The Snake
Gin is a peculiar individual, to say the least. He's like an ogre, because ogres are like onions. Although, to be fair, it would be more logical to compare him in likeness to the onion itself; both are extremely white. The point is, Gin has the ability to create more then one side of his character. His mental abilities are absolutely monstrous; his sel-control allows him to perform any role that he desires, and he normally obtains whatever he wishes to desire. He is especially skilled in the manipulation of people, whether it is their desires, or their hopes, or their dreams; he is very skilled at pulling the strings of all these mental concepts. However, there is another side to Gin; and that side is the fact that he is actually a good person at heart.

The Man of Faces
Gin's mind has perfect control over every single inch of his body, never showing any part of emotion or anything else should he not desire it. Gin does not perform things by accident, anything he does has a very specific purpose; such as when he taunted Rukia on her way to her execution. In reality, Gin was giving her a sense of hope once more, as well as making it seemingly approval to Aizen that he was degrading Rukia; when in reality, he had a much craftier design. Oh, and the shot to ill her? Totally a bluff; he had been paying much attention to Byakuya's fight with Ichigo; and only the slight manipulations of 1. the timing and 2. the extension rate prevented Rukia from dying under his blade.

The Absolute Genius
Calling Gin a genius merely does not do the man justice. He can create extremely over complicated plans and maintain them exactly in his memory without any need for reference materials to maintain its details; even over the course of years. He is immensely patient to reach his goals, never giving up on a goal. Ever. His abilities of observation are also beyond most comprehension, and above all, his mental abilities towards practically achievable things is unmatched.

The Smile
Gin is constantly smiling. He finds that a smile is the best way to maintain contact with a person; and you can hide anything you desire behind a smile any motive or design. As such, his smile is not aimed towards his being happy, but rather towards keeping his mind totally to himself.

The Lover
However, Gin does has the ability to grow compassionate about some things. If someone he cares deeply for is harmed, he will not stop until the offender has tasted his vengeance. When the words "his vengeance" are used, he refers exactly to anything that he has to perform in order to achieve his goals.  To achieve his goals properly, that is.What this does prove, however, is that Gin does have the ability to develop affections for other people. However, no matter how much time he spends with a person, if he has designed that he has hate for them, no amount of time being spent with them will change his mind.

Manipulative Tendencies
Gin is a manipulator… there's no one who can deny that. However, this is because of his very good eye towards other people; he is able to perceive things about a person's personality, even with them attempting to conceal their true nature he can usually find it. This great understanding of other people allows him to discover a way to perform any kind of manipulation that he desires to them without worry. He does not have a sense of morals, really, performing anything short of actually harming the ones he cares about to perform his objectives.

Playful
However, Gin truly is a playful man. He enjoys messing with other people, almost to a sadistic extent. However, pretty much anything that he performs somehow has some positive outcome. When he flung Jidanbo away from the wall, he made it so that the guard would not be punished for allowing the Ryouka in. Granted he lost his arm, but he had to at least TRY to put on some amount of show.


Appearance:


Appearance Description:Gin is quite a lanky man in appearance. His clothing is a set of white robes, which he has taken to wearing as his custom. He has silver hair atop his head, which is where his name comes from, Gin: silver. He has thin but long eyebrows, and his eyes are constantly slit, comfortable in this position. His eyes however, when he does show them, are very shiny, as his eyeballs are very moist when they are open, increasing his eyesight because of the relaxation of the muscles in his eyes. His eyes are sky blue in color.

He has a wide mouth, which naturally rests in the shape of a smile on his face. His nose is pointy, but not ridiculously so. He favors his right hand, and uses his left as a counter weight in most things. His hair is fairly short cut, and he has no facial hair. He has a massive scar around his right elbow, where it had been completely slashed off, as well as a massive scar across his chest and a scar where he was stabbed on his torso. He wears white sandals with black socks.

Superior Mind
Gin's mind works on an extremely high level. However, it does not work on a knowledge level; rather, its inner workings occur within logic and memories. He has an idyllic memory; absolutely ANYTHING he senses, he can remember perfectly, no matter how much time has passed. In addition, his logic is bottomless; he can predict things many steps into a situation, and understand several variables simultaneously. This is one of his greatest combat weapons, although he does not often use it.

