Name: Takuri Sugiura Appearance Age: 18-20 True Age: Aparently exactly 10 years younger than Misaiko, making her the second oldest of Shimuras children. Gender: Female Element: Storm Titles: Black Knight, Goddess of Storms, Storm Wolf, Saver Prefered Hand: Ambidextrous
Personality: Takuri is a serious woman - about everything, it seems. She doesn't even seem to know what a 'joke' is, trains her body and mind every single day and places protecting her sister and the kingdom above her own safety and life by far. She is said to be a born leader - even though she rarely speaks to those who don't know her, the air around her makes people try to follow her, and she can be very convincing if she tries to be. Still, this 'serious' mask is mostly a mask. Takuri is extremely emotional at times, and has trouble keeping her instincts and urges in check. It is hard to make her snap, but once you manage to do it, be prepared to fight. She is a proud warrior, and doesn't take insults to her fighting kindly. Chivalry is something that will most likely make her laugh at the very best, as she believes that everybody has the right to fight if they so chose.
Behind the proud and down-to-the-ground warrior lies a kind woman, though. Whenever she feels at peace, her usually permanently serious face can even turn into a smile as bright as the sunlight, it is said. Still, she almost never gets out of her armor when she is not in her chambers in the palace. She can even sometimes be a bit naive, and can actually get embarassed quite easily - but not regarding her body. In fact, she doesn't care about the fact that she is one of the most beautiful daughters of Shimura, and doesn't think much about her appearance, besides keeping her fur clean. As she has both a tail and wolfears, those animal parts of hers are actually quite sensitive. She is known to hate it when people touch her tail, in fact, as it makes her seem weak.
Deep underneath, though, Takuri is a VERY broken and hurt individual. Her constant inner battle against her darker Alter self takes it's toll on her mind and self-esteem, and if you strip away the armor and galant warrior that she tries to appear as, a pained and self-blaming woman remains that tries desperately to repent for her past sins. She does not realize that her true heart, even though she can from her own nature be aggressive, moody and easily irritated, is as pure as the blue sky. Unlike many people, she doesn't dislike 'bad weather' - she instead loves rain, even thunderstorms, since they are both refreshing and completely harmless to her.
Regarding her habits, Takuri has few, besides nearly never sleeping thanks to being a spiritual entity, and excessive reading. Whenever she is not doing her daily training-routine, she is seen with a book in hand. Most people suspect her to be reading novels or scientific books, considering her vast intelligence and knowledge of those. However, only very few people know that a large majority of the books in her own private library... are smut.
Above all, though, one should never underestimate her drive to protect what is important to her heart.
Overall Appearance
Appearance: Takuri is roughly 1,90 tall, but has a rather slender and agile figure. She has light brown hair with a tint of gray, both on her head, ears and animalistic parts. The clothing seen on the picture is what Takuri wears underneath a special armor, made out of brown and black cloth with a darkened metal chestplate and a leg-covering battle-garment. Another thing to be noted is the fact that the red markings on Takuris body have been there since she was born. They glow slightly when she uses her abilities, or when she's unusually angry.
Height: 1,90 meters Weight: Lightweight Trait: Brown, smooth fur covers her lower arm parts, and while not covering her hands, she does have wolf-like claws on them. Her legs are nearly completely covered in fur, the same goes for her feet, all together with claws on them. She also has a 'fluffy' wolf tail. Lastly, two wolf ears replace any human ears on her. For some reason, she hates it if someone touches her ears...
Natural Abilities
Inhert Storm Control: Takuri has a passive ability which makes her soul influence the actual weather of the world. Without releasing her Sacred, these changes are minor, for example, being depressed could cause clouds to come up. Once she has her Sacred released, though, the weather will change to provide optimal fight conditions. Inhert Storm Control also gives Takuri the ability to use strong winds, minor electric manipulation and manipulation of water without releasing her Sacred, being her natural element. Releasing her sword grants her higher control over a normally uncontrollable element like the storm, though.
