Basics
Name: Snopy Saika
True Age:Gender: Male
Personality
"You speak of bringing justice, but what of the thousands you've made suffer as a result? I won't allow you to ignore them."
Snopy is nothing if not an intelligent individual. It is a trait that he has had since the day he was born. His ability to understand, comprehend, and learn is phenomenal. There is little he can't figure out. He learns attack patterns through analysis, he can catch a liar, and is just generally hard to slip one past. His deductive abilities can make him quite dangerous both on and off the battlefield, though if someone tries to point out this intelligence, he'll often deflect it as if it wasn't anything special. Cockiness got him killed in the first place, and that was not a mistake he'd ever make twice. On top of that, he respects other people's intelligence. Unless you are an absolute moron and act like you don't have a brain, Snopy will generally acknowledge to himself that you are intelligent in your own way, almost everyone is.
Snopy's friendliness comes from lessons learned, and these lessons actually made him a pretty laid back guy. He runs an extremely powerful organization (and practically runs Karakura), and yet he can't stand formalities, or using that power needlessly. He doesn't generally force people to speak formally to him unless he really doesn't like them (though by all means most are allowed to speak formally), and runs a generally loose (but efficient) ship. He doesn't act intimidating to people he comes across by any means, and he is perfectly willing to start a conversation with someone walking down the street. While Snopy is generally a patient man, he can get irritated or even mad under the right circumstances. Repeatedly ignoring his advice (and by ignoring said advice, endangering one's self or others), doing something wrong repeatedly, or doing something wrong period (if it is bad enough in his eyes) can set him off to agitation, or even anger if it is enough. That is true anger, just general anger can be inflicted through arguments and such, but it doesn't mean much. Granted, there is the chance he'll say something he doesn't mean and either immediately, or shortly thereafter, regret saying it. You won't really see too much of this though, as normally he keeps his cool fairly easily. He can even be blatantly insulted in a malicious manner, laugh about it, and move on. Of course, this is much to the dismay of people who actually care about him and think he should have said something more to defend himself. On another note, he is quite the smart ass.
In battle, unless you have committed something that REALLY set him off, Snopy will ALWAYS be calm, but often serious. He will never panic, and will constantly be analyzing the entirety of the situation. Taunts bounce right off of him, and while taunts directed at his friends, family, etc. will irritate him, he won't let it affect how he fights or carries himself in battle. Even when he does get angry, he can maintain a fairly calm stance. Although, if he truly gets angry, and I mean truly, may god have mercy on the offender's soul. Snopy's contains quite a bit of destructive power within his body, and he knows how to unleash it in a controlled fashion. The last thing someone wants is all that power being unleashed and focused on them. When that much destructive power is unleashed in such a controlled small space, one had better dodge, or they might find themselves without a body. Of course, he may also choose to make it slow and painful. After all, if you made him that angry, you probably deserve the torture.
In battle, his lighthearted sarcastic attitude often shines through as he can talk to an enemy as if it were casual conversation. Of course, the sarcasm can easily translate into insults, usually in an attempt to taunt the enemy into making a mistake. Against enemies he sees as real threats though, he may put on a truly serious attitude. If someone truly seems to be a serious threat, he can be cool, calculating, and quite frankly difficult to read. He values strategy, and is willing to sacrifice some conventions of "honor" in order to achieve victory. He'll never do anything to hurt an ally or innocent people, but if it takes a little fighting dirty to protect his friends, allies, and the innocent, then he isn't above low blows and fighting in what some might mark as a dishonorable manner. He is unlikely to ever fight like this against people who aren't showing themselves a threat to those things however. Those who won't cause major harm should they win will be fought in a more "honorable" way.
Overall though, Snopy has a very strong moral code that he abides by. He will never harm an innocent person, even if it would make his own life easier. When a friend or ally is in trouble, he is one of the first to jump to the rescue. Despite his main role in a fight being dealing damage, he will protect his allies as need be (after all, Kidō is a swiss army knife and protection is included in it). He would single handedly hold off an army, or charge an army, if someone he cared about's life depended on it. Once Snopy has truly committed to a decision, it is near impossible to make him change his mind. The only people who might be able to change his mind are those he loves, and it'd take some serious concern from them to get him to back off after he committed...serious concern and often a loooot of convincing.
In matters of love, actual love, naive wouldn't be the correct word for Snopy. It is more like inexperienced. He has learned much about the world, and is incredibly wise...but he hadn't exactly had too much time for romance. In his youth it did not even slightly concern him, and during his time as a member of the Gotei he was more concerned with personal and spiritual growth, as well as the growth of those around him. When it comes to people he cares about, he can be extremely passionate, but is often unsure of how show it. Words, which he sees as a great ally, often fail him in this respect. In terms of physical signs of affection, he can often get caught up more over if the other would accept it than if it was what he really feels, leading to hesitation. Still, when he cares about someone, even if he has yet to learn to properly channel the emotion, he would blast open the gates of hell (metaphorically, he has no intention of literally trying) if it somehow helped them. Ironically, while actual love he has awkwardness with, he can be quite flirtatious if he wants to be. This is usually used when some woman shows some hostility towards him, and he merely returns back with a flirtatious compliment, which quite often causes the hostility to change into kindness. If someone flirts with him, he might also throw a compliment back. This can easily cause conflict with someone he is more seriously involved with, but the idle flirting he does with others means nothing.
Appearance
Appearance: Snopy has a very lean appearance, weighing about 139 lbs and standing at 6 feet and 1 inch. Considering the height and weight factor, he is rather skinny and lacks any noticeable muscle definition. It is unknown why his weight is the way it is, either way it doesn't make him the most menacing person. He has blonde hair that extends down to the bottom of the neck. Considering his nationality is Japanese, one would wonder as to where such a hair color came from. However, his skin is colored normally for his Nationality.
His eye color tends to catch many people off guard as well. He appears to have obtained heterochromia iridium in some way. Though normally caused by some kind of inflammation or irritation, the nature of this is rather different. He was actually born with silver eyes, and lived his entire living life with that. However, shortly after death he was struck by some surge of energy, and his eyes changed. His left eye is a bright pink color, while his right is a deep purple color. One gene test he took in the Gotei even confirmed that it was somehow hard coded into his genetics to have multi-colored eyes. No one knows how his genetics changed, especially since it isn't a genetic condition.
