love her was going to use their daughter to gain power. Disgusting. Frankly, this one actually hit home. Jin listened to the girl speak so weakly to her, but she got no reply. Instead, Jin's attention went towards the people now coming down an adjacent hall. The moment they turned the corner and saw this door open, the fight would break out. Quickly coming up with her own plan of action, she narrowed her eyes at this young woman, though it was not because of her. She placed her finger over her lips, telling her to stay silent, and then began backing out of the room. The moment she got out into the hallway, she held up one finger towards the girl. Not even a second later, Jin darted down the alley way and grabbed onto the barrel of a shotgun before the person holding it even had time to turn the corner. "Wh-What?!" she heard him say as she stepped around the corner and into the sight of five guards and a man in a suit. Target acquired. "What are you men doing?! Kill her!" the suit said and the four began firing off their weapons. Unfortunately for them, by the time they pulled the trigger, Jin had leaped into the air over them. She landed behind them, in between them and the suit. "H-How? Kill her!!" the suit yelled, but the men hesitated. Firing at her now would mean firing at him as well and they weren't sure whether to do that or not. Jin of course took advantage of this hesitation and grabbed her second pistol. She brought it out and put both to the chest of two different guards. She fired, and blew their chests out, sending their bodied flying back and blood splattering everywhere.

"Y-You're a monster!" the suit said behind her as he turned towards the stares and ran off. Jin ignored him for the moment. He wasn't going to get very far. But this meant the others were going to open fire, and they did. They were pretty much standing in a line; the final three. The closest one to her attempted to pull out his pistol, but tossed one of her guns into the air, grabbed his wrist and flipped him over his shoulder. Once he landed, she caught her pistol, and shot the one on the ground in the head. At this time, another put a shotgun to her back, but the moment she felt it, she moved to the side. The man fired and managed to get the top part of her left shoulder. She hissed in pain, turning towards him and sending a back hook kick towards head. Her heel caught his head and she forced him to the floor, stabbing the heel of her boot through his esophagus. The next one, the last one of the five was young. He was shaking in his boots. This entire time he could have shot her, but hesitated out of fear. She looked up to him with a piercing glare, causing him to panic and pull the trigger. The bullet hit her stomach, she looked down to it, and then back up to him. Jin then darted forward grabbing onto the young man's head and dragging him towards the far wall. She slammed his head against it, crushing it on impact and then let his body drop. It was at that moment that she heard some type of ringing and realized a certain person was calling out somewhere. It didn't take her long. She ran towards the man and over heard his conversation. "We can't let her take Lucia! She's the closest thing we have to a perfect human. We have to use the girl's DNA for the next one! Send someone! Send them fast!" the suit said and then hung up the phone. When he turned around, Jin was right in his face, looking at him with absolutely no emotion on her face. "Wh-What.. are you going to do to me?" he asked and Jin raised her pistol just a bit to shoot him in the shin. He fell, yelling out in pain. Jin grabbed him by his hair and began dragging him back towards a certain young woman, ignoring his pleas for mercy.

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Sphtev

This woman had a particularly dark aura about her. It wasn't evil like the aura that Master gave off, but it wasn't a clean and pure aura either--she was no Angel, this one. At the same time, however, this 20-year old Lucia saw something in that woman that quite possibly no other person would ever have the chance to see. Emotion. Feeling. Even if it wasn't showing on her face, Lucia saw it deep in her eyes--hidden away from the world for nobody to see. Breathing heavily as the woman told her to stay silent, Lucia watched her leave the room with quiet concentration. What was she going to do? Was she going to find Master and kill him? But... why did she get to do that? For that moment, Lucia felt something different--she felt jealousy. She felt like she should be the one to kill Master. She felt like she should be the one to claim victory. She wanted that monster gone, and after everything he'd done to her? She deserved the right to pull the trigger. Slowly, but surely, Lucia staggered to her feet. Her muscles had atrophied and she fell onto a knee, but still Lucia would continue to try and stand. Her breathing was ragged and painful, and her body was finally starting to give out--she would have to eat soon--but it was enough for her to be able to see hope for the future. She didn't quite understand why she knew, but she did. She knew this woman would bring her back from the brink. She knew that this woman would be her saving grace. She just did.