Sword of the Serpent
Gin has high amounts of ability with his sword. He is never phased by his opponent, despite what their abilities are. He never shows effort with his blade, even when committing very elaborate maneuvers, even wielding his blade with one limb. He has fought against several opponents who in skill should have far exceeded him without any apparent effort, even dominating the opponents. His attacks are known to kill several targets at once thanks to its many abilities, and he uses extreme speed and reaction times to make his attacks swift, precise, and deadly.

Gin's Zanpaktou is definitely feminine. It wears many intricate jewels around its face, which show off the many gifts of its wielder. Its body is that of a lamia, which gets much thinner the more it extends, although its body never runs out. One of its eyes is attractive, human-looking, inviting, but the other is that of a cold blooded snake. On its lips it wears red lipstick, deep blood-red, in fact. Its hair is long and white, alike but different to that of its owner. The ears are pointed, like a dubious elf, who is telling you the truth... just perhaps, not the whole truth.

Zanpakutō Spirit Personality:

Shinso is a tricky zanpaktou. It is very intelligent, on par with Gin himself as far as its logic goes. It is a very, very patient being, waiting as long as it needs to for anything to occur. It can go centuries without anything changing, and has very little physical desires. It is very blood thirsty; when it finds a victim, it consumes it whole, with as little a fight as physically possible. Finally, it enjoys talking with Gin himself, but not a lot; rather in small doses, never revealing everything to him, but only pieces at a time. Just the way Gin likes it.

Zanpakutō Spirit's World: Gin's mental plane is a never ending field of persimmon trees, which are always in blossom with their fruits on display, perfect for stabbing down.




Shikai:Shoot them to Death... Shinso!

When it enters into Shikai State, Shinso becomes a wakazishi in appearance, with a light blue hilt. At the top of the hilt, there are two warped pieces of metal that come together, forming what is called a tsuba. These two loosely form the letter S, as if for Snake, or for Shinso itself.

Shikai Abilities:

Shoot To Kill
While it is in Shikai State, the blade becomes immensely powerful. It can push even giants without so much as a crack using Gin's strength, and it is sharp enough to cut through most substances. However, its true ability lies within its stretching. That is correct, its ability to stretch. When Gin stabs the blade forwards, and only stabs it, the blade shoots out, the steel replicating and extending it outwards. This is very fast, not ridiculously so but hard for most beings to react to properly. The blade can stretch out up to one hundred times its original length, going about 200 feet away from Gin while it is in Shikai. Finally, while the blade is extended, he can shift the blade around from its original location, devastating enemies by swinging it effortlessly in large arcs. In addition, Gin is a master of using this skill of his zanpaktou, using it to deadly efficiency, and it is the only power which Shinso has in this state.

Bankai Abilities:

God-Killing Spear
The God-Killing Spear has the exact same ability as Gin's shikai. However, his God-Killing spear has vastly increased force, much higher speed, a greatly extended length, and a significantly greater cutting ability. His sword becomes able to shoot out for over 10 kilometers, up to 7.5 miles in length, although he prefers to call it Thirteen Kilometers, because of the connotations of the number thirteen. In addition, his blade becomes able to INSTANTLY shoot out at the speed of sound, its speed limit. The force generated from the sheer amount of speed is enough that buildings it comes into contact with are INSTANTLY broken, pushed aside by the blades WAKE as it launches forwards. Its cutting power is IMMENSE in this state, slicing through almost all substances, leveling entire city blocks with little to no effort. '

Buto (No/Null Step)
This is the fastest way for Gin to create attacks while his sword is in this state. By placing the blade over his chest, he becomes able to focus all of himself on controlling the blade, allowing him to shoot it out at its max speed and retract it back again so that it fires off instantly. Because of this, the stab is more focused, making it so that even very careful observers have a hard time keeping up with the blade, and it even begins to lose its physical form from the pushing momentum of its size. Finally, when he begins to use Buto, he HAS to open his eyes completely, so that he can follow the blade.

Buto: Renjin (Serial No (SOLAR NOPE.))
Basically, Buto: Renjin is a repeat of Buto, firing the blade off again and again to cause MASSIVE widespread damage to an area in front of Gin. He is able to redirect the blade while using Renjin as well, making him able to hit any targets that he can see in the 180 degrees in front of his own body. This is a rapid destruction technique, and utilizes Gin's highly developed observational skills along with his mind to use it the best.