Insane Physical Power: The physical strength in her body exceeds everything normally possible. Her dense Reiatsu makes it into something insanely powerful, and her hands, feet, legs, arms and last but clearly not least her swords are deadly weapons that can easily beat enemies with brute force alone. It goes further to being able to break steel with her bare hands, feet or even teeth if she so choses. A few strikes of her sword can break a normal sealed Zanpakutō if her enemy is not on her level or above.
Grand-Master Swordsmanship Specialist: The only known Sugiura who can match Takuri in swordplay is Misaiko, and that should be quite the big hint. Training with a sword for almost half the time of humanities existance as a whole, her skill with many forms of swordfighting and techniques are something to behold. Takuri is able to fight efficiently with Katanas, longswords, shortswords, Dai-Katanas, broadswords, claymores, daggers, and even to some extend polearms. If it has a sword-like blade, she can wield it with unlimited skill, precision and deadly strength. Obviously, she is just as talented with two weapons. Her fighting style combines western nd japanese blades to full effect, using both slicing with concentrated and smashing with ide-spread force. Therefore, her style is just as diverted, and can't be named, nor copied by nyone with less skill and strength.
Incredible Reiatsu: As one of the oldest and most powerful Sugiura alive, Takuri is known for hosting a large amount of raw spiritual energy in her body, causing a big deal of pressure to emmit from her whenever she unleashes it all. The only known match in raw energy is Misaiko, with her younger brother Tsubine being above her. Of course, Shimura herself also has more Reiatsu.
Heightened Senses: It goes almost without saying, but all of Takuri's senses are incredibly advanced over human standards, more so than for normal supernaturals. She can see in complete darkness with her eyes, no amount of wind or rain can cloud her vision, her ears pick up sounds too low or too high for humans to hear, and her nose can pick up trails as if she'd be a highly trained police dog, just that she can even follow a smell through the dimensional fabric into other planes.
Wolf Speech: Wolves don't speak, a simple fact. However, Takuri can - through body language, growls and the like - communicate with wolves, both normal and spiritual, making them less likely to attack her and even able to recruit them for help. She can communicate with most animals this way, but wolves are the easiest.
Guardian Beast
Sacred Weapon: Takuris Sacred looks like a katana that is slightly longer than usual, but still a one-handed sword. The leather around the hilt seems a bit worn off, and a strange gem looking like bone is on the tip of said hilt. A chain is wrapped around the upper part of the hilt and the lowest part of the blade, and her sheath is slightly wider on the upper part so that it can still fit. The blade itself looks like shining steel. It has been called 'Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi', the divine sword of great power, although many swords have carried this title over the times. It's still used to release it, though - no further phrase apart from the name is needed.
Other Weapons: Takuri Sugiura is a so-called 'Holy Sword Wielder'. Of the Triumvirate Sacreds, Excalibur is known as the sword of promised victory, and Takuri is able to wield it. However, as Excalibur has a wielder in this time-period, she instead obtained another legendary holy sword, one of the sister swords to Excalibur. Her sword is the 'blade that choses the king', one that can only be drawn by those it choses - Caliburn. Caliburn can be brandished at any stage, and posesses three stages just like Takuri's Sacred, leading to them being increased or decreased in release-level at the same time if both are used. She can't shift it to different levels for different blades, as that would disrupt her power-flow and potentially break an opening into her swordstyle and combat.
Guardian Beast: Takuris Guardian Beast is called Susano'o. His element is the Storm. Susano'o is the original wielder of Takuri's Sacred. His personality can range from being lazy and a drunkard to actually being a brave warrior, or to completely rage-filled outbursts. Thanks to Takuris strong will, he mostly is a noble warrior nowadays, and not as destructive as he was before. Caliburn, while a powerful blade, doesn't have a Guardian Beast. However, it does have it's own will, and cannot be wielded by anyone except Takuri and others it accepts (which is, of course, directed by me, the player of Takuri)
Guardian Beast's World: The inner world of Takuri and Susano'o looks like a gigantic temple, with many interwinding curves, big halls, small chambers, and wide gardens. This temple goes on into eternity, but it still has a center. In this center stands a throne made out of the bones of Orochi, the eight-headed serpent. This is where Susano'o is found most of the times. In the deeper parts of the temple, there is a stairway leading into the deep earth. After a seemingly endless way down and around corners, one can find a gigantic cell with a seemingly infinite amounts of chains holding Alter Takuri in place. However, these chains are all stained with red rust, and a manicial laughter can sometimes be heard from these deepest parts everywhere in the temple...