Gunshots gave her a fright, almost causing her to fall down once more. The sounds of weapons firing and screams of men gave her a rather clear image of what was going on. That woman was winning. She heard the Head Guard scream out about wanting her dead, and then she heard others scream in pain. And then, a familiar voice came into the fray. One that elicited another emotion from the weak youth. Hatred. Disgust. Murderous intent. Her breathing was raspy and her voice escaped her lips. "Michael... I.. I... will kill you." Finally, her back straightened and she stood up upon her own strength. The shaking of her form was obvious, and her body was still weaker than a young child; but she would stand up on her own two legs. She almost fell again, planting a hand on the wall beside her in order to keep herself stabilized. Her body continued to shake, but she stared at the door with newfound courage. The sounds, however... they weren't cruel sounds. They were pleas for mercy. They were asking for mercy! That man was asking... Lucia swallowed back bile as he was dragged into the room with a gunshot wound in his knee.

"L-Lucia? Why are you standing? Sit down this instant!" His orders were not heard by the girl, who started to slowly walk out into the hall and past him. Her steps were staggered, and it took thirty seconds for her to even cover two steps each time. He could be heard behind her, and the fear was obvious in his voice. "A-are you afraid... f-father?" She didn't know what this newcomer was going to do to Michael, but she had to get there first. Bloody corpses lay near the room, and the shining of metal was the first thing that caught Lucia's eye. Picking up a shotgun from the ground, Lucia felt the weight in her arms and swallowed once more. She had to do this. "Lucia! Where are you going? Come back and help your father! I love you, child!" Yeah, right. Slowly limping back to the room, Lucia looked down at the man with eyes as cold as they are blue.

"You... love me?" She almost had to laugh at that, "Wasn't I... just an experiment to you? A s-subject? I was... never your daughter. You took my happiness... you took my innocence... you took my virginity. I shall take the only thing of yours that you haven't discarded yet." The fear in his eyes was palpable. He shat himself. This was a dream, he kept thinking to himself. He was having a nightmare, and at any moment he would wake up. The barrel of the weapon was pointed at his forehead, and Lucia's finger hovered over the trigger, and she spoke words that shook at his very core. "Goodnight, Michael. The next time you wake up, you will no longer be human. You will be a piece of meat, subject to my every whim. Goodnight, Michael. I'll see you in the morning." And then, she pulled the trigger.

Click. What? No ammo...? Sigh.

Lucia fell to her knees, and stared at the man who seemed to have suddenly claimed a glimmer of hope. No hope for him. Raising the weapon high into the air, Lucia swung it down with as much force as she could gather. The first hit broke his nose. After she felt it hit bone, she continued to methodically raise it into the air and drop it as hard as she could. Each hit continued to further break his face, causing blood to drip down as an indent created itself further.

Crunch. He was still alive, but he could no longer scream.

Crunch. His breathing patterns were ragged.

Crack. His skull broke in half, and finally he would die. But she would not stop. Tears rolled down her face, and Lucia screamed away the life that she had lived, but she would not stop. Death was too good for him. He would be tried by the Devil. He would have Demons feast upon his bones... and she would finally be free of him. With a shout of rage, Lucia let the last hit land. In layman's terms, his head exploded into pieces. Finally, she realized what she had done. Finally... Lucia let herself go. "I need... food. Please... get me something to eat..." Her consciousness fading, she fell to the ground in a faint. By tomorrow, this would just be a distant memory... right?

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Jin-Pristina_zps1ef67fd2

The moment the young blonde woman came into view, Jin dropped the bastard on his face. She could tell what was about to be done and for some reason, though it's against her code, she was going to allow it. She was going to allow someone else to do part of her job for her. Jin listened to the conversation between these two, standing off to the side as the girl came towards him with a gun. To make sure she could get him good in her weakened state, Jin once again grabbed the pathetic piece of trash by his hair and lifted him to his knees. With ease, she held him out to her, but as the girl went to fire all that came was the sound of an empty gun. No ammo. The soldiers had used it all trying to get her. The girl fell to her knees while Jin still held him up, but the moment Jin saw her take hold of the gun the way she did, she kicked the bastards feet out from under him and let go of his hair. Right as the girl swung the gun down, his head hit floor, only to be instantly hit again by the gun. Jin stood there watching this girl brutally murder her Father by slamming the end of a heavy shotgun into his head. Allowing this, Jin watched this man die by his daughters hands and then watched as she continued hitting him over and over again. Finally, the girl stopped and seemed to snap back into reality, but her first words were ordering Jin around? Seriously? This girl had to be crazy to think that she could tell a cold hearted killer to go get her something to eat. She had been kind enough for the day.

