A relatively simple term, yet one that most people would simply shrug off as a minor personality trait, this being more then stupid. Intimidation in Basilio’s case has always been easy, making people fear the fact that he would injure or otherwise cause others harm, making it harder for people to choose going on the offensive, and simply cower and run away. Through Intimidation, Basilio has survived as a lesser Hollow, becoming stronger through the years. As an Arrancar, he uses his vast amounts of Reiatsu, together with his appearance to make people fear him, for he’d rather not fight if he does not truly have to do so. Intimidation may be manifested in such manner as physical contacts, glowering countenance, emotional manipulation, verbal abuse, making someone feel lower than Basilio, or by simple physical assault. What many choose to call an Aspect unworthy to an Espada, is what he personally believes to be one of the most potent ones, belonging to the top five of the Espada. By making other people fear you, they most likely make mistakes way easier, mistakes that are easily exploited and abused in a fight. To summarize, only those that have no fear or submissiveness in their being are truly safe from being intimidated.
Personality:
Proud
Proud is one of the best ways in which to describe Basilio, for he was once the strongest Hollow to walk the white sands of Hueco mundo. As an Arrancar, he is just one of many, no longer truly standing out as the strongest, though he refuses to believe that any of the other Espada can take him in a one on one fight. His proud nature is usually what keeps him out of fights, believing others to be beneath him, and that having to resort to violence and physical assault is a form of weakness. One that can not win a fight with words is already weaker then their opponent, or so he believes, something that adds to his quiet nature. As a proud person, he does not mind that he is considered as a Hollow breed by the rest of the world, realizing evil is just a matter of perception, and that from his side of the table, the others are evil and incapable of understanding. As such, he does not let foolish things such as revenge get in the way of maintaining his pride by looking like a fool.

Understanding
He has very specific ideals and thoughts about places such as the Soul society, and understands that the people of the Gotei thirteen do not like the Hollow race, and probably never will. Hollow have always been killing everything with a soul out of instinct, and have been the cause of lots and lots of pain, Basilio himself knowing very well the pain that comes with losing relatives to a hungry monsters. On the other side, he also feels why Arrancar are relatively aggressive towards the Shinigami, knowing that not all Arrancar are evil, despite the Soul society not acknowledging this fact in the slightest, and believing every breed of Hollow to be monsters that want every dimension barren of souls. In the current day and age, the two will most likely never get to work out their differences, and will always fight one another until one of them is eradicated. Understanding why he fights, he thinks that most other Arrancar fight solely for stupid things such as a misplaced vengeance or justice, believing them to be far from educated. This is how Basilio feels about the affairs between Hollow and Shinigami, and it is a mindset that will most likely never change.

Strong
Strong is a word that has many different forms, though Basilio embodies all of them. Having a strong and nearly unbreakable mind, a nearly unbreakable body and a mind set that won’t change for anyone. Basilio knows full well that he is a very strong individual that can break most people under the sheer pressure of his Reiatsu,

Silent
Basilio does not talk a whole lot, believing that words should only be used when they are not just being wasted on someone who will die anyway. To his own, Basilio might make an exception and say some things he deems necessary, though he never says much.

Lazy
Basilio is lazy, lazier then most people would give him credit for. Remaining behind closed door during most of the day, some people would believe he is training or doing something useful, though he is in fact just laying in the darkness of his room, covered by the warm blankets of his bed. One of the few things he enjoys in life is sleeping in a warm and comfortable bed, though he does not limit himself to sleeping in his room. When meetings become too boring or annoying for him to care, Basilio might even fall asleep in his chair.

Calm
For an Arrancar, this is a trait that is not seen a whole lot, and as a result can be considered unique. Unlike others, Basilio does not have immense levels of aggression, and is not prone to attacking and killing everything that offends him in the slightest. Remaining calm and level headed in about every given situation, he can even remain calm when someone hurts him, something most people are not capable of doing. Because his resistance to pain is so high, there is little to nothing in the world that can break his calm state of mind and cause him to go on a rampage.

