Personality:  Ayame has a problem making friends in a way that is unlike most people in the world. It's not that it's hard for her, but she feels a need to be accepted by others. Until she is accepted and can trust that those around her aren't going to treat her badly, she doesn't usually show very much care towards them. She can still smile and converse with people, but whether she actually cares about them is usually unknown to anyone until she speaks out about it. At times she can seem rather emotionless or hateful towards someone, but that is not completely intentional, of course depending on the situation. One of Ayame's greatest personality traits is the fact that she is extremely cooperative with anyone she has to work with. She has no problem adjusting her plans or strategies in order to work peacefully with another person. She can adapt to other peoples orders, suggestions, and commands rather well and without being offended by it. The only time she will go against someone's plans is if she knows for a fact and without any doubt that they are completely wrong and that they are going to cause something bad to happen if they continue on their path. Ayame has always been a very motivated young woman when it comes to her education. She doesn't want to be one of those people who are making minimum wage or using welfare to get through life. She wants to be a person that can get what she wants when she wants it. She refuses to be at the bottom of the 'economical food chain' like she had been when she was younger. This motivation also helps her get through a lot more than just school. She uses it to do her job correctly and quickly, to strengthen her body, and to become a well rounded woman.

Ayame isn't one who drops her duties or pushes them off. If there is something that needs to be done, she'll get it done right on time, if not early. If someone else is supposed to be doing something and they aren't doing it, she'll more than likely get it done, although she will take credit for it. She won't let someone else take credit for something she did. Her time management skills are almost perfect. Unless something happens that is completely out of her control, she probably won't be late. Ayame likes it when everything is organized. She isn't obsessed with it to the point where if somethings out of place she has to fix it, nor would she go to far as to put things in alphabetical order, but she won't allow things to get too out of place. This also goes for her clothing. She doesn't like things to be baggy or too loose. Keeping things and herself clean also goes along with this. She takes baths regularly and keeps herself healthy. She always keeps her room clean and constantly keeps her clothes washed. Ayame is very much used to getting through things by herself. She never had the help or support of family when she was younger, so she was constantly on her own. She will not ask for help unless absolutely desperate and at times will get herself into situations that no one wants to be in because of this. She pays for her own things, refusing to rely on her anyone else. She takes care of herself in every way you can think of. She doesn't think she even needs anyone else. This trait can some times cause her to feel very alone in the world, but she is unsure of how to live life any other way.

Ayame is very talented and this shows with her singing and skill with the violin. Those are three things that she really enjoys doing. She also likes cats. Her favorite food is a special dish she made up herself, a garlic pasta with chopped chicken and mixed vegetables. Her favorite drink is milk, it's practically all she ever drinks. She enjoys all types of music, but her favorite “classical” group is the Celtic Woman, since her voice can match them. The biggest thing that Ayame does not like is a pervert. Whether it's a teenage boy with a habit of touching girls' backsides at school while flirting, or a molester sneaking up on her in a park, she hates them. She also dislikes bugs, hates snakes, and the idea of being buried alive. She also doesn't like it when people startle or scare her, but that's not as bad as anything else. She'll usually just get a little annoyed if people try. She gets slightly frightened of thunder storms and highly dislikes the idea of being restrained.

Background: Ayame was born to a highly uncaring and selfish family in America. She has five brothers and eight sisters, giving her a total of thirteen siblings, her being the sixth born. Her parents used the fact that they had so many children to take advantage of the government and get more and more money from them. Hardly any of this money was spent on her or her siblings. Instead, while being given the bear minimum of food and maybe two outfits each child, their parents were having fun drinking, partying, and buying themselves what they wanted. One day, after getting sick of the utter bullshit and calling the police, child protective services came in and arrested their parents and sent each child off. All of the children were separated, some adopted, others pulled into foster homes, others into orphanages. Ayame never saw her family again. Drifting on from orphanage to orphanage, Ayame thought about her brother's and sister each night, wondering whether any of them were safe, healthy, or happy. For quite some time, Ayame felt like she was stuck in temporary homes. She never felt like she really belonged anywhere. Being the new kid who was poor in town after town, she got picked on quite a lot. She was never comfortable with anything that was going on with her. She stopped smiling for some time and ended up forcing up smiles when people would constantly ask her what her problem was. She became very aloof in her younger years and avoided most people. Since she kept being tossed between houses, she never really got a chance to know anyone.

When she turned fifteen, she was sent off to Japan to live with some soldier as a part of a weird program. She she had yet to be adopted by anyone, so they felt she would be the perfect choice for whatever program this was. She was lead onto a base and to a group of people that came as strangers to her. One of these strangers was a beautiful woman that was actually able to catch Ayame's eye. She soon learned that this woman was the one that she was going to be living with and learning from for a time being. The woman's name was Kameko. The two didn't seem like they would get along at first, but after some time passed, Ayame realized that Kameko actually did care for her. It was a new, shocking feeling that she didn't understand at first. It took a few hugs and smiles to get Ayame to realize that this woman was different than her parents. She wasn't selfish. She definitely was strict and enjoyed bringing the military into their relationship. It was Kameko that taught Ayame how to fire off a gun in the proper manner. One day, Ayame actually hit the bullseye on the target, creating a bonding moment between the two. Time continued to pass and it was common to see them standing side by side in the shooting range, firing off their guns at the same time. Ayame never beat the accuracy of Kameko, but she was definitely getting better. It actually didn't take too long for them to get close to each other, though Ayame had yet to call Kameko Mom.