Narrowing her eyes slightly at the tired young woman, she reached out and grabbed her by the back of her dress. Lifting her up, Jin quite carelessly tossed her over her shoulder and began walking towards a room. She looked inside and saw that it was exactly what she had been looking for, predictable. She stepped over to a chair and sat the girl down on it, not exactly being gentle and began rummaging through a file cabinet. She opened her cloak and placed about six files that had the name "Lucia" on them and tossed them into a large cloak pocket, zipping it up. Once she did that, she grabbed a laptop that sat on the desk and tossed it into another large pocket on the other side of the cloak. Turning back to Lucia, she pointed towards the door. At this point, the woman could either walk on her own or be carried, of course this was because she was unaware of the fact that the woman needed to eat or would likely die soon.

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Sphtev

Movement and light broke through her closed eyes, threatening to wake her up if she didn't do so herself. She didn't want to, but she was starting to feel hungry again--and sleeping wasn't exactly her thing. Slowly opening her eyes, she realized that she was sitting in Michael's study. Had she been carried here? She groaned quietly as her eyes opened fully, looking around with a strange expression. Her stomach was killing her now, and if she didn't get something to eat it would be literally doing so as well. "Nngh... were you sent by mother?" No, that was impossible. There was no way that her mother would still be alive. Getting to her feet with shaky steps, Lucia slowly made an attempt to walk across the room. She looked quietly at the woman with frightened and starving eyes. She'd only seen the layout of the house once, but it was more than she needed to get around it. "I'll... just get my own food." The kitchen wasn't far from here, so she'd simply need to make the small trip. There would be something for her to eat in the kitchen, she was sure. Her bare feet felt the softness of the carpet below them, and she stumbled along the ground towards the room with determined eyes. Her sides would hit the walls in order to stop her from falling over, and every so often she came across a mirror and saw her blood-spattered self. "Heh... I did it."

She continued to wander towards the kitchen, finally passing through the door and dropping onto her side with a quiet groan. She closed her eyes, feeling weakened beyond the point of no return. "C'mon, Lucia... you can do this." She clambered to her feet, gripping the edge of the table and leaning over onto it. She coughed a few times, and looked over at the refrigerator with wonton eyes. Staggering over to it, she opened it with a sigh and looked inside. What to eat, what to eat...? Grabbing a couple of apples, Lucia sat down and started getting into the eating. Although she was weak, she ate with gusto--and loved every second. Having eating little more than gruel for the past few years, to have the pure sweet taste of apple on her tongue made her feel amazing. Reinvigorated. She would need more, though--as the first two apples were polished off within thirty seconds of their reaching her mouth. Standing up (with a bit more energy) she would reach into the freezer this time, and pull out a container of something. On the front read 'Cookies and Cream Ice Cream'. She blinked, and opened it up. This thing... it was completely new to her. Grabbing for a spoon, she sat with her back against a cupboard and started eating.

It was like an orgasm. It really was. The first taste was the sweetest, and every spoonful tasted better and better. Before she knew it, it was gone. The entire container. Her head hurt, but she felt great! She felt the best she'd felt in years! Standing up, she decided to go back to the study and find the woman. She moved quicker this time, her body already processing the energy and bringing her back. What was it she needed? Right. Standing by the doorway, she found that this woman had not actually left the study yet. "S-sorry.... needed food. Changes to body... mean I need 4-hourly meals and don't sleep. Haven't eaten for twelve hours. Could've died if left longer." Her breathing was heavy--partly because she still had brainfreeze--but she at least looked a little better.

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Jin-Pristina_zps1ef67fd2

Jin kept quiet and ignored the girls question before she left. When she did leave, Jin glared at her since her. This girl was starting to piss her off. She was lucky she's worth so much money at this point. A few minutes passed and she had gotten everything she needed and was ready to leave when she heard something. She began walking out the study when she saw the girl return. When the girl came back in, Jin stared at her as if she had gone crazy. The only reason Jin hadn't put a bullet through her head was because she was part of a mission. She was to be escorted by the woman that hired her on this job and that was that. She couldn't go wandering off like that. The girl's heavy breathing began drowning out the things she needed to listen to. It became irritating, so she darted forward and placed her hand over the girl's mouth. She glared angrily at her and then glanced off as if she were listening for something. Her eyes widened momentarily and she locked her left arm around the girl's waist before lifting her up and tossing holding her tightly. She darted out of the study and down the hallway until she came to a large window. That bastard had called in reinforcements before; she had almost forgotten about that. Now, holding tightly onto the blonde girl with one hell of an eating complex, Jin charged full speed at a large window down a long hallway. There was only one area surrounding the house that they had not occupied with guards and soldiers. What the hell was so important about this girl that they'd send an army out for her? Jin shot out the window right before they reached it and then made a full leap out of it, practically soaring through the air. She landed on the top of the fence, and then pushed herself into yet another leap before she landed about forty feet away from the fence and darted off into the darkness of the woods. She could hear where the soldiers were. They were still spreading out over the area and did have the ability to close in on them quite easily, especially if she weren't careful.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" Jin heard a soldier yell and glanced over to a man off in the distance, "I FOUND THE GIRL! SHE'S OVER HE-..." Sick of his voice, Jin raised the pistol that she had not yet put away to the man's head as she passed him by and blew his head clean off. Blood splattered everywhere as his body fell to the ground. Jin hoped by this time that the girl would realize that she wasn't going to hurt her and to just do as she said. Another soldier showed up, but this time with two extra men. They ordered her to stop, but Jin merely raised her pistol and fired at them. They were being too obvious. They didn't want to harm the girl, likely were ordered not to, so they weren't even attempting to fire at her. That is where they lost. The three men were taken down, one shot each, and Jin carried Lucia off into the forest, passing by an entire army that failed to catch the two of them.

