Personality: Miko takes after her Mother in one huge way; she has a one track mind. Her mother has insisted she learn not to focus all of her energy into one thing, so she's learning to do that, but it's practically in her nature to be very determined in one aspect. At the moment, Miko's focus is on one thing and that is becoming a well known singer or pop star. She wants to be famous! She wants to be someone that people ask for autographs and pictures with. She wants to be on a stage in front of millions of people to sing songs and preform them. She wants to hear an audience go "encore" at least once in her life. Because of this, her focus is very strong on staying healthy, never failing a class, taking vocal lessons, taking dance lessons, doing as much karaoke as possible, preforming in the school choir, and preforming on stage any time she gets a chance. She often signs up for amateur singing performances and talent contests. Miko keeps up with the newest music that comes out and goes to see as many concerts as she possibly can. She does all this to study the people who are currently famous and use some of their techniques.

Miko Ichinose may take after her Mother with her one track mind and that beautiful black hair (who knows where those red eyes came from), but a few of her other traits come from other places. Being raised on little memory and by a family she loves and adores, she has become a very happy person. She's cheerful all the time and keeps a cute smile on her face. She has two younger siblings and one on the way (on her aunt's side, but she calls them brother and sister anyway), so she's also very responsible. She loves teaching them and taking care of them. She does her chores on time and often turns it into a game to have the little one's help her out for a bit. Her Aunt and Uncle own a bar, so she helps out with cleaning there as well. Since her Aunt is pregnant, she tries to help as much as possible for the time being. Since Miko is very good at scheduling, and being organized, she is still able to make time for her music and singing. Like her Mother, she is a young girl who keeps her word and stays very dedicated to what she is doing. Miko is not someone who gives up on what she wants, and once she sees what she wants she puts all her effort into it.

There is one thing that definitely did not come from Yua or anyone who watches her. Miko is a little prideful and egotistical at times. Of course she only acts this way when she knows for a fact she deserves it, but she does have a tendency to talk herself up at times. When she does it, it's usually done in a playful manner, so she's never ever trying to put someone else down. At times she can be a little cocky, but when she is doing that, she always has the right to do so. It's never a case of undeserving ego. Still, Miko knows exactly when it needs to quit. She won't go overboard or disrespect people. Miko is someone who actually respects other's, especially authority. She feels that if they got to a place of authority, they worked hard to get there, so she won't insult them. The only time this may change is if the person isn't kind and/or obviously does not deserve the position they've been given. Miko is also someone who expects the most out of everyone. She gives everything she does 100%, so she expects that of others. She can sometimes be strict because of this. If you're not going to give it your all, then you don't want it bad enough or deserve it.

Character Background: Miko has multiple backgrounds to her. Why? Because every now and then she loses her memory. Well, she doesn't lose her memory, but it's sealed away by her mother and her mother's friend. To allow her to live a normal life, once they entered the twentieth century, Miko decided she wanted to try to live among normal people. To grant Miko her wish, her mother, Yua Ichinose, found someone who knew how to seal away memories. Once this was done, Yua placed her daughter in the care of a woman she trusted and sent Miko off to school. Since Miko doesn't age because of what she is, a Shinigami, this process has to be repeated every few years and she has to move locations, otherwise she would be find out. Once the third World War took place, Yua wondered if she should stop repeatedly sealing away her daughters memories, but has yet to stop. Because of this Miko Ichinose still sits in her fourteen year old body with little memory of her past and who she and her mother really are.

After the last memory wipe two years ago, Miko is only aware of a single thing. The thing she is aware of is that her mother is Yua Ichinose, who is not always around because of her mysterious job. Miko often has fantasies of her mother being a super spy, a secret agent, or some sort of ninja because of this. Miko and her mother are a lot closer than you would expect since Yua is never around. When she is around, they have the greatest time. Her mother is always supportive and fights to make sure her daughter has what she wants. Miko loves being able to brag about her friendship with her mother. That is what they call it, a friendship. Miko recognizes her Mother's authority, but also views it more as guidance than anything else. Her mother has never stirred her wrong before, so why would it suddenly start now? After this, Miko's current history is actually that of a normal young girl growing up in Karakura Japan.

It was very early in the morning when Miko woke up. The sun hadn't even come up yet. She sat up a little dazed. She was confused because she couldn't recognize anything around her, even if it was her home. She stood up, a little wobbly at first, and made her way into the hall. A small light plugged into the wall lit her way. She heard a sound and made her way towards it. As she got closer, she could tell someone was laughing. She had made her way into the kitchen to see two women standing there. They didn't notice her at first, but after a few moments of Miko observing them, they turned to her and smile. "Welcome back, sweetheart." the red eyed woman said, "I know it's hard to understand right now, but you've lost some of your memory. Everything will be okay..." The woman stepped toward her. Miko was scared at first, but the woman's smile was able to calm her quite easily. She didn't feel the need to run.

"I'm your Mother..." With that, Miko was home. Over time, she was able to relearn what she needed to. She enrolled in school again, most knowledge coming naturally, and began living a normal life. She is unaware of the fact that she actually does have power because she hid her Zanpakutō away when all of this memory sealing stuff first started. Miko and her Mother, Yua Ichinose, became very close in her second year at school. Miko joined the choir and Yua never missed an event or concert. She did everything for Miko, even bought her the things she needs to deal with school, sports, and other things like that. If Miko ever asked for anything, as long as her grades were good, her Mother did what she could to make it happen. While her Mother is gone, Miko is taken care of by her Mother's friend Yukino and her family, who she calls her aunt, cousins, and uncle. Living with them is both a blessing and curse. Why? Babysitting.