Winner
In combat, Basilio is a winner, and he does not care a whole lot about how he has to do it either. Some people follow a very specific warriors code of honor, something he himself chooses not to do. As a Hollow, he learned that those who fought for survival could not live up to such things, and had to do things that went against such a code if they did not want to die. When the opponent is down, some would simply stop to see if they would get up, showing some restraint and giving them a chance, which is something Basilio would never do. Once the opponent is down, he will continue his assault until he can assure the death of his target, not caring for petty things such as ethics.

General Appearance

Appearance: Basilio is a very well built and tall man that stands at a height of 1,92m, making him one of the tallest Arrancar in Las Noches. Next to being rather tall, he has a very muscular build, though not the kind that is so buff that it obstructs his movement in the slightest. The color of his eyes are indigo, a certain shade of purple that colors well with his dark blue hair color. His hair is relatively short, but has a couple of long bangs that he usually pushes to one side of his face, covering one of his eyes and a small bit of his mask. His indigo eyes always have a menacing look to them, as if he is constantly in the mood to just lash out and kill someone with his bare hands, though only few know that this is not the case. The color of his skin is Caucasian, having a slight tan that he had in life, adding to the dark complexity of his body. The large “1” tattooed in the center of his chest goes to show to everyone that he is the Primera Espada, not bothering to cover this up with clothing.

In terms of clothing, he is usually wearing a ragged white shirt that’s tucked into his black trousers. This shirt has a very deep collar, going down far enough to show the Tattoo on his chest. His trousers are quite wide, and have the appearance of a Hakama, which together with his Haori shaped jacket gives him somewhat of a reverse Soul reaper appearance. He likes his current outfit better then the regular Arrancar uniform, and seeing as he is quite high ranked, he knows he can get away with not wearing it. The white jacket he wears is very ripped and torn at the lower end, showing that he has been around a very long time, and that he does not really changes clothes very often. To keep his Hakama styled pants up, he wears a black sash around his waist that goes to further compliment his attire. The different shades of black and white are what all the other Arrancar wear in and around Las Noches, making his chosen attire more then acceptable.

All together, his size, his muscular build and the way he clothes himself make him something to be feared. The Aspect of Intimidation is what is embodied by every inch of his body, for no one would like to be stared down by a muscular giant that seems like he can rip ones head off in a second. His Hollow mask covering his face, the hole above his chest, the “1” right above it and outfit are unconsciously matching the aspect of Intimidation, a fact some people realize, though it has never really gotten through to him.
Appearance Age: 25 Years Old
Mask Fragment: Basilio’s mask fragment takes the form of a face mask used by law enforcement officers on criminals, keeping them from biting or spitting at someone. This in itself adds to his rather fearsome appearance, because it frames his face by removing facial attributes such as the nose and the mouth, making him look more like a Hollow then a Human, at least in the facial area.

Natural Abilities

Unreleased Abilities:
Enhanced Hierro:
Basilio’s Hierro is much more compressed and hard then that of other Arrancar, simply because he has trained his body and mind to the next level, and has large amounts of Reiatsu swirling inside of him. Having learned how to compress this energy further, most do not even get close to cutting through his thick skin with a mere Zanpakutō. In fact, there are several Bankai level swords that fail to cut through his steel-like skin, making it seem as if he is an unshakable force. However, Basilio’s Hierro is far from absolute, for people who have the right amount of power and skill with their weapon will still be able to harm him and bypass his steel skin. As a user of Hakuda, his punches and kicks feel like someone is being clobbered with a wrecking ball, rather then a fist. To Basilio, this might just be the best technique in his arsenal, and the only one he really needs to win.

Shatter:
This is Basilio’s unreleased power, functioning through the augmentation of Reiryoku and Hakuda. By punching the target or an item that is naturally strong, he will leave a shred of his own energy that will make his next attack have more impact. This technique is very specific and powerful when used right. Depending on hitting the exact same spot, the same area or the same target, the effect of the technique might change quite a bit. This power can only be used in his unreleased form, seeing as his power substantially change after changing into his released forms.
Exact spot When hitting the same spot with the shatter technique, it will be 5% weaker to the next attack that hit’s that location. The effect stays on for four posts before reverting back to it’s regular state, giving it a rather easy way to work around it. Every hit will add another 5%, meaning that five hits to the same spot can make it 25% weaker to the next attack. By hitting the exact spot, it can rapidly weaken or reach the breaking point of a weaken or bones.
Same area Hitting a 10 centimeter area around the exact spot as the previous hit, it will become 2% weaker to the next hit, hitting the area where most of the Reiryoku is focused. This follows the same specifics as the above effect.
Same target Hitting the same target as was previously hit, it will only make a difference of 0.5%, which is basically nothing more then the previous hit. Because his Reiryoku is focused on the same target, it only makes a very little difference that can be compared to pretty much nothing.