Lucia received a sharp look. Was the stranger annoyed with her? Was the stranger, who had so simply killed her father's guards without a care, ready to kill her as well? She didn't want to die--especially not after discovering the marvel that was Cookies and Cream. Backing towards the door slightly, Lucia quietly stared at the woman in front of her. "Wha--" Her voice was cut short by the hand of the woman, who wrapped her other arm around her waist and darted off at speeds that were definitely not human. "H-hey, what are y--" The sound of a window breaking drowned out her voice as the woman jumped from the window, leaping high into the air. Lucia could only look down at the ground for about a second before they landed, running into the trees at the edge of the estate. A soldier tried to stop them and was silenced with a single gunshot. A few more showed up, and they were gunned down just as easily. It would be a headline for weeks--The murders at Durand Estate--and Lucia knew that things would be hairy.

But she didn't care. Right now, she didn't care that this woman had leapt out of a window from a high floor and gunned down four men in cold blood. That much didn't bother her. Right now, her biggest thought was of what she had just done, of what she had just witnessed... and of the fresh air blowing across her face. She was just happy to be free, and all of the scary things in this world were nothing compared to that overwhelming sense of freedom that Lucia felt right now. Eventually, the pair moved out of the forest and into the light. Looking down behind the mysterious woman, Lucia noticed a trail behind them--the dark colored liquid seemed to be escaping from a wound on her body. "You're injured..." She said, not thinking before she spoke again. What if this was the last straw?!

It didn't take very long at all for them to reach a good distance from the estate. In fact, they had reached ten miles out about three minutes after she had killed the last soldier. She kept moving, trying to get them both clear of any danger. The girl spoke out again, but this time was about her injury. Jin came to a sudden stop, sliding across the ground until she used a tree to stop herself. She set the girl down next to the tree and slid her pistol into it's harness on her hip. She suddenly slammed her fist against the trunk of the tree above the girl's head and tried catching her breath for a while. It was a bit harsh, and likely frightening to the girl, but it was how she quickly got irritation out. It was either that or punch her, and that would mean she wouldn't get paid. Taking in a deep, stressed breath, Jin slowly let it out and then looked to the girl. This was going to be odd to ask her to do, if you could call it asking, but it needed to be done if the girl wanted to survive the night. After staring blankly at her for a few moments, she suddenly opened her mouth and 'asked' her to do something. "I need you to pull the bullet out." Jin said, her voice was low, demanding, cold, and slightly dull. Taking a step back, she lifted her shirt to show a bullet wound that was not able to heal because the bullet was actually still inside. her other wound, the one made from the shot gun wound, had already stopped bleeding. This one, on the other hand, had not. She had been bleeding ever since the kid shot her down in that damn basement. She hadn't lost a ridiculous amount, but she was feeling the effects. She felt slightly light headed and needed to rest for a little while. "It's not deep. I just can't do it myself. Stick your finger in and you should immediately feel it. Don't worry about hurting me, I'll be fine." Jin really wasn't expecting her to say no. If she did, that would create a bit of a problem for the both of them. The more blood she lost, the weaker she became. The weaker she became, the more chances there would be for those bastards to come and actually be able to take her away. Jin kept her emotionless face the entire time, waiting to see what her decision would be. After what she did in that house, she doubted the girl would be squeamish.