Techinques: Sounds of the Wind - Takuri can use her control over the wind to hear over insanely large distances. She can't have this active all the time, though, or she risks going deaf from loud sounds. It's still very helpful for scouting.
Burst Steps - Her very own version of flash steps, these use strong wind-gusts instead of Reiatsu-bursts to move at high speeds for short distances, very similliar to Shunpo. Generally, it doesn't make any sounds, though. The only exception is for when Takuri stands on the ground, as it breaks the surface on which she is standing.
Free Flight - Being the 'Goddess of Storms', Takuri can freely soar through the air, with or without her sword drawn, stand completely still even in the heaviest natural or artificial storm, and has a higher resistance to wind-based attacks. The gusts of wind she leaves behind when using her Burst Steps while in free flight still have her shape for a short moment, leaving after-images behind if used in rapid succession.
Growling Moon: A technique she developed while Misaiko made her own technique, Howling Moon. Takuri presses down the force of a storm gale and the sound of thunders into her sacred, she executes a downward slash either from afar or close up, releasing a 'sphere' of fast moving energy, shaped like a tornado or twister. Should it hit, then the soundwaves and storm will combine into one hundred beatings directly onto the INSIDE of the enemy, attacking organs and bones directly, ignoring Hierro should the enemy have that. After the one hundred beats occur, a final slashing motion of Takuri releases the rest of the energy, 'cutting' the tornado in two, which makes it and the entire air inside slide into two parts like a Sith cleanly cut by a lightsaber. This air-shift can even cut open the enemy should he not be able to evade this effect after the first half of the attack.
Thunder Blade: Takuri can charge up her sealed sword with electric energy of a thunderstorm, giving it the ability to shoot out lightning bolts shaped like blades with a single swing. Highly uncontrollable, but also very destructive.
Wind Slicer: Similliar to Thunder Blade, Takuri channels cutting sharp winds into her blade this time, releasing a flurry of sharp, invisible blades that can only be felt with Reiatsu-senses. They are able to cleanly cut through iron and damage steel in sealed form. Since this consumes little to no spiritual energy, it is Takuris normal method of ranged attacking. They can obviously be combined with each and every of her sword moves.
One Strike: Takuris fastest move, and arguably one of her deadliest ones without releasing her Sacred. Concentrating a massive amount of Reiatsu and pure Storm Energy directly in her blade, the Chains around the upper part of the hilt and lower part of the blade get bursted off, like when releasing Susano'o, but instead of changing form, the Katana begins to glow light blue. Dashing forward, with the katana stretched out on the side besides Takuri, she passes her enemy, slashing through with Susano'o. However, this slash is not the main damage. Just a short moment after the blade contact, a gigantic storm force follows - this hit of blunt and cuting force can sever an enemy in two, or even rip him to shreds. One Strike is known for ending a whole war by cutting own half an army.
Claw Fighting: Takuri, as a part of being a wolf-type Sugiura, does not need a Sacred to fight - she is able to fight using her claws as cutting weapons. While she is able to hold her own in a brawl, she is not on the masterful levels of someone like Iori.
Paralyzing Palm: By using her control over electric energy, Takuri can charge up her hands with enough power to work like a taser, causing muscle spasms or even downright paralysis with her hand-to-hand strikes.
Execution Slash: A sword-strike executed with intense precision at the neck of the opponent from behind. It is usually accompanied by a wind coming from the front, so that the opponent has a harder time getting away. Used mostly in sneak attacks.