When it comes to attire it is fairly simple. He is usually found wearing casual attire, even on some missions. He wears a T-shirt, shorts, and sandals much of the time. To top it off he has a pair of sunglasses he uses to cover his eyes sometimes. The main reason being he just enjoys wearing them, as he feels no shame in his eye colors. The colors of said cloths vary, as he has no real preference. He also wears a necklace with a little blue stone at the end that his sister gave him.

Abilities
Immense Spiritual Power: Snopy's body contains an absurd amount of spiritual power. Those who feel the full brunt of it never forget it, and none but the strongest can ignore the amount of energy he emits. In terms of energy for battle, he contains so much energy within his body that trying to outlast him energy-wise simply isn't the wisest decision, or rather his efficiency with his energy makes it get good mileage. Simply defeating him before he defeats you is the best method of defeating him in battle.
Ludicrous Speed: Quite simply, Snopy is incredibly fast. What makes someone who can last in a fight worse? Being unable to hit that person. He can hit some incredibly high speeds, and simply firing off shots blindly at him will not work, as he can dodge haphazardly launched attacks with ease.
Meh Strength: For someone boasting as much spiritual power as Snopy, his strength is incredibly low. Yes, it is far above a powerless human as he does have his spiritual energy backing it up at least a little, but most people of equal power will have more physical strength than he. If Snopy clashes swords with someone at full strength, Snopy will likely lose.
Incredible Frailty: Snopy has speed, and he has immense abilities to outlast opponents while dishing out insane amounts of damage, but his body is weak. He is squishy. You step on him, he goes squish. Get the picture? He DOES once again have superhuman durability technically, so he could easily withstand those of lower power. However, against those of equal strength or only a bit lower, they hit him, it is going to hurt him...a lot. Sometimes, all it takes is one solid hit to do the trick. It cannot be emphasized enough that Snopy needs to avoid taking damage at all costs against worthy opponents.
Kidō Master: The bread and butter of Snopy's arsenal, he has practiced Kidō, he has utilized Kidō, he has expanded upon his Kidō, and overall has created powerful ways in which to kill or protect a man with Kidō. It is a swiss army knife of possibility. Snopy has utterly mastered Kidō (well as mastered as something that open can get). All well known Kidō are under his knowledge, and he has made countless modified versions, as well as unique Kidō. He can even fire off many Kidō with very little body motion. If you hear him utter the name of a Hado, get out of the way.
Hoho Master: Part of being so fast is being an expert at Hoho. Snopy can Shunpo, as well as the more advanced Utsusemi. This helps his naturally immense speed and cements his place as one of the fastest Vizard. He isn't the greatest user, but he is up there.
Zanjutsu Adept: Snopy knows how to wield a sword very well, even if everyone else overpowers him at his level. However, Snopy does not aim for a clash of steel. When Snopy fights, he aims to cut into the softness of flesh. Unless the opponent has a powerful Hierro-type barrier (or just really good armor, and Snopy does have ways around that), he can get his blade into their flesh if given the chance. His strikes are swift, and one must keep an eye on him, as his speed allows him to find openings. With a blade he is closer to an assassin than a warrior, since being at close range for more than a moment is increasingly dangerous to him. Still, due to his frailty and general lack of practice with Zanjutsu (you lose a lot of practice when you are avoiding clashes, and are going one hit one kill), he can only be marked under adept. If an opponent deflects his blow, then he needs to back up and back up fast or else! He does have a MILD ability to parry a blow and redirect it to the side.
Hakuda...?: No. Snopy knows a few basic forms, a few basic moves, but someone as frail and weak as him simply isn't capable of fighting equals with martial arts. He can't output enough force to injure someone unless he augments the punch with Kidō, and since he doesn't bother to use Kidō like that, he essentially can't fight unarmed in a physical sense (he would still, theoretically, have Kidō).
Expert Gunslinger: Snopy has guns. His Shikai has a gun, and he wields spiritually augmented revolvers, and since his strength is technically super human, the recoil on all of his firearms is irrelevant to him. He has good accuracy and usually only misses if the target vacated the bullet's path while it is en'route. Surprisingly, he can somewhat deflect a physical blow with his revolvers. By no means is it perfect, but it helps him not die.
Equipment
Energy RevolversThese pistols look like nothing more than regular revolvers on the outside. The pistols do not fire regular bullets, but bullets of condensed energy gathered from its user, making them rather useless if one is completely powerless. They take on the power of the user, meaning if the user was a 0-4, the bullets can be fired with the power of a 0-4. The user can also adjust the output of the gun, making them able to make the bullets any strength from almost nothing all the way up to their tier level.
The energy leaves in the shape of a bullet, but the user may make the energy less condensed, which will not only lower the power of the bullet itself, but give a wide radius of damage, possibly leaving a giant hole in an object it fired through (imagine firing at a wall of a house and a several foot wide hole being created on more extreme powers). Since the user can fire repeatedly, and it is fueled by their energy, it also drains energy from the user. However, since the revolvers can store energy over time, the first shot fired from each pistol (in a thread) will cost no energy, as it built over time (does not apply if the threads take place very shortly after one another).
Finally, their construction makes them extremely durable, able to absorb most powerful attacks that are below 3 tier. However, if the user is stronger than that, then the gun takes on the durability of the user's Zanpakutō (or what it would be if they had one). Finally, it is synced up to its user. That way, no one can get their hands on it and use it unless they find some way to decode the gun's mechanisms and remove Snopy's energy from it.
Zanpakutō
Zanpakutō: The Zanpakutō's blade is the size of a regular katana and is a deep black. The hand guard is like that of a regular katana. The handle is black with pink colored cloth around it. The second blade is the same, but with purple cloth on the handle.
Zanpakutō Spirit Name: Tsuin Megami Reijingu (Raging Twin Goddesses)
Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance: The perky half
Spoiler:
Fumiko is a somewhat large chested girl who stands at about 5'1 and weighs somewhere around 100 pounds. Fumiko has the look of a teenager around 16 or 17. She is somewhat innocent looking and tends has an extremely attractive body. She has long bright blue hair which either extends down her back or, more often, is in a large ponytail that is off to the side. Her eyes, like her hair, are a bright blue.
