Natural Abilities
Natural Abilities:
- Photographic Memory: Once Philip has seen something, he will always be able to recall it. This is more literal than photographic memories found in normal human beings, as he can virtually watch a 'video' of whatever he saw once playing back in his mind again.
- Inhuman Determination: Usually not seen often because of Philip's tendency to stand back once trouble hits home, but when needed, he can be incredibly determined - to the point where he can ignore life-threatening injuries until he passes out when need be.
Can See Spirits: Yes
Gaia Memory
The reason why Philip is not a normal human being anymore. Because of an event in his past, he has lost his old memory and self in exchange for something else - knowledge, and an endless amount of it to boot. He has access to the 'Gaia Memory' - an endless library of all events, people and places that ever were, are, will be, will never be and could've been, by diving into the 'Root', or 'Akasha', and 'scanning' it.
However, such an amount of information is too much for any mind to handle, so the Gaia Memory is usually closed off to Philip. To use it, he needs 'keywords' to focus on. For example, if you wanted to know the identity of a killer, you'd need to give him information - time of the murder, the place, the weapon used, the direction in which the murderer ran, and so on. The more information he gets, the more he narrows down the 'books' within his internal Gaia Library, until only a few (preferably only one) book remains holding the wanted information.
To immerse himself in the Gaia Memory, Philip uses a book with red cover, but all of the pages are empty. He is often seen reading up random information in it that only he can see, and which he will forget soon after reading them - the book itself has no power, and Philip could potentially use the Gaia Library without it, but it helps him concentrate.
Being so close to the Gaia Memory and Akasha has changed Philip in a different way, too - he is 'living data', meaning he will never age again for even a single day, and can potentially live forever.
Lastly, Philip is not just the physical avatar of the Gaia Memory, but also one of the few people able to actively use it's power. During the same event where he was imbued with the Gaia Memory, readings of multiple topics within them were caught onto physical media and materialized - they became the first solid Gaia Memories, or T1 Gaia Memories.
Through a process called 'purification' these rough shards of knowledge can be channeled into a useable form to humans and other sentient beings, as long as they are compatible with the memory in question. The users of these memories use 'Lost Drivers' to turn themselves into Kamen Rider, masked warriors.
However, Philip is fundamentally different. Since he is 'knowledge' personified, he can not normally change into a Kamen Rider. Instead, he functions as part of a bigger system. There exists a single driver called the 'Double Driver', which posesses two Gaia Memory slots. On it's own, it is completely useless. However, if someone worthy puts on the driver, the mind of the wearer gets linked to Philip's mind, and a copy of the original Double Driver appears around Philips waist.
Using the Gaia Memories compatible to him, he can 'send' a copy of his Gaia Memory to the driver of his partner, who can then use one of their compatible memories. Once both are slotted in, Philips mind leaves his body - rendering him unconcious - and he becomes the 'right side of Kamen Rider Double', who asssists his partner in combat by controlling the supernatural forces of his Gaia Memories to his partners will. The sole exception is the Fang Memory, which transports the mind of Philip's partner into his body and turns him into the body of Kamen Rider Double.
The first of Philip's Gaia Memories, and somewhat is signature memory. By using it, he turns his side of double green, and grants it a scarf called 'wind stabilizer' which allows Double to feel all of the wind around it. While Cyclone is active, Double has highly increased speed, and each attack can be imbued with the spirits of the wind, giving them the power to slice through solid objects as if he was using sharpened blades. Each attack has low power, but very high speed.
The second Gaia Memory is the one of all the heat of the earth. By using it, Philip grants his partner the power over fire, allowing to imbue every single attack with immense offensive power, high enough to blast holes right through steel if need be. Of course, this much power can easily backfire if not handled properly. It has medium speed and defensive properties.
Luna is the strangest of all the Gaia Memories, turning Double into the 'mysterious warrior'. It allows the right half of the Kamen Rider to stretch in impossible ways to confuse and strike the opponent like whips and from unexpected angles. When using a projectile weapon from the left side, the shots can be curved and made homing with the power of Luna. The Gaia Memory can also help produce multiple illusions of the user, which only hold for a few seconds, but can help distract and confuse an enemy.
The Fang Memory is special, because it is sentient. it is the memory of dinosaurs that once roamed the earth. While in 'living mode', it takes on the form of a small dinosaur that follows Philip around and shields him from harm. When grabbed by him and slotted into the Driver, Philip himself becomes the host for Kamen Rider Double, taking on the form of FangJoker (usually). He posesses great speed, strength and martial arts ability in this form, and has a special weapon - the fang blade. Normally attached to his shoulder, it changes position down to his leg or up to the side of his arm on a single thought command, and has enough power to rip through most normal materials. FangJoker is generally stronger, faster and more unpredictable than the other Double forms, but has one glaring flaw: Philip's body is rather weak, so he can't hold the transformation for nearly as long as his parner can when the roles are in their normal place.
While FangJoker, Philip is able to execute a Memory Break attack - this 'Maximum Drive' is usually locked thanks to him not being Double's main body, but in this form, he can execute a spinning kick with the blade on the foot, slicing his enemy into small pieces to destroy their power.
Though not used often, Philip has access to a Lost Driver. Much like the Double Driver, it appears automatically whenever he is in mortal danger and can't rely on his partner for help. Since Philip is unsuited for combat alone, he is restricted to using the Cyclone Memory - all other Gaia Memories he has can't be used solo, since the strain caused by them could cripple Philip's body permanently.
Once slotted with the Cyclone Memory, Philip becomes Kamen Rider Cyclone.
In this form, Philip is very fast, but not all that powerful. As he has full control of the wind in this form, he can float, deliver flying kicks and use bursts of wind by channeling air itself. This allows for limited ranged combat and fast repositioning, and he is one of the few Kamen Riders capable of flight without any extra help.
Like FangJoker, he can execute a 'Memory Break' through using the Maximum Drive. To do so, he removes the Gaia Memory from the belt and inserts it into the slot on the right leg. Philip then performs an incredibly powerful flying kick to the enemy, which, should it hit, traps the enemy in a tornado that throws them up into the air and crashes them back onto the ground with enough force to shatter their 'power', forcing them to seal their weapons (if they use unsealed weapons), and also locking their ability to re-release them for three posts. Characters without released forms get weakened by half of their strength during the effect of it instead.