Mist of Souls: To use this technique, Takuri has to summon forth water first. Touching the water with the tip of her sword in either release or the tip of her whip in her Alter Form, the water will start to create vast amounts of white mist. This mist is made out of Reiatsu for the most part and can't be blown away by wind. This mist is actually an illusion-technique, but since that really isn't Takuris strong field, this skill only has two possible effects: It either blocks and dulls out vision, or sound. If the mist effects sound, an opponent on Takuris level will hear things like underwater, possibly confusing and making him more sluggish. This effect can be fought off by concentrating Reiatsu into the senses for a short time to get rid of it. An opponent weaker than Takuri might go completely deaf in the mist, or even worse, hear things from the wrong directions, misleading them completely if they try to use their ears to find an opponent. Again, concentrated Reiatsu can weaken or disable the effect. While in sound-mode, the mist is always seen around the field of view of everyone inside as a white wall, but whenever trying to focus the eyes on it, it goes back and reveals whatever was where the eyes are now on, making it hard to actually focus on the stuff that makes hearing harder. While in vision mode, the mist simply grows like thick natural mist, going so far as to make it near impossible to see things that are not directly infront of you, and even then, only as shades. Enhanced vision senses and stronger own Reiatsu weaken this effect, and all other senses still work fine. Both kinds of mist last up to 5-6 posts and have a 4 post cooldown.
Maken - Tsubame Gaeshi: A technique of legend. Considered impossible, many swordsmen have found various ways to escape the impossibility - tricking reality, outright breaking it, godlike skill. All those things and more are needed to perfom this technique perfectly. One of these swordsmen is Takuri - using pure skill and the principle of a school of Kendo is all she uses, using her wind to increase the range of the technique even further. To begin the technique, the dull side of the blade rests against her shoulder. It is a counter-move or move to be executed if she has a short break, more so than an attack - a charging enemy can be cut down with this move easily, though. Waiting for the enemy, the grip itself around the blade is rather loose - just enough to keep it where it is supposed to be. Once the enemy reaches the radius of the attack, and has no more chance to easily escape, Takuri lashes out - it is a single step forward, using the motion of her hips, torso, and legs to propell herself and her sword downward in an arc. A slash like this made by Takuri is already enough to break through solid steel like it would slice a single piece of paper. This is only the first stage of this attack - because it has a fatal weakness, and that weakness is a leap above. A sidestep is easy to counter by redirecting the position of the own body right before the actual strike - therefore, it is not something Takuri has to worry about, thanks to her speed. However, should an enemy leap over her after her right foot meets the ground of the forward-slash, she'd be defenseless against a slash to the back or the neck, a fatal flaw. An upwards-slash with the arms alone is merely childs play - any swordsman can tell you that such a strike lacks in killing power, and at the most gets you disarmed by the enemy. Thus, Tsubame Gaeshi requires one knowledge - if the innitial strike will connect or not, before even the first step with the right foot is complete. If Takuri is sure it won't, she then stretches out her left leg, before using it's propelling force to balance out her slightly forward-position of the torso. Redirecting the movement-power of her torso, legs, and hips upwards into a straight line, the next part is using her hands correctly - changing her grip, which had to be loose to begin with, slightly, she now executes an upwards slash with full power. Thanks to the changed grip, she doesn't have the danger of twisting her elbows too far or not enough, as it is a simple slight bend now, thus not losing any speed or power. This upward-slash will then hit any enemy trying to jump above Takuri - thanks to the wind extending her blade up to quadruple the natural range, an escape from the range of this technique is nearly impossible. In one motion, two slashes are made and completed, leaving no room to evade the counter or counter it back - attacking her while in the stance for Tsubame Gaeshi is one of the quickest ways into an early grave.
Magic: Takuri is able to use all of the 'normal' Sugiura magic. Her spells are known to have incredible power, but little aim and a lack of finesse, much like she has in general. Other magic she knows includes:
Dai Shinkai: A secret magic, designed by Takuri herself. Only she and Misaiko can use it as of now. This is a stronger version of Shinkai - it consumes less Reishi, but needs high skill in Magic to be useable, since it needs incredible control. The energy gets compressed even further, allowing to reflect the strongest Kidō, needing less Reishi than the enemy needed to perform the attack. This also works against all kinds of Cero. If used as an attack, a smaller amount of blades is released compared to Shinkai, but each of these blades has the strength of a normal Cero.
