Name: Gardenia Sugiura, Goddess of Water
True Age: Around or over 9000, but a tad younger than her older brother, Izanagi Sugiura, God of Flames.

Personality: Gardenia is usually strange in terms of interests and habits; one of the interests was collecting devices made to inflate a tire, or a balloon. At times she would occupy herself with blowing up balloons and playing with them (given that no matter how many times the servants cleaned her room, they start seeing balloons littering her room again.) She has plenty of secrets, which she shared with her older brother, Izanagi. She is rather adamant while quite carefree as she does not like being “royalty” or “lady-like” because her older sisters are like that (except for Takuri,) so why she has to be like them? She would even put up a fuss when the servants are forced to wrestle her while putting on her dress or hair accessories. She usually preferred loose clothes and does not mind wearing skirt as along it is not for a long time or the kind that she will trip over. Speaking about tripping over, she is usually clumsy enough to not being able to carry a plate with one plate without breaking more than just the plate. What contradicts the last statement was that her form of agility is best demonstrated when she is capable of climb on steep cliffs, trees and even the ceiling without slipping up. She regularly enjoys small fruits like berries and grapes. Her most disliked is combat because it is where her confidence is lacked the greatest.
Being part of the Sugiura Eastern Royalty was rather tough as she usually spends her time cooped up in the castle and that made her bored most of the time. While she has affection for family, she has a deeper affection for her older brother, Izanagi for some reason that would be very hard to put a finger on, so whenever Izanagi is needed, it is to convince Gardenia and hopefully make her less stubborn. Usually, she is called “Squee” from her older brother, Izanagi and she usually identifies Izanagi the moment that she is called that. However, if she was called, “Squee” when it is from someone who is not Izanagi, she feel offended and violated to learn that someone is harassing her with a name given by her older brother and only used by her older brother. She can get somewhat envious of her family’s ability to fight because she cannot fight. In the family, she is considered the “baby sister,” because of her vulnerability and her attachment to the family while others would feel they have to watch out for her and keep her safe. In her personal review of herself, she will say, “I’m water. I can take a hit and reform, but I cannot fight back; I can only revitalize, crush everything else or nothing at all.” In her past, she was once under training for combat, but she cannot progress out of first stage because whenever she took a hit, even on purpose, she loses her will to fight back and retreat, thus earning rutty titles like “Coward” and “Glass Princess.” Other than Izanagi, she has very little trust or faith in her family and her people because of how they disgraced her for not being able to use her Sacred Weapon as well as her siblings and the newer generations after her. Despite being cooped up at the castle and frequently being bored, the castle to Gardenia is the only place where she stays and safe from all the failures and mistreatment of those outside the walls.

She has a light build with fair skin. Her eyes match her blue hair. The hair is long and wavy as it is usually tied into a high ponytail while there is a patch of lighter blue located over her forehead. At first, she seems like the kind that does not put up a fight and when knowing her, she is the kind that does not put up a fight, but hell, she can run! Unusual for those who does not know her to be the Goddess of Water, she has a glittering aura as if looking at the sunshine reflecting off clean water. Despite her “wet” glow in her hair and skin, she feels moistly dry passively. When she walks, she has the steps of a Noh Actress; walking without shuffling and without having her feet off the ground like she is gliding across the floor. Her breasts are small and look flat if she crosses her arms. Even her butt hardly looks pronounced as she was teased to be a “Harihime” or “glass princess” because of her slender and fragile appearance. Since she usually does not wear undergarment, her features can be felt, but mainly to her, she believes that they never do that, so why bother? Literally, it seems that they will not be seen through her clothes like it would for her sisters.
She usually has loose clothes or baggy clothes. Her frequent choice of clothes are colored dark purple while her more formal/royal clothes are spring blue or winter blue. Whenever she wears baggy/loose pants, she has a belt with her or if these pants come with built in laces, she can tie them instead. Her favorite blouse is her tank top. For pants, she ranged between the length of to her knees or to her ankles. She does not like piercings, so all of her earrings and body rings are clip-ons. In fact, she does not like any jewelry on her, thus she is quite plain compared to her sisters. All the time, she wears a pair of sandals that are just flat rather than platform or risen. If not she can run around bare-footed, though despite her comfort of it, she can get hurt, which to the family is next to predicting the next time the baby cries for its mother. On her hair was a yellow flower hairpin that was given to her by Izanagi and ever since then, she still wears it.
Animalistic Traits: Despite having no physical clue of her animalistic traits, she has a mastery in climbing on surfaces that are rather difficult for others and jumping further distances than average human athletes, but her quirk is that she does not like getting wet, despite her mastery over the power of water.