"I need you to pull the bullet out." Lucia backed up slightly at this statement. The entire time that they'd been here, almost half an hour, and this was the first thing she said? If she didn't feel so damn weakened, she'd probably slap the woman silly--no, bad idea, she was a callous murderer with no regard for any life but her own. From what she could tell, her own life was only saved because this woman was ordered to. The files that she'd taken with 'Lucia' on them confirmed that further for the young woman, who wondered exactly who had wanted her father dead. Was it Mother? While she thought it was, Lucia was sure that her mother had been killed when she'd been taken away from the family home and forced to give her own daughter up. Then who? Was it the CEO? Was it the head of R&D? There were a lot of people who would be able to sell Lucia and the information on her genetic makeup for a lot of money, and the buyers would be endless. With a soft sigh, Lucia looked at Jin through cold blue eyes that were actually seeing the light for the first time. She bit her bottom lip, looking at the specific wound that Jin had pointed to. "You want me... to pull it out?"

"It's not deep. I just can't do it myself. Stick your finger in and you should immediately feel it. Don't worry about hurting me, I'll be fine." Lucia swallowed her bile back, trying not to vomit up the food that she had just experienced. That would be a bad idea, for sure. Looking at the hole, Lucia's blue eyes stared at the liquid pouring out. "W-well, I can try..." She had just killed her father, but that was in the heat of the moment! What was she supposed to do here? Grimacing slightly, she reached forwards and slid her finger inside the hole. Oh god it was squishy... She dug deeper into the warm red mess, biting her bottom lip as she explored the hole and searched for the metal slug. As she dug deeper, she felt her fingernail tap something solid and almost jumped. There it was! Trying not to damage Jin's internals too much more, she reached up with the slender finger and put it over the edge of the slug, pulling backwards with care. "It's coming..." She pulled a bit more, until the metal slug simply fell out of the hole and dropped to the ground with a clatter. Wiping her finger off on her clothing, Lucia shook her head. "You look like you're losing blood quite badly. I would've clot by now, I forget that some people don't have as much blood as I do," she furrowed her brow slightly, "Oh! It's... one of the things that my metabolism helps with. I produce about two times as much blood as a regular human does..." She smiled weakly, before turning away and looking back in the direction they'd come from (it wasn't hard to discern, as there was a trail of blood behind them). "Finally, I have hope again..."

Jin understood why one would be hesitant to do something like this, but it needed to be done. The girl reached out and did as she asked, fiddling around until she found the bullet casing. Each time she was forced to go deeper and deeper, Jin winced just a little bit. It wasn't always out of pain since she could handle pain easily, but more or less out of a weird feeling of having someone's finger stick inside her stomach. It wasn't something that anyone would likely be used to. Finally she was able to find the bullet and pulled it out. Jin could tell she was being careful too; whether it was for her own safety or Jin's, she didn't know. The bullet fell to the ground and Lucia immediately wiped her hand off. Lucia mentioned how much blood she was loosing and Jin looked down tot he wound, watching blood practically pouring out of her. "Hm." Jin thought as she reached back and pulled a large hood from the cloak she was wearing over her head. This covered most of her face. She then pulled the cloak closed so her body was encased in pure darkness. Jin closed her eyes, feeling the slight pain in her stomach fade away as her body began to regenerate right then and there. It was technically a minor wound, so she didn't have to worry too long. While regenerating, Jin listened to the stuff this woman said, hearing her final words about hope and actually turning her head to look at her. This girl had lost all hope while stuck in that hell hole and Jin had brought her out of it. Of course Jin wasn't exactly one to think that way. Frankly, it was her Mother, the woman who wanted Lucia back that did this. If it wasn't for the job, Lucia likely would have been dead or horribly sick in the next few months. Though, she did catch notice about this 'metabolism' thing. What exactly did she mean by that? Oh well, it wasn't any of her business. After probably three minutes of just standing there in silence, Jin felt that the wound had completely regenerated and dropped her hood off her her head. She opened the cloak and looked down to the wound to make sure and nodded to herself when she noticed it was indeed gone. Looking to the girl again, she motioned with her head for her to come along, "Come." Not a single person was heading in their direction from what she could smell and hear, so they were safe, luckily. They could take their time, which was good since after the amount of blood she lost, Jin noted herself to be at about 220.

Finally, they were away from those men of her Father's. Finally, she was free to live her own life. Placing her hands onto her hips, Lucia watched the blackness closing up, almost thanking the fact that it was pitch black that night. Softly biting her bottom lip, she moved her hands from her hips to her face, rubbing away the sweat that had built up over their escape. "It's strange, finally being free." She almost had to laugh at the feeling, closing her eyes and imagining exactly what the world was like, but she really couldn't. "It's going to be fun, I just know it."

Lucia was turned around while Jin inspected her wound, but responded to the motion behind her with little delay. "Come." Come. Alright, it was a singular word--but it had enough meaning that Lucia would respect it. Having seen what this woman could do, she felt that she had little choice. She was actually scared, truth be told. Scared that this girl would kill her with the twitch of a finger. Lucia knew that she was above-human, but that thing was... non-human. She swallowed a little bit, and approached Jin with a cautious eye. If she recalled, rescuing her was her job. Therefore, it should be fine... right? She smiled, nodded and followed after Jin with a smile. Time to be the right person for this. Time to finally live.