Fumiko tends to be a happy person. As such, her movements are as such. She is always seen with a smile on her face. She tends to move around energetically, sometimes skipping around. This makes people who see her generally see just how hyper she can be.
She tends to wear revealing outfits. She is as innocent as can be, but she likes to show off her body a little. Thus the dresses she wears generally cover minimal amounts of skin on her arms and legs. When she wears something that isn't a dress, she wears a tank top and a skirt or shorts. Most of the time a bit on underwear is showing. Some of her outfits tend to show off her cleavage a bit. Clothing like this is one of the causes for her arguments with her sister.
The calm half
Reiko is a small chested girl who stands at about 5'7 and weighs somewhere around 120-130 pounds. Her bodily features are all around feminine as one would expect from a female, looking around age 25. Her body is an extremely attractive one. She has long black hair that extends down to about half-way down her back. Her eyes are a dark brown.
Reiko always has a serious look plastered on her face. She never really shows much emotion in her actions or face. When she walks, it is always graceful. She never walks like she is depressed, she never walks with energy as if she is happy. The grace shows the content nature of her personality. This makes her look rather elegant in most people's eyes.
It is nearly impossible for anyone to see a large portion of her body (and the beauty within) because she hides it with clothing. She doesn't wear anything revealing, nor anything that highlights her attractive aspects. Her cloths generally are made up of a long sleeved shirt and pants. Very little exposure of her skin in her clothing. She prefers to keep it that way, as she doesn't like to go flaunting things like Fumiko and Ayako do. Still, even with the outfits, she still has an air of elegance around her.
Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: The hyperactive half: Fumiko goes around and always seems to have a smile on her face. She is indeed quite a cheerful person. Sadness isn't something she is too familiar with, and simply being content isn't enough for her. If she isn't happy, she feels something is wrong. This lighthearted attitude tends to show itself in her voice and movements. If she isn't happy, she is either upset or bored.
She is also quite energetic about it. She seems to have a lot more energy than someone her size needs, so she tends to move quickly. She runs around occasionally, she jumps around a lot, and anything that seems to show an excess in energy reserves. This especially shows in her voice. Fumiko talks loudly, really loudly. Her voice is somewhere in-between loud and yelling. It isn't quite yelling (most of the time), but it certainly isn't quiet.
Fumiko is what we could call "trigger happy". When there is a problem, her answer is (almost) always to blow it up. If there is something to fight, she wants to go all out. When Snopy fights she always tries to get him to blow things up. She likes using that kind of power, almost as much as she likes explosions. She isn't dumb though. If Snopy is upset with someone he cares about she won't tell him to "blow them up." She won't tell him to blow up random things, especially in a city or town. She does not want to commit murder.
Fumiko is actually a rather kind person at heart. She doesn't like needless death, just like Snopy. She is also protective of Snopy and even the people Snopy cares about. She cares about Snopy's friends and family through extension. She really does care for their well fare, as well as her sister's. When one of them is in trouble, she can show actual concern on her face rather than joy. However, if she feels things are going to end well, she will be extremely happy as usual. An example is when Snopy is in trouble, but someone cones to help and she feels the battle is going to be a win.
She is extremely attached to Snopy. At times when he is in his inner world she will hug and cling to him. It is a sort of cute attachment, like one a little sister would give to a brother she was attached to. She tends to talk to Snopy a lot as, to her, he is the easiest person to talk to. In truth, she sees her wielder as her big brother, and spends a lot of time interacting with him. This sister-like attitude is often returned with a brother-like attitude.
As for her sister, her relationship is rather rough. Fumiko isn't exactly a hothead, but she doesn't see eye to eye with her sister. Reiko thinks Fumiko is too loud and rash. This often upsets Fumiko, who will begin yelling and arguing rather quickly. As such the two argue constantly, and always seem to be upset with each other. However, Fumiko does love her sister deep down. If something is wrong, she will worry about her. When Snopy can keep their tempers down, she can actually be quite caring towards her sister.
She, however, has no love for Ayako (Snopy's inner hollow). She finds her annoying, seeing as Ayako teases her a lot out of boredom. This causes her to yell at Ayako, which only causes more teasing. Much of said argument is based around Ayako constantly talking about her looks, which Fumiko believes hers are better. Fumiko often drags Snopy in the middle to say who looks better, though he always declines an answer (seeing as he avoids such arguments). She also gets extra protective of Snopy when Ayako is around, feeling like he isn't safe.
The calm half: Reiko is a fairly calm individual. She generally has a "matured" look about her. Her face has generally more of a content look to it rather than a pleased or upset one. Reiko doesn't really get upset about much. Her calm demeanor prevents her from being affected by much. As such, even in arguments she sounds as if she were talking normally. Her facial expression almost never changes.
She has a bit of a dignified aura about her. Her movements are somewhat elegant in nature, not too energetic or sloppy. This is somewhat betrayed by her clothing, which is usually rather plain. Reiko prefers not to show off, unlike others around her to like to flaunt what they have. This in itself adds a bit of dignity to her. Though she dresses plainly, she does have a little sense of appearances. Still, she heavily disagrees with those around her that do flaunt their bodies.
Her attitude is the opposite of her sister's. She prefers to avoid fighting if it isn't necessary. If an opponent can be peacefully subdued, she would prefer it be done that way. When force muse be used, she prefers to use her energy conservatively. As such, she uses it slowly to constantly keep herself augmented in some way. A large attack can miss, but an augmentation takes little energy and has many chances to show itself to be useful. In her mind, it is better that the opponent be the one worn out, not her.
Despite her rather stoic attitude, she does also care for those around her. She does not generally show it in her voice or her motions like her sister. Rather, just what she says has a slightly kinder inflection and other minor changes that show those that know her she does care. She is not good at comforting others, and has trouble coming up with a sympathetic voice. Still, she wishes to help Snopy and any who make him happy.
She shares a somewhat different relationship with Snopy than Fumiko. She shares more of a mature friendship with him, resulting in calm conversations with him. He is the only person she has access to talk to commonly whom she can have a relaxed, intelligent conversation with. She also enjoys the compliments she receives from him, as his nature generally causes him to say nice things to people around him. She will never show it, but she can get quite flattered.
