Personality:As a child, Raiden had a very pleasant and kind disposition, always being and generous towards everyone that he met but over the years his personality has changed due to events that he keeps to himself. He is now quiet and reserved, trying to stay out of problems and be an observer to gauge an appropriate action to the situation before he acts. He is very calm and focused, never showing any sign of anger or lack of self-control and focusing on the task at hand. He is also a gentlemen who treats females with respect and never insults them in any way.He is  considered to be a proficient tactician as he will try to learn his opponent's weaknesses and analyze their style throughout the fight.

He is very independent and self-reliant, trying never to depend on the help of others as to not drag them into his personal problems. He shows a good sense of loyalty to people who are his friends and companions as to him if someone has earned his respect he will always treat them with kindness and generosity. He likes to always be made aware of any situation as he likes to keep order and detests anarchy. He is also very intuitive and has a great understanding of the enigma and capacity of the human mind.

He is very a subtle and good listener. Always generously offering useful and effective advice to others when it is needed. He is very reliable at keeping secrets and is not the type to go back on his word. He behaves in a very different manner towards his enemies and people that doesn't know as he is not very trusting to strangers. He displays a very unperturbed and cold demeanor to them and never shows dismay or becoming agitated by them.

Unreleased Abilities:
Mukei-sei (Intangibility): By using the electricity in his body to stimulate and vibrate his molecules, he is able to line them up with the molecular structure of most surfaces and phase through them or allow them to pass through him but since he is in his base form there is a limit to how long he can remain intangible and to what he can phase through.

Denki no zōka shita jōken (Electrical Increased Condtion): His physical and mental abilities are enhanced by stimulating his nerves with electricity. He is able to move at a faster speed and his reaction time is condsiderably greater.

Seiteki resepushon (Static Reception): Raiden uses this technique to sense if anyone without reiatsu is in his vicinity. Based on the theory that predators use this to perceive the weak bioelectrical fields of their concealed targets. These bioelectric fields are produced by everything living due to the actions of their nerves and muscles.

Rateraru kyūin (Lateral Attraction): By channeling electricity through his Zanpakutō it then become a magnet capable of attracting and repelling his opponents. The larger or more powerful the opponent they are able to resist this technique.

Rateraru Hanpatsu-ryoku (Lateral Repulsion): Similar to the rule of his attraction technique, except that it involves him repelling his opponents. The same debility applies to this ability as well.  

Seiteki Sakuran (Static Derangment): By channeling electricity through his Zanpakutō, Raiden is able to increase  should he inflict damage on his opponent with his Zanpakutō his opponent will be unable to move in the way that they want due to the brain being incapable of interpreting the electrical signals from the human body.

Seiteki Sutorīmu (Static Stream): Raiden channels electricity into the ground to cover a wide radius by simply placing his hand onto a surface. This ability enables Raiden to keep his opponent from occupying a certain area or to reveal any person who was in hiding.  

Surasshu kiretsu (Fissure Slash): Using static derangment to channel electricity through his Zanpakutō. Raiden sends a crescent slash of electrical energy with the potential of slicing even a small mountain in half.

Bankai Abilities:
Nyūraru Parusu Sōsa (Neural Pulse Manipulation): The power to harness the synapses of the neural impulses in the body. This technique enables Raiden to perceive and manage the electrical charges that travel along the nerve fibers within any organism. He can kill or manipulate his opponent from blocking the heart's ability to contract or by either depriving or overloading the target with neural impulses. Memories can also be rewritten by implanting new synapses or by preventing them from accessing parts of their mind. He can also establish a link between organisms to mentally pick up and convey neural impulses as if they were their own to begin with, like making the target "hear" things to disorient them in crucial moments.

Burittsu Āku (Blitz Arc): Just like the name implies, it is a sudden and intense strike of lightning from the sky. Raiden uses the electricity from his body to raise the ambient temperature in the atmosphere to create something similar to that of a cumulonimbus cloud. When the thunder cloud is formed, he thing raises his Zanpakutō to act as a lightning rod which he then points to his opponent to mark them to be hit by the strike. This technique is impossible to block as lightning naturally hits the earth at one-thousandth of a second. The drawback to using this ability is that once it is used, it cannot be used for the rest of the battle.

Seiteki Fukusei (Static Replication): Raiden is able to create replicas of himself through the use of electricity. Since his duplicate forms are made out of electrcity should his enemy attack them directly they will be in for an electrical shock.

Denki no Hīringu (Electrical Healing): Involves charging and stimulating his nerves with enough energy for his tissue to regenerate from any non severe injury. Prolonged use will cause this ability to lose it's efficiency and take longer to heal his body.