Korose(Kill): Kamishini no Yari's true ability, as well as its deadliest aspect, is not based on its length or speed, but rather its ability to turn into dust for just a second when it expands and contracts. There is a deadly poison inside the blade that dissolves and breaks down cells. He can leave a sliver of his Zanpakutō in an opponent when he retracts Kamishini no Yari, allowing him to kill an opponent at any time he chooses to. He does so by uttering the technique name while placing his hand up to the target and touching them in the spot his zanpaktou left the sliver, which causes the target to completely break down and dissolve at the cellular level from the inside out. However, this ability can only perform this full effect if it hits the opponent's heart, and thus leads to their entire bloodstream. More often then not, Gin ends up hitting a limb or a body part, and disintegrating that part using this ability. However, due to his playful nature, he typically does not hit the head or heart, which are typically fatal to those he faces. In addition, he very, VERY RARELY shows this ability. In fact, he is the only person currently in existence other then his zanpaktou itself who is aware of its power. As such, this ability is EVENT-ONLY and not usable in basic threads.



Character Background:

When Gin was first conscious as a spirit, he was a child. Having nothing else to do, he began to explore, looking for something he liked. Eventually, he discovered persimmons, and began to work for their grower. It was strange, he had hunger when no one else did. When he found someone like him who had collapsed, he offered her persimmons as well, and it was in this matter that he met Rangiku. Rangiku rapidly became his best friend and the person he loved the most in the world.

However, one day, when he found Rangiku collapsed, and later spied on the person who had done this to her, he resolved to make Aizen pay in the worst way possible. For this reason, he decided to become a hollow killing shinigami. He joined the Gotei 13, and while a member there killed the third seat of fifth squad, the first life he had ever took, other then the spirits known as hollows, and he hoped the only one who he would ever need to. He attended the same hollowfication of high ranking Shinigami and watched Aizen turn them into hollows, even more barbaric acts.

Later, he became Aizen's lieutenant. He was very close to the captain during this time, and learned how to get around Aizen's zanpaktou ability. Some time after this, Gin became the squad leader of squad 3. His lieutenant was Izuru Kira. Some time later, they investigated Hueco Mundo together, and Gin thought for a moment that he saw himself decimating hundreds of hollow. Then Barragan agreed to the terms and the triumvirate left once more.

And now Gin was sad. His friend Byakuya, who became a captain the same time as him with the cute sister, was having that sister be executed. Some time in the future, the Ryoka were breaking into Soul Society. Gin was sent to repulse them, with the orders to use lethal force to prevent them from entering. However, that wasn't Gin's intent. For one thing, Aizendesired to use these people,and for a second, Gin really didn't want to have to kill them. So it was that he did not kill a single one of them, merely shoving them out and forcing them to find another entrance into the Soul Society, forcing them to develop further.

People questioned his actions, but it was as it should be. He held a scripted conversation with Aizen, which Gin found rather dull. From there, he remained keeping tabs on the Ryoka until Aizen faked his own death. Because of this he was assaulted by Momo Hinamori, and was threatened by Toshiro because of his actions. His name rapidly became dirt around Soul Society, and that evening he was confronted once again.

While it was all scripted, Gin still rather enjoyed the contest between himself and Toshiro. The youth very, VERY much so reminded him of himself. So much, in fact, that it was kinda creepy. Gin performed everything according to script, although he changed up some parts for himself, including the death threat made towards Momo.

After this, he joined Aizen once more, until the morning of the execution. Here he met with Rukia Kuchiki, quite outside of Aizen's orders. After all, Aizen simply wanted the Hogyoku; it didn't matter to him what ended up becoming of Rukia. However, this was the sister of the man who had become a captain the same time as Gin, and he was going to resist Aizen somehow while he could. And that way ended up being stalling her execution. Which was in Aizen's plans. However, what wasn't in Aizen's plans were Rukia survving the entire ordeal. Which he ended up doing as a result of this action. After all, without that extra bit of time, Rukia would have surely died to his blade.

He completely joined Aizen once more as he was allegedly exposed, before the entire group of them went out to get the Hogyoku. When Aizen had retrieved it, Gin went to make it look like he was brutally stabbing her to death. Afterwards, he had to apologize to Rangiku, who he had not harmed a single time.

Some time later and now with some epic clothing, he was in Hueco Mundo again. He decided that he would spy upon all of Aizen's meetings, and during one voiced an observation about Grimmjow's arm being completely removed from his body. He wasn't all too comfortable inside Hueco Mundo, but it worked. While he was here he gained many Arrancar friends, including Luppi and discluding Ulquiorra.

It was this that he next did something of some significance. He was messing with the corridor controls to aid the members of the Orihime rescue squad and was confronted by Ulquiorra. Of course, the converstaion between the snake and the nihilist ended up being so much worhtlessness, but he was glad to have the opportunity to talk to someone who wasn't pure monster.