Boundary Field of Distortion: This Boundary Field that creates an aura around the user that is like a calming wind. However, the wind contains a very powerful and dissonant energy that can burn or shock the opponent. Whenever an attack strikes the field, the damage is reflected. It only requires a calm mind, and normally an attack will disrupt the calm mind afterwards. The field stretches out in a 10-meter radius. Any attack done outside of that radius will be cancelled out but so will the field.
Aka Tate (赤盾 Lit: Red Shield): Aka Tate is a simple shield of light particles that dissipates energy attacks as it contacts the surface. It is not as strong as most shields and can only stand up to a lower Grand Rey Cero-level attacks.
Shimura's Blessing: Specialized healing magic is rare in the Sugiura magics, but Shimura's Blessing is the main one. Named after the proverbial founder of the Sugiuras, it channels the user's reiatsu into a white, gel-like substance that surrounds the target. The energy slowly flows into the target's body; thereby healing them. The healing takes longer than the Shinigami methods, but it has a more widespread effect.
OFFENSE SPELLS Taiyou no Mannakahe (たいようのまんなかへ, lit. "To the Center of the Sun"): Taiyou no Mannakahe is a high-power long-range energy attack. It has no "element" but rather is made of pure reishi. It is fired from the user's index finger of their dominant hand. If ambidextrious, it can be fired from either hand. Only one can be fired per 5 posts. It is the Sugiura equivalent of a Cero Oscuras in terms of power. It is broken down into two stages. The first stage is the "aiming" stage. After pointing at the target, a one-inch-diameter circular beam will be emitted from the finger. Anyone who has not seen or heard of the attack will believe that the beam itself is the attack. However, that is false. Instead, it acts as a laser sight for the actual attack. The longest range ever recorded was 5 miles. After one post, the true attack will be fired. Instead of being something like a large circular attack, this technique takes the form of a long, tall, thin, blade-like attack. The highest ever recorded height was 10 miles high. However, all Taiyou no Mannakahes are EXACTLY one inch thick at their thickest point. Because of the immense power required to fire just one, only Suguiras of 1-1 or 0 tier can learn this technique. It can only be fired when unreleased or when in Kyuu Kyou. The attack will most likely damage the user's hand in the process as well.
Yuurei Gensou (幽霊幻想 Lit: Phantom Illusion): Despite the name, Yuurei Gensou has nothing to do with illusions. It creates a round pulsating seal in front of the user's palm, which then sends out a paralyzing ring of energy. If it hits and traps an enemy, the user can attack the circle, causing that damage to be transferred to the trapped opponent.
Boundary Field of Isolation: A combination of sealing and barrier techniques, this can store an object into a pocket dimension. A seal will appear on whatever object or body part it is sealed in, the size depending on the power and size of the object itself. Sealing a Sacred inside someones arm, for example, would turn the whole arm into the sealing point. The seal can be revoked only by the user, and it is not possible to seal the powers of someone else forever, unless the own power far exceeds the power of the sealed object. A variation of this can only be used by Shimura, and this variation can even seal people, Guardian Beasts or Sacreds until she wishes them released, making the most dire and feared punishment in Sugiura Law not death, but eternal sealing.
Sacred Unleashed
Joushou: The first form of release breaks away the chain around Susano'os hilt. It increases Takuris control over the storm by a lot - a single flick of her wrist or sword now has the power of a storm strong enough to bend over an ages old tree to near-breaking point, and her Wind Slicer becomes strong enough to cut through steel. Other than that, as long as this state is active, the sky above the fighting area will slowly be covered in a thick layer of clouds, until it'll finally start to rain. This rain will increase in strength over time, until it is a full-out drenching one. There is no wind involved yet, though. This form also grants Takuri a number of special attacks designed for raw power.