With her sister things are different. Fumiko's loud voice and careless attitude gets on her nerves. It isn't odd to hear Reiko telling her to lower her voice or to mature up. When she argues, she generally retains her calm demeanor and often times has some kind of clever retort. In the end though, her and her sister are similar in their inner feelings. Reiko indeed loves her sister, she just isn't good at showing it. She shows she cares the best she can, even if it is hard to tell at times.
Towards Ayako she actually looks to in a combination of dislike and intrigue. She wants to know more about what makes Ayako tick, so she actually attempts to get along with her. Still, she does dislike her and would prefer she stay away from her sister and Snopy. Reiko is intelligent, she knows the danger, and is not going to let her intrigue blind her judgement of a situation. Still, she has actually had some conversations with the hollow when she wasn't being teased constantly for her conservative dress code.
Zanpakutō Spirit's World: Snopy’s inner world is divided into a few segments. The main two segments are cut half down the middle. On the west side there is a pink hue in the sky. This side is more controlled by the more serious half of his Zanpakutō. On the East side there is a purple hue, representing the more hyperactive (and trigger-happy) half. The reason for this is simply the fact that the two halves of the Zanpakutō don’t get along. As a whole, Snopy’s inner world resembles the wilderness. There are patches of forest, rivers, occasionally lakes, even marshes if one was to search hard enough. Snopy’s inner world is vast, as there is quite a bit of wilderness to be explored.
Though the wilderness transitions smoothly from one side to the next, it is not so with the weather. In the sky, the colors do not fade as they approach, they simply collide, a line where the color suddenly shifts. On the ground this is also evident. On the calmer side, weather appears to generally be calm, the breeze is gentle, and the rivers flow smoothly. However, the moment they cross that invisible line, to the more active side, it becomes the opposite. The wind is often quite powerful, the weather is somewhat unpredictable, and the river instantly begins to flow violently.
To top it off, to the north, there is an area that seems much different. The sky is much darker, the lighting itself is less, and there is a strange dark feel about it. This is where Snopy's inner hollow was formed. Here it is different because everything is darker and more sinister.
Shikai
Shikai: Tsuin megami reijingu
Shikai Appearance: One of the blades does not change in appearance, it simply gets about 4 inches longer. This is the Katana with the Pink at the hilt. The other however, morphs itself into a small black pistol. All across the gun are almost veins, lines running along all parts of the gun. These “veins” will glow a deep purple before fading back into its regular color. This glow and fade almost gives it a futuristic look. It looks like a regular pistol in shape.
Release Phrase: Shikai Abilities: Energy Augmented Sword: The sword Snopy uses in Shikai is constantly covered in a layer of energy. This is due to the sword being the manifestation of his Zanpakutō’s controlled side, which believes in constant augmentation. A layer of energy envelopes the blade at all times while released. This adds to the power of the blade. This allows it to slice through objects with more ease. A clean hit on unprotected skin can cause a pretty bad cut on many people. It slices through skin with relative ease, and even improves Snopy's ability to penetrate Hierro like abilities. Snopy's left arm is also constantly enveloped in energy, causing a moderate reduction in damage to that arm.
Shikai Pistol: The pistol Snopy wields is capable of firing out blasts of pure energy. At the pull of a trigger, these blasts can be released at varying size and power. The gun collects energy generated from Snopy's body (and tiny amounts of energy from the air over time) and uses it to create said blasts. As of now, he can fire blasts that can rival a Gran Rey Cero. He can also fire off smaller blasts for a much lower cost in energy and effort. He can only fire 1 Gran Rey Cero sized blast in a short period of time (1 post), else he begins to fatigue rather quickly (lets say the optimal rate is 1 of these powered blasts per 3 posts, if he does more than that he fatigues more). He can fire more in a single post, but this will consume a lot of energy and may even leave him needing to catch his breath. If he spaces them out he can fire off more, but they still require a bit of energy. However, small and medium sized blasts are rather easy to fire in this state. He can also fire of blasts similar to regular Cero fairly easily. None of these attacks should be underestimated, as his Cero-sized can be devastating and even his small blasts can cause some decent damage.
Overall Augmentation: When Snopy enters his Shikai state, all of his abilities and traits gain a large augmentation from his sealed abilities. His speed, strength, and even durability have a great boost from his Shikai's energy enveloping him and boosting his overall traits. In Shikai, though comparatively low compared to others of his level of strength, his physical power can now pack a punch. Due to being above even the level of strength the average captain holds, even his punches now can cause some destruction, though again for his tier they are dreadfully inadequate. He is now capable of taking a hit, and is not quite as squishy as he was in base. Still, he is much more frail than those of his level. Finally, his already immense speed is augmented making him even harder to hit in combat. Due to his proficiency in Kidō, that gains a slightly larger boost rather than the boost the rest of the traits get, making his Kidō all the more devastating.
Energy and Light Manipulation: The main power of Snopy's Zanpakutō. This power showed itself in minute ways with Snopy's gun and sword, but only manifested when Snopy was able to push himself to his absolute limit. Snopy has the power to manipulate pure energy and even light in his Shikai. What that means, is that he can take control of energy and reishi within the environment and manipulate it to his will. He can condense it into a solid form to attack or defend, and manipulate it free form. In fact, with a little imagination, a lot could be done. He can manipulate just about any energy in the environment, though Reishi is optimal. Other energies are a bit harder to work with than Reishi, though it can be done.
Basically, he has free-form manipulation of energy in this state. What this means is he can collect large amounts of energy and control it in every which way. He can send is around as an overwhelming wave of energy, or even change it's shape to have certain effects (due to shape, not actual special effects). Every bit of energy controlled requires him to infuse a tiny portion of his own energy, thus with prolonged use, Snopy will tire eventually. However, his proficiency in Shikai and overall energy stores allows him to last for a very long period of time. He is very dangerous as he can control large amounts of energy at a time. However, if he pushes himself too far, his body may start to break up from the volume of energy being pumped out of his body. This is because he has no real defensive limitations. He puts out so much energy his body can't handle the sheer movement of it, then his body will start to fall apart. This will cause wounds to break open at various points on his body, though most often from the hands. If he goes overboard for too long, even just hand wounds would become a major issue, and wounds to the torso, even more so. Technically, it is possible for him to put out so much energy he instantaneously would die, while doing massive damage to whatever the energy was focused on. Good thing he has so much control over his powers that unless he WANTED to put out that much energy, it'd never happen.