Magic: Evoking Water: Gardenia uses this to create 10 gallons of water per post multiplied by number of players in the field.
Swaying Water: Gardenia uses this to manipulate 10 gallons of water per post multiplied by the sources of water.
Piercing Current: Gardenia uses 10 gallons of water to spearhead the target, causing the target to be knocked back; only heavyweights can reduce this while super-heavyweights can resist it entirely.
Lifting Current: Gardenia forces 10 gallons out of the ground in a single forceful burst strong enough to send a middleweight or lighter flying off the ground while heavyweights and super-heavyweights can resist it.
Crushing Current: Gardenia uses 20 gallons to overwhelm multiple targets, forcing them to be knocked down on impact; while super-heavyweights can resist it entirely, 20 gallons can affect two targets while additional 10 gallons per player if over that.
Maelstrom: Gardenia uses 100 gallons of water to create an impassible barrier around her and her allies for 10 posts (1 post per 10 gallons in loss overtime.)
Rain: Gardenia uses 100 gallons of water to change field conditions, making everyone more vulnerable to electric attacks while fire attacks are weakened.
Extinguish: Uses a small amount of water to cleanse fire damages while also prevents the next fire attack. If the fire is environmental, the benefit lasts for two posts.
Sacred Weapon: Tide takes form of a huge sword-like weapon that takes form of a shark as the handle is located deep inside from the back end and the fins are the only things to either catch attacks or to support its own weight when planted in the ground. The fins on the broadsides are pointing forward to the furthest tip. The only problem for the Harihime is that the mass and weight often overwhelms her as simply moving it or swinging it was a chore for her. The primary reason was probably because she is not as connected to it as her sisters are or as the others are because regardless of strength, a skilled Sugiura can use something like it without having to consider its mass or weight. Because of how useless Gardenia was, it is unknown about how capable this weapon is.

Character Background: Gardenia was born as Shimura’s youngest daughter while Izanagi was a teenager (in Sugiura age.) When cleaning her off, Izanagi noticed that no matter how thorough he is with drying her off with a warm towel, Gardenia has a passively moist skin which signifies her origin to be water. She was given the name, “Gardenia” after the plant that was recently watered at Shimura’s chamber. From time to time, her older siblings took their time to take care of her needs, but most of the time, it was Shimura’s servants who took care of her. Noticing that Gardenia does not like the servants, Misaiko asked Izanagi to be her designated caretaker since Gardenia is far less trouble for him than with Takuri while Misaiko can take care of her when Izanagi is off on trips. From time to time, Izanagi raised her and made sure she is in good health and growth while Misaiko taught her how to walk and talk. The only noticeable problem with the progress of teaching her was her reluctant attitude to be assisted by neither Misaiko nor Izanagi. One time, she accidentally fell off a ledge and disappears in a splash of water, which caused a panic for the family, but she is discovered giggling by Izanagi and Takuri seconds later to be fine despite sitting on the same surface that she landed on. When Izanagi soon became more distant than usual for Gardenia, she ended up being more obedient than before. Misaiko noticed the change and began taking care of her while she knew that Izanagi was achieving his Guardian Beast. When she was at her young teenage years, Gardenia recognizes Misaiko as “mother,” but she knows her as her older sister while Shimura was her mother. She attended to lessons from various teachers and light combat training from Takuri. However, she flunked her combat lessons because usually runs away or loses her will to fight back as she was very quick to be overwhelmed in fights even against a small child who is learning from a different combat teacher. Later on, Izanagi took Gardenia with him, hopefully to teach her about Guardian Beasts while he trains with his own. From there on, Gardenia began showing attachment to Izanagi that seems to be reliant.
Roleplay Sample: At Misaiko’s castle in the middle of the afternoon, Gardenia was just returning to her room from having lunch with Misaiko as she kicks up a pink balloon and catches it. She was not happy because during lunch, Misaiko told her that she is old enough that she has to go out and find herself someone or someplace instead of staying cooped up in her room from day to day throughout the day. There is no mistake that the only time she was outside the castle was with Izanagi escorting her. When around Izanagi, she feels more safe than with anyone else because a couple times during combat training, Takuri forgets to pull her attacks and literally sliced her in half; all of these times, Gardenia reforms and ends up with her butt on the ground and close to crying before Izanagi comes and comforted her. Like other combat teachers, Takuri lost her patience with her and refuses to train her if Gardenia keeps being a crybaby. Looking at the balloon as she walks to and sits on her bed, Gardenia lets her imagination roll on and on as she slowly closes her eyes for a nap. Again and again, her mind is fighting off the tiresomeness and the lure of sleep. Soon the lure was overwhelming as Gardenia falls asleep and rolls so her back is facing the door. As she snoozes, she clutches the pink balloon close to her bosom and giggles lightly about something. That something was from her dream and what comes from her dream is something no one will know.