When they went to the vacation to Karakura Town, they got trapped. This made Gin happy and sad at the same time; it was stalling the finale but he was glad to have the opportunity to watch Kira fight. He was happy that his Lieutenant had done so well in his absence and was pretty sure he would have a bright, happy future ahead.

A voice spoke, fulfilling the space around him with the noise. In front of him was quite clearly a rather impressive group of hollow. He was smiling, as he always was, his eyes closed on his face to mere slits as always. His gaze towards them was clear, but his eyes were not visible in the slightest.

His body shot forwards, his right hand slamming into his opponent's right side, smiling as its blade sliced through them effortlessly. His constant smile remained on his face as he kept his eyes staring towards the hollow, looking directly into their eyes as his wrist flicked ever so slightly, and the blade moved ever so slightly, cleaving the mask of the hollow clean off.  "Oopsie. Seems I've made a bit of a mess." He stated simply, as he brought his arm back, seeing more of them coming out of the woodwork.

"Shoot 'em to death… Shinso."

He said simply, the final word coming out sounding like two blades striking, as he threw his blade forwards in a stab. The hollows looked at him, confused. His blade had shrunk, smaller then it had been before. Without warning, the would soon realize their error, as the blade shot forwards at an immense rate of speed, shooting forwards as it cleaved the mask of one, proceeded to another, and then seemed to wrap around as the final hollow attempted to dodge it, stabbing it through the back of its mask as he impaled all three of them simultaneously, that smile still on his face.

"Woo…" He let out, as he threw his arm around, flipping the blade to its flat side as the intercepted the hollow which had been coming at him from behind and slamming the blade into them, exerting an astonishing amount of force for how long the blade was as the hollow were thrown away, Shinso retracting again as it came back to his right hand. He began to stab his right hand forwards gain, smiling, as without warning all five of the hollow that were in the path of the blade's future extension began moving rapidly to get out of the way.

"Just kidding…"

He said, his smile widening as he shot forwards, his blade moving at such a speed that he seemed to be leaving after images of it, stabbing through the hollow all a single time as the blade shot through their masks, leaving them with a gigantic hole in their faces and their bodies changing into dust as he spun around, Shinso extending at a rapid rate as the hollow charging him from behind found themselves being slammed…. But by the cutting side of the blade. He looked through his slit eyes, even as the bodies were split open, the blade retracting as Gin brought it back one final time, his right eye opening completely to reveal its sky blue hues as he stared at all of the hollow, more then a dozen of them that had been cut through.

"Kill 'em dead!" He stated, throwing his arm forwards in the stabbing motion a final time as the blade shot forwards, stabbing through the first of the hollow masks with ease. It hit just the bottom of the second one, hit the center of the third, the right side barely of the fourth, a perfect slam through the fifth, the top part of the sixth, the bottom of the seventh, dead center on the eighth, the left side of the ninth, the edge of tenth, the right of the eleventh, and as the final one began to fall it seemed that for sure Gin was going to miss. However, he smiled as the sheer FORCE of Shinso moving forwards spun the final mask around, making it a perfect hit as the blade stabbed through it, the blade solidifying as it came back to him, at last finishing its retraction. "Well… I have to admit, that was fun." He stated, his right hand sheathing his blade once again as his eye closed once more.

Comments/Notes: The RP sample... I'm going to have to deny it on the basis of that, as well as history.. Gin wouldn't go Bankai for that. No, it's not something he'd just whip out like that. Not to mention you got the entire positioning wrong. Gin wouldn't be in front of Aizen. Simply because behind behind someone is always best for someone like Gin. Someone like that needs to be in control and ready to, for lack of a better phrase, stab their target in the back when the opportunity came to fruition. Not to mention that he wasn't the leader. Even in an attack, he wouldn't remove himself from his position. Not to mention Gin is the type to toy with his prey, at least a little. All I'm seeing here is a little snarky comment here and there.

Latter part of history is completely wrong. The war didn't go like that here. Aizen teamed up with Juhabach and was killed fighting Yamamoto while still in Fake Karakura. There was no time for Gin to do that.

Seeing as Tsubine did not approve this, and because it has been well over a week since any work has been done on it, I am going to move this application back to the W.I.P. section until the changes have been made. Also, as a side suggestion, there are a couple of instances where your coding is broken, such as for some of the text coloring, so I'd also say fixing that if possible would help.
