Basics
Name: Andrei Reznov
True Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personality: Andrei isn't exactly the most serious of soldiers. Quite frankly, he couldn't care less about petty wars; and he doesn't really think politics are as worrisome as some would believe. Honestly, he wouldn't even be in the Air Force anymore if it wasn't for two things: the money, and the flying. Oh god, the flying. You could say that, for most of his life, Andrei has had envious fantasies about flying in the sky with the birds. So he doesn't step out of line. He doesn't say the wrong thing to the wrong person. He doesn't have ambitions, but he doesn't want to leave either--he merely wishes to continue flying.
When he's in the air, he feels free. He feels unrestricted, happy and confident. Unfortunately, things are a little different when he has two feet on the ground. He shells up and goes quiet. He has difficulty talking to people he doesn't trust, so most of his relationships need to be forged in the air before they can take place on the ground--advice for potential lovers and friends. When around people he trusts and knows from the air, it almost feels to him as if those people have brought the air down to him--so he opens up when in their presence. If he can see them, and they are close enough, he immediately becomes a different person.
As for dealing with fights--well, he's no coward, don't get us wrong. It's just that he won't engage until the last moment. But when he engages? Well, let's just say that he puts his flight training to its limits. He frequently pulls evasive maneuvers--and has almost completely gotten the Immelmann down to a fine art.

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 85kg
Natural Abilities
Natural Abilities: Adrenaline Rush: A simple power that doesn't take too much energy, but completely defines why Andrei is such a powerful fighter in the sky. As the Adrenaline rushes through his body, Andrei starts to see things in a different light--he even gains a little bit of precognition, allowing him to react within almost microseconds of an action occurring. This starts happening at about 50% of his possible Adrenal release, and is also dependent on his emotional state at the time; if he is battling, it works--with sex, or when he is merely enjoying himself, it will not work.
Can See Spirits: Yes.
Past & Roleplay Sample
Character Background: For as long as he can remember, Andrei Reznov has been fascinated by the sky. Whether it's been a blue sky, a clouded sky, or any type of sky--it has always been something of a powerful thought-provoker. His parents would almost always find him sitting on top of a tree, just staring at the birds as they flew past, wondering if he could ever fly on his own.
On one such day--the seven year old Andrei tried. He jumped off of the tallest tree in his backyard, and flapped his arms as hard as he possibly could. Gravity took its toll, and he fell towards the ground. As he fell, he decided that he should just die--but no, he got out of it with two broken legs and some very distraught parents. He was lectured for days, and slowly became more and more shelled-up as his legs returned to their usual state. When he could finally walk again, almost a year later, he didn't speak to anyone. Nobody caught his eye. Nothing caught his attention. All he did was stare up into the sky with a sad expression, wanting nothing more than to be able to truly fly.
Therefore, it was obvious that he would sign up for the Air Force, the day he turned eighteen. He wanted to fly on his own, so he would do anything to become a pilot. His parents had never seen such a light in their son's eyes; they were happy to see him excited for something like this, and pushed for him to continue. Years passed, but his flying only got stronger. Even if he couldn't properly talk to people on the ground--it was natural in the air--so he would talk to them there, making friends in the sky with the other birds... just as he wanted to.
With his salary he has purchased several personal aircraft, and flies wherever he needs to go himself. He hasn't progressed very high up the rankings since he became a fighter pilot. Honestly, he's just a flying grunt. He has been for about seven years, now. But you know what? He doesn't care. He just wants to fly... and fly he will do.