- Critical Mass: Another derived technique, this functions very differently. Snopy takes energy at some location and over condenses the energy into a tiny space. He does this over and over, causing the space to be filled with far more energy than should be allowed there. After a few seconds, the energy hits critical mass and causes a rather large explosion. The explosion can vary in size, but it generally is more localized into a 20-40 meter radius. This attack can be stealthy if one doesn't pay attention, and may easily go unnoticed until it is too late. If one notes the subtle movements Snopy makes, or can sense the energy being controlled in that area they can escape before the explosion (assuming they have the common sense to get away from the sensed disturbance). If someone knows what they are doing, it can be blocked, though this is best done with barriers, or something that can block ALL of the blast from hitting the person.
- Kidō: Using his energy manipulation, he has a special technique he learned. By condensing and controlling the energy in any location on the battle field, he can create Kidō spells at that location. Basically, he could create a Byakurai that fires from behind an opponent, or a barrier off in the distance, things like that. The downside to this is the spell takes up 1.5x as much energy as normal. His large energy stores makes this a non-issue when only a couple are used, but over time this will eat away at his energy far faster than just using the Kidō would.
Light is slightly different. He doesn't quite manipulate it like he does the energy. He doesn't make a flash of light to blind people or anything. In fact, it is more like his energy manipulation in that it is energy given a solid/semi-solid form in an effort to deal damage. Though unlike his pure energy manipulation he doesn't have any real tricks to reduce energy cost. What he spends is what he spends. The attacks derived from this tiny bit of his power can cause a bit of burn damage, as light also has a lot to do with heat.
- Piercing Light: Condenses light within any of his firearms (his energy revolvers are built to withstand this as well) and fires it out as a condensed beam of light. Costs a decent sum of energy, but is quite dangerous. Weaker and less durable targets run the risk of having a hole burned right through them, while stronger and durable targets will have a burn wound (as the light might not penetrate their whole body). Still, strong targets may still want to attempt to react quickly as a direct hit would still be pretty bad, and unblocked could still very well punch a hole through a body. 5 post cooldown.
- Ardent Blaze: Fires out a small orb of light that travels moderately fast and explodes on hitting an object or going 200 feet. It explodes into a cross, the light shooting out in 4 directions. The damage caused by this ability is negligible, most wouldn't even feel it really, but those hit get marked with light. For 3 posts not only can Snopy track their location unless they remove it, but whenever energy from his body makes contact with their body (as in energy he fired as an attack), it draws a small amount of energy from the mark and shoots it back to Snopy. Unless the energy was intercepted somehow, Snopy would get a small burst of speed (I do mean small) for about 10 seconds. 5 post cooldown.
- The Culling: Snopy holds up at least 2 pistols that can handle his energy as a source of ammo and repeatedly fires blasts of light in the direction he aims. Each blast does moderate amount of damage, but the damage adds up over time, and hordes of weak enemies can easily find themselves decimated from the number of blasts. Within a 5 second period he can fire up to 150 blasts. You dodge. No seriously, you DODGE. Unless you can block or deflect all of them, you dodge them. This technique is meant to clear large numbers of weaker enemies, but taking all 150 of them unblocked can still make a stronger target take some damage. 7 post cooldown.
Bankai
Bankai: Tengoku no Tsuin Megami (heavenly twin goddesses)
Bankai Appearance: Snopy's Bankai doesn't change appearance, except the "veins" on his pistol now have energy visibly shooting off of them a few inches, and the blade is now so engulfed in energy it looks similar to a beam sword.
Bankai Abilities: Energy Augmented Sword: Basically his Shikai version on steroids. The blade's cutting power has drastically increased, making it's ability to cut far greater than before. It tears through flesh like it is nothing, and can penetrate even some strong hierro type techniques. The energy also has a repulsion effect. If someone strikes and he blocks, if they lack strength they could easily be sent flying backwards great distances, enough to go through buildings. Those who are equal to him in power and have at least a good amount of physical strength shouldn't find this an issue though. Even though he isn't the greatest with a blade, caution should be exercised when facing him with his blade drawn.
Bankai Pistol: The pistol is much the same save for how much power. Snopy can easily pump out a beam similar to a Cero Oscuras in strength (3 per post, 1 per post easy, 2 with slight fatigue, 3 with fatigue). He can launch beams similar to Gran Rey Cero even easier, up to 6 per post. His ability to fire Cero like beams is increased, and he can fire many without fatigue. He can fire medium sized blasts so fast it is like a machine gun, and small blasts come out even faster. Plus, he can now maneuver his blasts by moving his gun, though Cero Oscuras type blasts won't move with the gun. Overall, the damage output in Bankai is something to be feared.
Overall Augmentation: Snopy is further augmented, gaining a large increase to all traits (strength, durability, etc.), and slightly more to Kidō. Underestimating any of Snopy's abilities in this form is a mistake (though since his weakest trait is strength in base, it is still his weakest trait released logically speaking). Picture this as an RPG level up. A glass cannon is still a glass cannon, but when they level up even their defense will go up, even if it is much smaller an increase to the rest of the abilities. Snopy leveled up.
Energy Manipulation: Energy manipulation remains the same, except now he can control even larger quantities and, unlike his Shikai, can do much more at once before he begins to damage himself. His control is more precise, accurate, and faster. However, if he pushes himself to far (which as stated, he can do MUCH more before this happens) the injuries will generate on his body slightly faster. Not only that, if he pushes himself, even if he doesn't appear to be taking damage from how much he pushes himself (some wounds may not appear because his energy is holding them shut), once his energy ebbs TOO much or he exits Bankai, wounds may suddenly open up. What was once holding them shut would no longer be active/strong enough, and he could risk losing his life if he doesn't control his power enough. And same as before, he can technically output so much energy that he'd kill himself quite quickly. The damage would be immense, but he'd also be dead.
- Critical Mass: Same as Shikai, however the explosions can be done a little faster and, if he tries, he can make the explosions reach a 100 meter radius, making the max this ability can do quite devastating. Snopy aims for damage rather than wide coverage.