Jin was obviously not a talker. Her one word statements and short replies should have made that obvious to anyone. Telling Lucia to come, she made sure the girl followed closely. Jin was always on her guard and was able to sense whether people were coming or not. Luckily, they were not. It would have been hard for anyone to find them now. It was still dark, the forest was getting thicker, and it would be hard for most people to see. This is why Jin made sure Lucia stayed close. Whether or not the girl could see, it was the forest. Who knew what exactly was out here? There was no way Jin was going to fail her job because Lucia got too friendly with a wild "doggy". They walked in silence. Jin was calm and uncaring, though most would feel tense and nervous. After a while, probably thirty minutes or so, they came to a high way. Looking left and right, there were a large amount of cars just flying by. Jin winced at a few of the louder engines rushing passed them and narrowed her eyes to block out some of the light from the cars headlights. She waited for a while, but there didn't seem to be a break in traffic. "Annoying." she mumbled and looked to Lucia. Without warning, she grabbed onto the blue eyed woman and pulled her in. Tightening her grip around Lucia's waist, Jin bent her knees and leaped into the air. Practically clearing most of the highway, they landed on top of a small car with a loud bang. The driver instantly freaked out and began swerving, but Jin expected this and leaped off once more, this time landing on the other side of the highway. As she landed and let go of Lucia, "Come" was said once more. A loud screech, crash, and the honking of horns happened behind them, but Jin did not give half a damn.

Jin made sure Lucia ignored the accident by grabbing her lower arm and pulling her along, not wanting to deal with the probably "shouldn't we help them". She pulled her on for some time, of course not really pulling if she chose to just continue walking along with Jin, and then stopped. They stood in a dark area, the moonlight barely giving them enough light through the thick leaves of the forest trees. "We will be stopping at a rendezvous point in the city." she spoke bluntly and continued on. Not even three minutes later they made it through the forest and could see the city from there. "There you will meet my client and you will go with them. We have two hours to arrive, no more, no less. Understood?" Jin continued on walking and within ten minutes the two would make it into the city. Jin lifted her hood, and put it over her head. Since the hood was extended, it covered most of her face. She slid her hands into her pockets, continuing on through the city, glancing back every minute or two to make sure that Lucia was still there.

Right now... nothing was right. She knew that she was free from the clutches of her father, but she had to wonder what kind of desperation her mother had to be in to hire someone this unusual. Lucia herself knew that she was strange, but she was nothing compared to the unusual-ness of this young-looking woman. She swallowed back her fear and stayed close to Jin, knowing that as the forest grew darker, her sight range would decrease. It wasn't as bad for Lucia, but she still didn't process light as well as someone who truly had darkvision. She followed the sounds of Jin's footsteps, wincing occasionally at the sound of a wolf's howl, or a nearby breaking twig. Eventually, however, they came to a source of light and noise--a highway. She didn't know where they were, so she couldn't exactly place the name or what towns they would come close to. Instead, she simply followed Jin and stood next to her as cars blasted past them.

In what was seemingly less than a second, Lucia was picked up--she didn't scream this time. Instead she simply held on as she was carried over the highway by the strange woman. The sound of crunching metal caused her to wince--poor guy--but no more was spoken as they soared across to the other side. After being put down, the single word "come" was uttered to her once more. Ignoring the noise behind them, Lucia continued to follow with a sheepish expression. She wanted to help--but the grip on her arm and knowledge of this woman's power silenced her tongue.

Eventually, of course, they would find themselves in a clearing. Stopping for a moment, Lucia placed her hands on her knees and breathed out. She didn't know how long they'd been going for, though her stomach was calling for something else. She groaned at the pain but ignored it largely--if she could simply make it back, she could eat her heart out. "We will be stopping at a rendezvous point in the city." She nodded, slightly hunched over to suppress the pain of hunger. "You can do this." She stood up straight once more and followed after Jin to their destination.

After a few minutes, they would arrive at the outskirts of the city. She recalled Jin's timeframe--two hours, no more, no less. She didn't remember any streets, just knowing that she had to follow Jin was enough. Her bare feet pattered along the cold asphalt, Lucia keeping the dark figure in sight for as long as she could. She was cold. She was fatigued. She was starving. Even if she didn't need sleep, she still occasionally needed to rest and recuperate--this was probably one of those times. She would stand strong. She wouldn't let herself die down. She simply had to keep going.