Spinning Stab - Sword of Piercing: Takuri focuses wind around her blade and stabs it forward, either in close-combat or at range, which will release a spinning, cutting whirlwind raging towards the enemy. The 'tip' of this whirlwind is as sharp and fast as a high-energy drill, and the following rest of it is a widening whirlwind. The full width on the end of the whirlwind is about half the size of Takuris body.
Reversal Dash - Waters of Illusion: Not an illusion as much as an optical trick, only useable if there is already a thick rain falling. Takuri dashes at the enemy with a glowing blue sword, charged with storm energy - but this Takuri is a fake, as she is actually dashing at the enemy from behind, and what the enemy sees is merely a reflection on the water controlled by Takuri. The closer the fake Takuri gets, the easier it is to spot the trickery. The slash itself has the force of a crashing tidal wave.
First Lightning: Takuri influences the rain clouds by shooting lightning bolts into them, enhancing their strength and turning the rain into a full fledged storm without having to release her Sacred further. In higher states, doing this intensifies the storms further and further.
Joutun Fist: Takuri creates a gigantic, almost invisible fist out of wind above her blade and sends it flying with a slash, acting as a blunt and strong projectile almost as strong as her physical power.
Yggdrasiel Dew: Influencing the waters of the rain, she can absorb part of its elemental strength. The waters have a healing effect on her through this, lessening bleeding effects and counteracting most poisons over time.
Zenou: In Zenou, Takuris red markings start to constantly glow. Also, her armor can only be used at half strength at best now, since most of her Reiatsu is needed to support the offense. The weather on the battlefield now gains high-speed winds in addition to even stronger rain, obstructing vision and hearing to everyone but those immune to it or those on Takuris side. Her winds pick up intense velocity, able to snap a tree in two with a thrown storm gale. She can literally blow someone away with this, but even more, her physical power increases. To make an example: Before Zenou, a single slash might cause a slight whirling wind. Now, a single swipe of her blade is able to send a storm forward just like her storm-controlling left hand. Her former special attacks all become stronger in Zenou.
Lions Roar - Apptly titled, this move works by Takuri shooting out a big amount of her energy into the clouds the commands, thus this move is not useable in areas too small to host her weather-changes. Afterwards, her next sword slash is accompanied by an extremely loud thunder able to crush concrete at the current target, and a lightning bolt of unforseen power collides with her sword, giving her a 'roaring' and incredibly powerful swordslash.
Howling Cross: Takuri executes two quick swipes with her blade, shooting forward a cross-shaped sharp and nearly invisible wind. While rather weak on its own, the move is also extremely fast and can be used in rapid succession to keep an enemy moving or constantly taking damage.
Niffelheim Descent: Can only be executed from above - Takuri crashes down with her weapons in an attempt to stab the enemy from above, while being accompanied by a surging wind. This wind pulls in enemies to be right under her and be unable to escape from her swords. The impact has enough power to leave a crater behind.
Kyuu Kyou: Takuri loses her black armor in this form, as all of her energy is rerouted into pure offensive might. All of her techniques get, when comparing Zenou to it, a tripling effect in power normally (more below). The storm lessens now, trapping the combatants in the 'eye of the storm', as Takuri no longer hides her true form or strength, and gets ready to fight at full power. The wind around her increase in speed further, going so far that they can ignite into flames together with the electric energy her Kyuu Kyou generates - a fact that expands her elemental control to super-heated plasma. Her appearance changes as well, giving her a 'cleaner' look and making her appear more like a cat rather than a wolf. She regains the 'trait' of her mother and older sister of white hair and red eyes.
Storm Fire: Takuri is now able to fully control plasma created by highly accelerated energy, granting her energy that she can use the same way she could formerly use wind. This includes ALL of her former techniques, just that they now burn AND cut at the same time.
Plasma Coat: For half a post, Takuri shrouds herself in plasma and defends against incoming damage, reducing it greatly. Ironicially, wind-based powers can break her shield easily. 1 Post cooldown.
