Shēnghuó Human Template

"Here I come to save the day... or wreck it."

Basics

Name: Terra Reinhardt
ALIAS: Subject VI.
True Age: 24
Gender: Female
Personality: If she can't talk her way through a door, you can be certain that she'll go ahead and punch her way through it instead. With her gigantic gauntlets, Terra has taken it upon herself to be at hand as the first on the scene and the first to destroy anything that stands before her. Harsh, abrasive and loud, this woman is unafraid to say what she wants and thinks, voicing her opinions to the world and giving no quarter. As opinionated as she is prideful, Terra will almost always be the first to give her opinion, not dicing her words or mincing the truth. She does not believe that people need to hear a softened opinion, instead opting to give the full truth. For this reason, Terra does not lie. She may occasionally not give the entire truth, though this is due to her understanding of the people around her. If she does not believe that someone deserves to hear it—it is not a matter of if they are ready or not, but a matter of whether or not they should be allowed to—then she will not tell them everything that she knows, though she will never tell them a blatant lie to her face.

Usually quite willing to bend the law to her whims, Terra shows little respect for authority--unless given an order that she cannot refuse. Happy to break as many faces as she is rules, she will do anything and everything possible to get her guy. She accepted the job based on the fact that she could pummel faces without care, and it has definitely gone her way so far. She angers quickly as well, escalating a confrontation to violence without a second's notice at times. She believes that it's a lot better to destroy an opponent that could've destroyed everyone else, as opposed to wasting lives in order to bring them down without lethal force. In fact, almost every hit that Terra plants is aimed to at least incapacitate, if not kill--she knows little in terms of holding back her power, and she has never been taught as such in her life.

One could call her stupid, too. In fact, it's easy to call her stupid, as she's not really in possession of a highly intelligent mind. She knows strategy, but has only ever really been taught how to punch things, so she hasn't ever had the chance to actually put her mind into battle. For this, she needs a good supporting person at her side, but her self-pride disallows her from doing this. She would rather force herself into a 1 on many fight than risk the lives of the good people at her side. Normally, this would call for her being called a 'hero'... but yeah, no. She just wants the glory of kicking multiple asses at once, or so she says. She can act quite selfish, but usually you see her working well with her teammates; to a degree.

Quotes:
"Why can't I get a straight answer? It's always just 'Oh no! Stop hitting me! Ow, my face!'"
"We can either do this the hard way, or... Oh wait, no. There's just the hard way."
"If I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you."
"I've got five reasons for you to shut up."
"Punch first. Ask questions while punching."

General Appearance

Appearance Age: 24
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 52kg - 352kg with gauntlets

Qi Abilities

Type: Jineng
Appearance change: Technically, no--but she'll almost always put on her Hextech Gauntlets before activating her Qi abilities. So that could be called an appearance change.

Abilities:

Physical Manifestation: The most basic of Terra's abilities, and the one that she uses the most often. Although she personally has a great deal of strength for a human her size, Terra is able to increase her potential force with her Qi. This is normally used to power and control her Gauntlets. Channeling her energy, she is able to extend her reach and lifting force to a degree where she becomes capable of lifting great weights--although her two gauntlets are a simple example, she can use them and her own Qi to further extend this lifting force. With her gauntlets and Qi, she is quite easily capable of lifting a fully-loaded tanker truck with one hand. With her bare hands, this is a lot more limited--though still extremely frightful if used correctly. This ability creates a foundation for most of her techniques.

Kinetic Force Amplification: By taking the amount of force that Terra produces with a swing of her fists and multiplying it by a predetermined amount, Terra is able to increase the amount of force in an attack exponentially. Upon setting the value (this can only be done at the beginning of a turn), Terra is then able to fight using this value. Each of these values has their own advantages and disadvantages, the drawbacks being more prominent as you increase in strength.

  • 2x - This doubles the output of force from Terra's attacks. Being the default setting of her attacks, there are no real disadvantages or drawbacks to using it. If Terra has been forced to drop to this setting, she has to remain in this for five rounds before changing to a new one.
  • 5x - This multiplies the output of force from Terra's attacks by five. This mode, though not being default, also does not have any drawbacks. However, it is limited to five rounds before Terra is required to return to the 2x setting.
  • 10x - The first of the three powerful settings, 10x multiplies the force output from Terra's attacks by ten. The biggest disadvantage of using the 10x is the strain on Terra's musculature, causing aches with every passing attack. The aches caused with this can be ignored quite easily in battle. The 10x setting is limited to four rounds before Terra is required to drop down to 2x once more.
  • 20x - This increases the force output from Terra's attacks by twenty times. As she continues to use this, more and more strain is put onto her body, causing moderate pain to wrack through her body. She can only keep this setting up for five of her own posts, before being forced to revert to 2x.
  • 50x - The most powerful setting for the Gauntlets, this increases Terra's power by fifty times its base, therefore increasing force output by 5000%. This puts unimaginable strain on her body, and keeping it up for any more than four IC (up until her next) posts would be detrimental to her mental health, degrading her into irreversible insanity. Her body, while using this over the posts, is put through stresses of intense levels, causing her muscles to seize up after the third post of use. If does not revert before this occurs, her body is violently thrown out of the setting, giving her five IC posts to recover and fight again. If she manages to get out of it before then, the recovery period is not required. Either way, however, she will still be required to wait the twenty posts needed to use another setting.