"M-must... keep... g-going..." She staggered momentarily, catching herself on a lamppost with a yelp. This was harder than she expected it to be. But she couldn't stop now.

Jin could tell how hard it was for Lucia by the time they made it to the city. The woman was starving. She got hungry so quickly, even Jin didn't have to feed this quickly after losing the amount of blood she had. Of course, she could feed at practically any moment. In fact, they did just hit the city, right? Time to eat. Hearing a small yelp, Jin pivoted on a heel and turned towards Lucia, her hand coming to the woman's chest to help prevent her from falling over. "We will eat." Jin said and then glanced around, "Stay here." Jin's gaze came to a small stand that was selling food and hurried over to it. It was dark enough above the stand that a single leap had her hidden away. Peeking over the edge behind the man who was running it, she took notice of five pre-made sandwiches. Reaching back to her pistol, Jin brought it out and placed it against the back of the man's head before clearing her throat. "My companion has not eaten in days. I'd rather not spill blood, but if you refuse to hand over those sandwiches you got there.. you will die." Jin's understanding of Lucia's huge appetite was minor, but the woman obviously needed a lot. The man nervously packed up the sandwiches and went to look back, but Jin placed her gun harder against his head. "No. Stay looking forward and hand the bag back." Jin told him and he did as he was instructed, "Good." Without any hint that she was leaving, Jin vanished and soon reappeared in an alley near Lucia. "Hey... Come on." Jin said and motioned for her to follow into the alley. She held up the bag to Lucia, "Eat. I will re-..."

"Well what do we have here?" a masculine voice echoed from within the alley. "How cliche." Jin said and then turned to see three young men walking towards her. Jin looked them up and down as they came closer. "What are two little ladies like yourse-..." Once again there was no hesitation, she pulled out her gun and shot two in the head. The other attempted to run, but Jin suddenly 'appeared' in front of him. "Ahh! What ar-..." Jin grabbed him and slammed his body up against the wall, biting into his neck and drinking from him. Jin wasn't stupid. She didn't turn him, nor did she kill him. She drained him enough for him to shut up and then let him go. "Now remove yourself from my sight." Turning back towards Lucia, she glanced the young woman up and down. "Follow." she said and then began heading back towards the street. She wiped the small amount of blood from her face off and continued down towards the rendezvous point.

Ah, they would eat? Almost relishing in the confirmation that this was going to happen, Lucia steadied herself somewhat as she was told to wait for Jin's return. She nodded and tried to keep herself from falling over, watching the dark woman vanish deep into the even darker streets. With no idea what was going on, all Lucia could do was watch the lamp-lights and wonder what was going to happen to her. She wasn't sure how long it had been before Jin came back, but when she did she appeared to be holding a bag of sandwiches. Lucia questioned the sale of such foods at this time of night--but then realized that she had spent most of her life in isolation, so had no idea as to how the world worked. She laughed quietly to herself and followed Jin's lead, wandering weakly into the alleyway and sitting with her back against a cold stone wall. She took the bag and happily started to chow down on the food as if she hadn't had a proper meal in yea--oh, wait, she hadn't. The food went from the bag, to her mouth and down into her stomach in a manner of moments--if she had been paying attention, maybe she would've noticed the men. If she had been paying attention, she would have actually cared about the source of the gunshots killing two of them. If she had been paying attention, maybe she would've seen Jin feeding from one of the bodies of the men with little care for his life.

But, of course, she was too worried about her food. In the time it had taken Jin to dispatch the three men, Lucia had already completely obliterated all five sandwiches. It was a skill, y'know? Rubbing her belly at the feeling of being filled up with food, Lucia let out a long breath and looked up, scanning the alleyway for any signs of Jin. Oh, there she was. Already feeling the effects of the food in her systems, Lucia got to her feet (with a bit less shaking this time) and nodded in her direction. She hadn't even noticed the small amount of blood on the other's face. She was told to follow, so follow she did. Her feet pitter-pattered on the hard, cold pavement as they continued to walk, Lucia looking around for any other potential threats. Hunger was now the least of her issues--she should be good for a few more hours. Now, she simply needed to find her mother--and maybe not freeze to death out here. Yeah, that was a good idea.