- Kidō: Exactly the same as Shikai, just the spells are stronger because of augmentations.
Light
- Piercing Light: Quite the same as before, just stronger. 5 post cooldown.
- Ardent Blaze: The range increases to 400 feet, it lasts for 5 posts, and the speed boost is SLIGHTLY larger than before. Otherwise, more of the same. 5 post cooldown.
- The Culling: In a 7 second period, he can now fire up to 1000 blasts. This is separate from his Bankai's pistol because it fires blasts of it's power faster than the Bankai pistol can. Probably not quite as devestating as 1000 Cero a second, but for it's purpose of mass clearing of targets it gets the job done. As before, don't be hit unless you can block or deflect it. 1000 direct unblocked hits is more than enough to severely wound most targets. 7 post cooldown.
Vizard Abilities
Inner Hollow Appearance: Ayako is strange, as she looks nothing like one would expect a hollow to look. Her body is nothing more than that of a 16 year old girl. Her frame is quite small. It is entirely possible she weighs less than 100 lbs easily. She is only about 5'2 feet tall, making her rather short as well. There is absolutely nothing menacing about her. In fact, many people would find her attractive.
Her most notable feature is probably her hair. It is a bright red color and extends down her back. It actually makes her rather hard to miss. It is usually done in a large ponytail. Her eyes are also red. They aren't bright, the color is almost dull, but they somehow add to her cute innocent look. Her bust isn't very large, probably being about a B cup. Her legs are a bit long (comparatively speaking to most her height), and adds to her attractiveness.
She always wears something simple. She has something akin to a one piece sweater. It has long sleeves, reveals her upper chest a bit, and goes down slightly past her underwear. This leaves her legs mostly exposed, and depending on how she sits her underwear may peak out a bit. She has black socks that go somewhat up her calf. All of this is to make her look extra attractive, as being a tease it one of her past-times.
Inner Hollow Personality: Ayako has little of the blind aggression many of her kind are known for. In fact, the main aspect of her personality may be based off seduction. She is a huge tease with anyone she can be, which is usually Snopy. Her voice is cute when she speaks, but it generally has seductive undertones. In fact, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if she was actually trying to get somewhere with this routine.
With Fumiko, she tends to tease her, which always makes her mad. Ayako finds this pleasurable, as she loves to get a reaction out of people. She often comments on how much better looking she is, commonly causing Fumiko to try and prove her wrong. It oddly never ends in blows, though it has often come close. Ayako does find Fumiko's defensiveness of Snopy rather irritating, because it makes it more difficult for her to mess with him.
With Reiko, she actually can hold something of a conversation. True, the two don't really like each other, but Reiko's curiosity leads to questions. The questions lead to many different topics, and seem to never really go poorly. Still, it is obvious the two would probably tear each other apart if Reiko didn't desire to learn out of intrigue. With Snopy, she is quite random. Often she goes up to Snopy and teases him, tempts him, and who knows what else. She goes to great lengths to make him uncomfortable, often walking up to him and rubbing parts of her body against him. Ayako tries, but she never seems to be able to really bug him or mess with him.
She is also quite confused. Snopy, the one who she has tried to harm most, is the one who bears no anger towards her. There is no grudge, and he actually treats her almost kindly. Ayako does not understand it, but she feels no will power anymore to attack him. She just doesn't want to. When Snopy goes to kindly talk to her, she responds positively and the two can hold an actual conversation. She still teases him a lot, but it is almost playful now. She genuinely does not dislike him anymore, and has actually become content to being trapped in his inner world. To her, it has oddly become home. The level of connection between the two is something very rare for a Shinigami and a hollow. This could be perhaps a result of her origin, being some of Yoshine's hollow energy that seeped into Snopy before he was born, creating an unusual bond between Shinigami and hollow.
On a final note of interest, she is a sadist and a masochist. She loves causing pain, and she loves feeling it. She laughs and laughs when someone is hurt, and she is often known to lick the blood on her wounds just for the taste and feel. Perhaps this is why her regeneration is so strong, as she can be found inflicting self harm on herself when bored.
Hollow Mask Appearance: The Eyepatch
Vizard Abilities: Enhanced Speed: Snopy, like most (if not all) Vizard, gets a speed boost upon dawning his mask. As he has mastered controlling his inner hollow, so has his augments become more powerful. He becomes much faster with his mask on. He is harder to hit and keep track of, and even some stronger opponents might have trouble keeping up with him.
Enhanced Strength: Also like most Vizard, Snopy gains a boost in strength when he puts on his mask. His low strength is brought up a level, allowing him to fair far better in physical combat than without the mask on. He still isn't the strongest, but he can cause decent damage, and when combined with a Shikai or Bankai boost, his physical blows can become somewhat dangerous.
Cero: Snopy's specialty is energy attacks. Therefore, he obviously is quite skilled in using Cero. So long as his mask is dawned, he can fire very powerful Cero, which also have a very short charge time. The blasts can cause some devastating damage if hit directly, and the fast charge up allows a surprise attack from close range and long range. His Cero should not be underestimated, especially if his Zanpakutō is released giving him even greater energy manipulation abilities which he can use to add to his Cero. His Cero can cause rather large explosions if he puts a little effort into it.
Regeneration: To make up for his low durability, Snopy makes up for it with his regeneration. Snopy has inherited his inner hollow's regeneration, and so long as he remains in touch with her power, he can regenerate. Smaller wounds can be healed in an instant, and Snopy's regeneration is so strong he can ever restore limbs using it. It only takes him a few seconds to do so, and logically speaking, he has to have sufficient energy to do so. Snopy's ability to restore most wounds is something to be feared, as it can keep him in fighting condition so long as he has energy and does not take serious damage to the organs, as they cannot be restored instantly and require a decent amount of time out of battle to restore.
Synchronization: A rather unique ability that Snopy has gained, utilizing his close bond with his inner hollow. The connection between the 2 is so powerful, they can actually meld together into almost a single conscience. Basically, Snopy and Ayako fuse their energy and also have their consciousness partially synchronized. Thus, while still separate entities, they each have traits of the other mixed in (personality wise). This causes Snopy to obtain a large boost in his hollow powers for the duration. While transformed like this, his eyes are always a bright silver color. When he speaks, his and Ayako's voice are heard saying the same words in perfect unison. Snopy's personality reflects Ayako's in many ways. He becomes somewhat sadistic, enjoying to cause pain to his enemies, and he constantly taunts them. He even slightly enjoys pain, and if wounded may be seen licking the wound as if he enjoys it. It might be unsettling to some that know him, but it effectively scares the crap out of some foes. Despite how scary he seems, his morals are still in tact. He still won't harm an innocent, and he still cares about the people close to him all the same and will protect them with his life.