Kinetic Movement Modification: As well as modifying the Kinetic Force of her strikes, Terra is able to manipulate her kinetic energy while moving--this gives her the potential to start, stop, and change direction on a dime, despite having extremely unwieldy in her usual combat stance. This movement modification could be called something akin to Shunpo, though it's in far shorter steps--while one would refer to shunpo as a single jump across a river, Terra's movement is more comparable to jumping on stepping stones. She is also capable of stopping her attacks at a second's notice, leaving a gigantic fist less than a centimetre away from her target's face. This can be further implemented by allowing Terra to displace the force of gravity in comparison to her body--this can allow her to scale walls and other sheer surfaces on foot, without breaking a sweat.

Excessive Force: By carefully manipulating the kinetic force in each of her strikes, Terra can retain her usual increase in attack force, but also cause said force to blast behind the target being hit with her attacks. This can allow her to hit targets standing behind her original target, or even damage targets through defenses--such as beings behind walls. When she attacks them in this way, the damage dealt to those behind is the same as the damage dealt to the one that she first hits. This allows for spreading damage over a great area and taking out multiple enemies at once.

Past

Character Background: The Daedalus Project. A secret facility in the depths of Russia, designed with the intention of discovering the humans with the most potential in power and obtaining them; turning them into weapons to be beheld upon the battlefields. A black mark upon a piece of paper in some bureaucrat's office, Daedalus began strong; hunting down children with potential. With technology thought completely useless, or seemingly too far into the future for its own good, the hunters began to scour the world for their perfect children--purchasing them from their parents, or even kidnapping them from the stubborn ones. The Reinhardt family of Southern Germany were one of the ones that were more than capable of sustaining themselves with profit; so when these scientists discovered that their youngest, Terra, had the capabilities of being an extremely powerful being in the future, they quickly set to work with a staged death. Kidnapping the young Terra in full view of her parents, they took her into a car and rushed her off--Terra's parents in hot pursuit. The chase went on for several kilometers, before the car that supposedly held Terra swerved off of the road, colliding with the side of a building. As Terra's parents rushed towards the car, it would suddenly explode into a fireball that few could survive within. True enough, upon scouring the vehicle, they found remains of both kidnapper... and the one kidnapped.

Three hours later Terra awoke, thousands of kilometers away from home. As she stared at the ceiling above her, she started to see shapes grow and change, looking right at her as strange hallucinations. Doctors were over her, but she didn't see that--she saw demonic men leaning over her. She stared quietly before screaming the night away, and finally fell into a drug-induced stupor. Over the next fifteen years, Terra was heavily experimented upon. When I say heavily, it was an attempt to bring forth the latent abilities she had, and it was completely and totally successful. Every day she grew just that little bit stronger, that little bit more powerful. They gave her bricks--within a month, she was capable of destroying six inches of solid steel by throwing two bricks and manipulating the kinetic force. Within a year, she could do it with her fists--at the cost of breaking her bones. Baffled by this, they kept healing her and trying again, but she would always break the bones in her hands. After sixteen attempts, they decided that the human skeleton was just too weak for this kind of punishment, and they designed a pair of gigantic gauntlets to do the job. It took another five years for her to gain the strength to lift the mammoth gauntlets, but when she did, she was a force almost unstoppable... unfortunately for Daedalus.

Within three days, the people who had tortured her had been killed; the place that had been her prison was in ruins, and the woman was on the run. From the facility in Russia, her first idea was to go home--but she looked so different that she knew her parents wouldn't recognize her. Instead, she fled somewhere that nobody would look for her: Artemis. She was certain that a place like that would be able to hide her; it was just a matter of learning the way. Once she had enough knowledge, she got a job as a police officer and quickly rose up the ranks. Now she fights within Artemis' anti-terrorism and SWAT units, using her gigantic fists to bring criminals to justice... or the ground.