And finally they had arrived with four minutes to spare. "We're early." Jin stated as if it were a problem. She didn't seem to care too much though, since she immediately opened up the door and stepped into a hang out of sorts. It was dark, only a few lights allowing people to see a bit. There were people sitting around smoking, all staring towards Jin. "Is there a problem?" Jin spoke out and all but two people went back to their business immediately. "Yo, Jin. Some blonde chick in the upstairs room waitin' for ya. Jack is watchin' over her though. She said you told her ass to come here? She one of yo' clients?" a scrawny man with a hat came walking up to her. He was on the shorter side and obviously shady, not the type of person people would want to have dealings with on an every day basis. "Fucker, you know that ain't none of yo business. You want Jin to kick your ass again!?" another man, much larger than the first, grabbed the smaller one by the head and tossed him behind the bar, "Now get to work before I kick your ass for her. You owe me too much fucking money to be messin' around." Jin let out a low growl, irritated over how they were all acting. "She here?" Jin said, causing the larger man to jump. "Uh... Yeah, Jin. She's in the back room up stairs." the large man said and Jin continued on, motioning for Lucia to follow with a wave of her hand. As the reached the top of the stairs, Jin kicked a chair out from under a sleeping man, causing him to fall all  on his ass.

"Ah shit! Jin! Ow! That hurt!" Jack, the man spoken about before jumped to his feet. Obviously that wasn't his real name, more of a code name they all called him by. Jin merely stared at him and he rolled his eyes. He wasn't as scared of her as the rest, but he knew not to mess with her. "She's in here..." Jack said as he pulled out some keys and opened the door. Jin the grabbed onto Lucia's wrist and pulled her into the room, slamming the door shut behind her. The room was also dark. There was one window, but it was covered by thick curtains. There was a desk and a few chairs in the room and it smelled like smoke and dust. "Where's the money?" Jin asked. "Do you have what I've asked for?" the voice of a mature woman pierced the darkness, but did not reveal itself. Jin pulled Lucia forward, but wasn't too harsh with her. "Oh Lucia... My baby girl." the woman came forward and revealed herself, immediately attempting to embrace her daughter, "Your money is on the desk." Jin stepped forward and opened the briefcase on the desk. It didn't take her long to realize it was all there. All she had to do was lift it a bit and calculate the weight. "You should leave here now. They'll be coming after her and myself. If you're not here, they cannot tie you to anything." Jin explained to the woman and then opened the door, allowing them to pass back through it, "I'll take care of any followers, as per our agreement." Jin kept her stoic stare towards the two of them, watching and waiting for them to leave.

A House In London: The First Case Of Sympathy [Closed] Sphtev

This place... honestly didn't look like a home. No, it wasn't--suffice to say, it was a bar or something of the like. She wasn't sure if she liked this place, walking down the seedy alleyway and entering in through the door. The place was dismally-lit at best; and most of the people that Lucia noticed out of the corner of her eye were rough. Some scrawny (thought not as scrawny as Lucia) man walked up to the pair, asking Jin questions about a woman who was supposedly upstairs. Lucia really didn't pay too much attention to this, as she was more worried about the looks that she was getting. She was dressed in the effective equivalent of rags--her feet were bare--and she was getting unwanted attention from a few of the people in the place. She didn't know if this attention she was getting was because she looked so threadbare, or because she was a young girl. Right now, she didn't really care, either. She just wanted to be out of the prying eyes.

More people came and talked to Jin, but again Lucia didn't pay them much heed. There were a lot of voices, and Lucia was having trouble picking out the good from the bad. Almost instinctively, she latched onto Jin's arm and pulled herself in closer, trying to protect herself from these strange people. She followed Jin up a flight of stairs and giggled quietly as someone had their chair kicked out from them--before immediately feeling sorry for them, simply because she worried for their pain. She wanted to apologize for Jin, but she kept her mouth shut. The man produced some keys, opening a door for the pair to go into. This room was dark, and as the door shut behind them, Lucia felt her heart stop. A couple of voices spoke, and then Lucia felt herself being pushed forwards. She tried to keep a hold on Jin's arm, looking back up at where she thought the girl's eyes were in an attempt to plead with her... and then the embrace came.

The body felt warm and familiar to Lucia, but at the same time frightening. Father had been cruel to her and told her of her mother's negligence. Even if he was wrong, what was to say she wouldn't be? But then again... this warm feeling... Lucia's arm left Jin's, holding onto the cold hand for a moment more, trying to remain... before letting go as well. "You should leave here now. They'll be coming after her and myself. If you're not here, they cannot tie you to anything." Lucia hesitated for a second... before pulling herself out of her mother's grip. She stepped forwards and wrapped Jin in a hug, letting herself just rest on the woman's body for a few seconds before pulling away.

"Even... if it were just for the money... you saved my life. For that, you have my gratitude. Thank... you." She smiled softly and then turned around, walking back to her mother with a weak smile. "M-mother... he's gone. I killed him. We're free..." And the rest, they say... is history.