As a result of the synchronization, Snopy sacrifices many of his strengths as a Shinigami for the strengths of a hollow. Snopy loses all of his Kidō, and the ability to release his Zanpakutō. However, Snopy gains immensely increased strength, and durability. Where he used to be a super fast ranged glass cannon, he is now more of a close ranged monster. As he loses his Hoho as well, he actually reduces in speed, but to say he is slow would be a blatant lie. While slower, he is still very fast and can do a technique almost identical to Sonido in appearance to compensate for his lack of Shunpo, granted this "Sonido" is also less refined and as such is slower than his standard Shunpo. Snopy loses most of his ranged power as well as some of his speed, so how much do his other traits increase to compensate? Snopy's physical strength is immensely bolstered. Now his strikes aren't just dangerous because his sword is super sharp. His sword is now dangerous because he can strike hard. Not only does his skill over fast techniques make him able to strike precisely, but now even when a strong opponent blocks, he can handle the impact, or even overpower them. On top of this, his durability is massively increased. The hollow energy runs through every single inch of his body, layering throughout and bolstering it. The result is now Snopy can take a punch. He can be struck by a sword and stand right back up so long as nothing too vital was struck. He can be punched and hurdled through several walls of solid steel and be able to still fight. Taking hits still make him worse for wear obviously, but he can endure for much longer than before. Also, it means he can block powerful strikes with his sword and not injure is arm in the process! Snopy does still have Cero, and he can charge it quickly from the tip of his finger. It fires pretty quickly and still hits hard, but it by no means compares to what he can do at a range outside of synchronization.
Of course, that doesn't mean he doesn't have ANY tricks up his sleeve. The values listed here are based on his stage 1 fusion.
Mantis Slash: Strikes with such force that it could actually boil water. Of course, this doesn't happen often, but if he did it would boil water in a process known as supercavitation, creating bubbles that will quickly collapse and produce a powerful shock wave that could deal additional damage, or strike an opponent that Snopy's sword missed. However, should he not be striking at liquid, his body ejects energy in a bubble like form that has a similar effect, collapsing and causing a shock wave. This strike will NOT boil a targets blood and cause the effect, however, the shock wave that always results from this ability could cause additional concussive damage even on a target successfully slashed. This move is actually named after the mantis shrimp, but shrimp slash sounds strange. 3 post cooldown.
Fury Cutter: Snopy channels some of his hollow energy (and some sadism as well) into his blade, and then strikes at an opponent. Should the strike land, the energy in his body surges and powers up his body, causing the power in his arms to increase by 10% (while it sounds small, with how strong he already is this is actually a rather sizable jump). He can continue to do this until he reaches a maximum of 150% power in his strikes. However, this move is actually stabilized by sadism. Should he fail to have blade meet flesh (and cause at least a cut) within 15 seconds all the stored up power is lost and the ability goes on cooldown for 5 posts. It also goes on cooldown if he throws a fury cutter slash and misses. Slicing his own flesh does NOT keep fury cutter going or power it up.
Synchronization doesn't exactly have forms, rather they are more stages of the fusion. Each stage is a more complete fusion, and as a result the form's power increases. For each stage, the power of his Cero does increase slightly.
Stage 1 Fusion
This is the base once Snopy synchronizes with his hollow. It is the simplest form. The fusion is incomplete. Outwardly Snopy's only appearance change is his eyes turn silver, and his energy becomes a red color. His voice is somewhat dominant over Ayako's, so while they speak in unison Snopy's voice is much louder. This is effectively an unreleased form, he is no stronger than unsynchronized without his Zanpakutō released, but rather than incredible speed and Kidō he has strength, durability, with some manner of speed.
Stage 2 Fusion
The Fusion becomes more complete than in his simplest base. This is still technically weaker than a Shinigami's Shikai, but stronger than unreleased forms typically are. Snopy's strength and durability are slightly increased, though his speed remains mostly the same as stage 1. As a result his abilities become stronger, and fury cutter gain's 11% power per stage, increasing the maximum power up to 155%. His aura darkens a bit, being a slightly darker red and Ayako's voice is more noticeable, rather than a distant echo. Ayako's personality traits become slightly more evident in Snopy's actions.
Stage 3 Fusion
The fusion is truly beginning to refine as Snopy now reaches his Shikai release's level of power. Ayako's voice is now clearly audible, if not still slightly overpowered by Snopy's voice. It is here the eye patch that makes up Snopy's Vizard mask forms, though he is capable of removing it with no negative effects to his power, as in synchronization it is no longer the key to his hollow power. The aura darkens further to a deeper red. Ayako's personality traits also become stronger once more. His strength and durability increase further, making him an incredibly difficult target to take down. His speed DOES increase slightly, but to a very minor extent. The cooldown on Mantis Slash and Fury cutter drop by one post, giving a 2 post cooldown for Mantis slash (as in there are 2 posts where it can't be used) and a 4 post cooldown for fury cutter. Fury cutter further improves, giving a 12% increase in power per successful strike, up to a maximum of 160%.
Stage 4 Fusion
The fusion has become incredibly powerful, with Ayako’s voice nearing Snopy’s in volume. The aura is now a deep blood red. It’s power is in between that of his Shikai and Bankai, and his strength and durability are augmented even more as a result. Snopy’s hair at this point has a single red highlight, the color of his inner hollow’s hair, indicating the sheer power of the fusion. His abilities become stronger once more, with Fury Cutter jumping to 13% increase per successful strike, to a max of 165%. Not only does Snopy’s personality have heavy hints of Ayako’s in it, but now even his aura seems reflect this, capable of causing a slight feeling of uneasiness just from being near him, unless one is simply unmoved by such feelings (if the sadistic attitude doesn’t freak someone out, the aura most certainly won’t), or they’ve been around him in synchronization enough to acclimate.