Ayame didn't call Kameko Mom for a few reasons. First, she didn't think Kameko wanted to be seen as her Mother. Secondly, they weren't blood related. Thirdly, Kameko didn't seem like the type. She was strict and very into the military thing. She had a kind and gentle side, but because of her background and what she did for a living, Ayame felt like she would only get in Kameko's way. Lastly, even though they were always together Ayame was not under Kameko's record as an adopted child. She had merely been placed under her guidance until they could find another. It hurt Ayame to think of that, but it was understandable. She wanted someone to actually want her as a child, not have her set in someone's care. She wanted to be chosen. One day (two years later), Kameko came to her with papers and showed them to Ayame. After reading through, Ayame looked to Kameko as if she couldn't believe it. "Y-You.. want to... adopt me?" she asked and Kameko nodded. Ayame broke out into tears and hugged Kameko, accepting the offer and finally calling Kameko her Mother. "I had been wanting to call you that for so long... I just didn't think you'd like it." Ayame told her and Kameko merely confirmed her feelings. Finally, Ayame had a wonderful Mother who really cared about her. It was then that Ayame decided that there was no way in hell that she would let Kameko down. She was going to do everything she could as a daughter to make sure that Kameko would never be disappointed in her. So, came the next three years with a Mother.

Though, about one year and three months ago, just after everything was beginning to settle, Ayame began getting extremely bad headaches in the middle of the night. That's how it started. Soon, she began having nightmares of her running around the city, causing trouble, and hurting people. Though all of the people in her dreams seemed to deserve it, most of them being thugs, muggers, punks along those lines... etc. She still felt restless. Every morning she would wake up in a sweat and felt as if she was not getting any sleep what so ever. One day, after three weeks of secretly dealing with this, she woke up covered in blood. In a panic, she burned all of those clothes and refused to go to sleep for a few nights. She forced herself to stay awake until she ended up falling asleep in front of the TV. Again, Ayame woke up with blood all over her clothes, except this time she was woken up by her Mother, Kameko. All she could do was looked to her Mother with horror in her eyes and ask, "M-Mom... What is happening to me?!" After some observation and about a month of restless nights, they were able to get it under control. They found out that in the middle of the night, she would 'transform' into a different person. Her eyes would turn red and she would run through the city hunting people down and hurting them, while at the same time protecting others. After some practice, Ayame began learning to control and prevent this automatic take over, but through times of stress, fear, or anger it was noted to come out forcibly and take control of her. Because of that, Ayame merely has learned to watch herself.


Natural Abilities:

Arms Expert: All thanks to Mom! Ayame has gotten pretty damn good with guns, pistols being her more skilled weapons. She doesn't feel too comfortable using the larger weapons because of the recoil. She's not exactly the strongest or more steady person, so being knocked back by recoil is not the best. With a pistol though, she usually hits her mark. Beyond skill, she is quite knowledgeable, able to spot a guns type rather quickly.

Moderate Spear User: Though she has not mastered the usages of longer weapons (spears, pikes, etc..), she has begun learning how to use them to a degree. Because of her recently discovered ability, Ayame has forced herself to practice and train using them. She's gotten pretty good, but has a long way to go.


Type: Jìnéng [Internal]
Appearance change: Her attitude changes a bit. She turns into a more aggressive, demanding, and 'to the point' type of person. She's easily excited by getting vengeance for someone and has a tendency to get a little loud at times, but besides that she is pretty much the same. She merely gets to release all of her frustrations out on those she ends up hunting at night after turning into this. This change happens mostly when she's stressed out in some way.


Abilities:

Dark Detection: The first ability that comes with her transformation is this strong ability to detect 'darkness'. By darkness, I mean negative intent in any form. No matter how minor it is, if the person's intent at the moment is to harm someone other than themselves, she can sense that. The strongest intent within a two mile radius is the one that she will lock in on. If there are multiple in one area, she will lock in on the one that is closest.

Hellafied A.S.S.: Yes. I did that. Why? Because it's funny and I don't want to explain the fact that her agility, speed, and strength are all ten times the Olympic-leveled runner is! Yes, in that tiny, sexy body of hers is the ability to move and hit harder and faster than most humans. Sure! She can't keep up with the other dead people of the world, bu ya know what? That isn't always needed. Since she uses this to be able to get to people in need as quickly as possible, she is quite satisfied with her body's abilities. She can punch a brick wall and crumble it without harming herself. She can move through the streets fast enough that people don't realize she passed. And she can move her body in strange manners to get from one place to another, such as flipping around up a fire escape without using the damn stairs.

Halberd: As seen in the picture above, Ayame is able to summon a Halberd out of thin air. There is nothing special (currently) about this Halberd and is quite regular. She obviously uses it to fight, but all of her skill with it comes from practice that she did after she realized what was happening to her.