Zanpakutō Appearance: Belicista’s unreleased form takes the shape of a black steel trench knife, rather then a Katana. Carrying it near his hip, he can easily grab it and use it in battle. The knife has four holes in it for each one of his fingers, not including his thumb. Having protruding blades on top of each finger hole, this blade is the perfect mixture of a knife and brass knuckles, allowing Basilio to use this weapon to enhance his Hakuda.

Resurrección

Resurrección Name: Belicista (Warmonger)
Resurrección Release Phrase: Pídales que temer, Belicista (Show them fear, Warmonger)
Resurrección Appearance: When his sword is released, eerie green Reiatsu lashes out in all directions around him, consuming him in the make-shift flames. Hidden from sight, the Hollow material that made up his mask covers his entire body in white armor. Creating white, segmented wings on his lower back, plated armor on his back and a segmented armor all over his body, Basilio will take the looks of an insectoid demon. His head gains armor shaped like a Samurai Yoroi, only gaining large horns and bearing sharp fangs that can shred flesh without any trouble. His hands and feet are not covered in the armor, and have gained long claws and pitch black skin. The tattoo on his chest has disappeared, and his hollow hole sunk about five centimeters, also becoming a bit bigger then it was in his unreleased form. His eyes are very well hidden, and despite people not being able to see them, he is not the least bit restricted from seeing where he is going.

Resurrección Abilities:
Augmented Hierro:
Pushed to even greater levels then before releasing, Basilio’s Hierro is now great enough to withstand most forms of damage, even elemental and kido based attacks can be shrugged off. The segmented layers of armor and the enhanced amounts of Reiatsu make it much harder for an opponent to hurt him. When compared to a mineral or an alloy, this Hierro can be compared to the hardness of Diamond, as opposed to the regular steel-like properties people tend to compare it to.

Untraceable:
Basilio’s release is a very peculiar one, making his Reiatsu pretty much untraceable by anyone. When Basilio uses Reiryoku based attacks such as Bala, Cero and attacks like it, he will be temporarily traceable, though it is normally cloaked entirely. Even the mighty Quincy can not track Basilio’s Reiatsu, showing that it is truly and completely hidden from everyone that might want to find him. This is what is used to initiate several other techniques.

Phase:
Due to him being untraceable most of the time, this advanced form of Sonido adds to him appearing to be a ghost in battle. Stepping from one place to the other, he makes no sound when disappearing or appearing, though it shares the same basics as a normal Sonido. When he initiates the technique, he becomes green and see-through, moments before he disappears, and once again when he re-appears. This is what can be used by the opponent to see that he is initiating it, for that’s the one thing that is easily notable.

Natural Weapons:
Regaining the weapons he used as a Hollow, his bladed wings and incredibly sharp claws are returned to his body. His blackened claws are just as sharp as his unreleased Zanpakutō, making them a great help when fighting in close combat through the use of his Hakuda. Capable of easily slashing and puncturing targets with his claws, he has no need for any fancy weapons or overly complicated Reiryoku based techniques at all.

Segunda Etapa

Segunda Etapa Name:
Segunda Etapa Release Phrase:
Segunda Etapa Appearance: This is Basilio’s final release, the Segunda Etapa form of Belicista. Where his former form was that of an insectoid monster, this one goes to find the perfect balance between Basilio’s human form, and his Hollow form. In this form, the armor on his body compresses onto his skin, forming a fine layer that is just as sturdy as in the previous release, just less bulky. The armor around his head also compressed, the horns molding together into more demonic looking ones growing straight up, the helmet itself clenching around the head in a much tighter fashion.