Stage 5 Fusion
The fusion has neared perfection. Ayako’s voice is the same volume as Snopy’s as they speak in perfect unison, though something does seem slightly off. The aura isn’t just blood red, the color scheme makes it look like blood is flowing around him. Snopy’s hair has become longer in reflection of Ayako’s hair length, though it does not become as long as hers, and red streaks are seen throughout his hair. This form is effectively what happens when Snopy releases his Bankai in terms of power. His strength and durability are increased even further making him incredibly difficult to take down. The damage he can deal with the swing of his sword is immense at this point, and the hits he can take even more so. His speed slightly increases once again, though he is still slower than unsynchronized, and foes who specialize in speed can still often outspeed him (assuming they are at least near him in overall power). Mantis slash can now be used every other post, and Fury Cutter now has a 3 post cooldown. Fury cutter’s power also increases 15% per successful strike, to a max of 175%.
Perfect Fusion
This is the absolute pinnacle of Snopy's synchronization, a true fusion between Shinigami and inner hollow, where he and Ayako truly become one for a time. This form differs drastically from previous fusions as the imperfections of the fusion actually severely dampened Snopy's Shinigami powers. Snopy doesn't have a Resurrection, and he never will. Resurrection is a hollow being restored to it's "true" form, but to say a hollow form was his true form would be a lie. Snopy became a Shinigami through natural processes, thus he is a Shinigami. However, he is hollow/Arrancar by blood. Thus, both are equally part of who Snopy is. It is for these reasons that Snopy doesn't actually have the capability for a Resurrection, or at the very least not a traditional one, seeing as "Perfect Fusion" is in a way his true form. This carries the same power as any other Vizard's Resurrection however, even if form and function are different. One strange result of the fusion is that while the massive power spike ends based on when Snopy exhausts his energy supply, the fusion does not undo itself for a short while after the fusion ends, likely because the fusion consumes so much energy that the energy needed to properly undo it needs a few hours to rebuild.
Perfect Fusion Appearance: Snopy completely retains his normal size and humanoid form, uncharacteristically for such a large amount of power being drawn from his inner hollow. Snopy's hair has grown in length to be quite long, going down his back. His hair doesn't simply have a red streak, but his entire head is covered in individual red and blonde hairs, not streaked but simply mixed together. This creates a very odd appearance, in which his hair almost appears to shine both gold and red at the same time. His eyes remain silver as in previous fusions, but at times, especially when launching attacks, they can temporarily shift to a crimson red. His clothing changes, with him wearing an open brown trench coat, extending down past his knees. On the back of the trench coat is a solid black insignia, the insignia of the Vizard Squadron. Below the trench coat he has a white shirt, bearing on the front the insignia of the 5th squad of the Gotei 13, despite him being long resigned from his old title of Captain. His pants go down towards his feet, and are a solid black, and have almost a stylish, but not dressy, look to them. On his feet he wears a pair of sandals, which despite being seemingly out of place flow with the rest of the outfit surprisingly well.
Perfect Fusion Personality: Snopy's personality is drastically different, yet somehow the same, during perfect fusion. It is literally the result of the temporary fusing of consciousness between Snopy and his inner hollow. Therefore, it is Snopy, and it is his inner hollow. And yet, it is very different. Snopy himself still remains intact. His memories remain, his core beliefs, his feelings for other people. However, he also obtains access to Ayako's memories, her personality melds with his and blends together with it. He still believes quite deeply in his philosophy of protecting those who need to be protected, and protecting those he cares about. He would never hurt an innocent, and would never hurt someone he loved unless it was absolutely necessary. In contrast to his previous levels of fusion, he isn't completely sadistic. He has more control over how he reacts to things, and as such can hide more sadistic tendencies in order to avoid frightening a loved one. Still, he does enjoy causing his enemies pain, and the greater their "crime" against him (be it hurting an innocent, a loved one, etc.) the more pleasure he gets out of it. He isn't afraid to show it either, so long as he isn't hiding it for someone else's sake. Upon taking a hit and feeling pain, he'd often laugh and even thank his opponent, showing he still also has a masochistic side. Meanwhile he maintains a mixture of his intellect and Ayako's more aggressive side in combat.
Snopy's interactions with his friends can be quite odd compared to what they are used to. Snopy refers to himself as "We" instead of "I" in this form, thus with his voice being a mix of his and his inner hollow's speaking at once a little odd. In retaining his memories, he may recall things with feelings and opinions that vary somewhat from what he'd have before fusion. He's a bit more forward in some respects, and is willing to say things that he otherwise might have kept to himself normally. Still, he is never mean spirited to those he calls friends. At the same time, the opinions of Ayako might also show themselves, which can be awkward at times, though if people understood the nature of the fusion they'd know it wasn't Snopy talking when it really wasn't his opinions. While they refer to themselves as "We", if it is referring very specifically to either Ayako or Snopy the appropriate gender pronouns are used to signify who is talking about who. Ayako does envy Snopy's relationships a bit, so it isn't uncommon for the fusion personality to point out something she thinks he is lucky to have in this form. If Ayako feels someone is appreciating Snopy too little, the fusion personality might even lash out in defense, showing that Ayako does really care for him. In these ways, the fusion shows itself to be it's own person. There isn't a division between Ayako and Snopy's personalities when actions such as what was previously described happen. Rather, it is the fused personality itself speaking out to defend one of the individuals involved in the fusion. While Snopy normally is willing to playfully flirt, he's even more willing to do it during the fusion.
Romance is a little awkward. Thankfully this fusion is only for the most intense of fights, and goes away a few hours after the fight has concluded, so this usually isn't a problem. The fusion personality feels the romantic interest (Kanna as it stands) is both their own, and someone else's. That is it their romantic partner by proxy, but that by that logic it isn't their romantic partner. While it retains the feelings Snopy felt before the fusion, it is completely unwilling to act on them, no matter how strongly they surface. This is probably a good thing as the object of said affection would most likely find it awkward to be with the fused personality, since it isn't JUST Snopy. As such, the fused personality will try to avoid any romantic or flirty interactions with the object of it's affections. The only exception being during the most intense of fights, where they don't know if they will make it out alive, they would reaffirm that "he" loves them (he being Snopy in his normal state).