Calamity Surge: Takuri charges both of her weapons with great amounts of her control energy, before executing a mad dash at the target combined with wild, untargeted slashes. These encase a large area in cutting winds and destructive crushing force. Not compatible with her plasma.
Mind Over Matter: Takuri is able to fight while fully ignoring injury until it reaches the point where her body is hampered, effectively rendering her immune to pain. Smaller injuries are also unable to keep her body back, only major to mortal injury slows her down.
Storm of Ages: Takuri summons forth the lightning of the storm surrounding the fight, sending lightning bolts and hurricane winds against the enemy. Thanks to the buildup that the storm needs to have, 5 posts of fighting must've happened before (no matter Takuri's form), and it has a 3 post cooldown.
Strength of a World: This form is normally three times more powerful than Zenou - but even that is not the full extend of Takuri's possible power. It is simply a limiter that keeps her high strength from hurting the own body. She can potentially up that limit freely, although there are certain drawbacks to this: Up to 10 times Zenou power, she is able to enhance herself without directly damaging herself, but she will tire out a slight bit faster. For 10 to 30 times stronger, her muscles take great strain over time, rendering her unable to fight quicker. The utmost potential is reached at 50 times of her Zenou power - her strength is easily great enough to smash almost anything into dust, but that immense usage of her power will tire her out, hurt her body, and potentially lead to her being rendered unable to fight for some time. The possible maximum is 100 times Zenou - however, this is a theoretical power-level only, as using it would clearly put her own life at risk and shred her own body into pieces through her own power.
Götterdämmerung - Ragnarök: Takuri's ultimate move. She becomes one with the storm fully now, and through it, is able to actually use her 100 times power for a single attack by 'projecting' it into the outside - her Sacred grows in size massively, without losing speed - instead, it gains more speed! Upon execution, Takuri unleashes the immense power in a single swipe - a swipe so powerful that it bends reality under it's weight, bursting the rules of possibility, in a storm fit to destroy a god. Wind resistances are rendered almost completely useless to it, so the formerly one way to shut down Takuri has no power to stop the Ragnarök from hitting the enemy. The one time it was used, it was at half power, and still drove a wide canyon into the landscape - the full power of Ragnarök could easily whipe out an entire region or maybe even smaller planet and reduce it to dust. Needless to say, such power comes at a price - Takuri loses her Sacred's abilities for up to a week (of character-time), has almost no energy left inside of her, and won't be able to fight properly for some time.
Caliburn Unleashed: Caliburn functions like a Sacred in that it has three stages of release. When drawn, it has to take on the same form as Takuri herself has in general right at that moment.
First Seal:
Channel: An ability that Caliburn retains in all forms - it can channel powers normally unique to the Sacred of the Sugiura and use it, effectively doubling the possiblities of the user.
Chosen Will: Then one with Caliburn is a chosen one of the Holy Swords - their abilities in swordfighting are supernaturally heightened, even if they are normally not a good swordfighter. Those already masterful with blades become faster and stronger through this.
Evil's Bane: Those with wicked hearts take extra damage from Caliburn. This is most notable through a blinding light that flashes up whenever the sword cuts through evil.
Embrace of Light: Wielding Caliburn makes it so that the wielder can't be taken over by forces of evil, be they demons or inner selves.
Second Seal:
King's Will: The willpower of the wielder is increased many times over, effectively rendering them resistant to powers that influence the mind of the target easily. Also, they can see the strings of 'fate' now, so any powers that normally influence the world in 'control' ways can be cut apart with the swords of the wielder.
Honorguard: Caliburn now looks out to protect the life of the wielder, moving on its own to deflect normally fatal blows if it has to.
Demon's Bane: The Evil's Bane effect grows stronger - Alters, Arrancar, Hollow, Demons and Vizards with their masks on all take one third more damage than a normal person would. The blade is also bathed in a constant, golden light.
Blessing of Purity: By hitting someone in a struggle with a darker, own self or posessing force with the hilt of Caliburn, a massive burst of helping light pushes back the dark, evil side.
Third Seal:
New Dawn: The only ability of Caliburn in this stage. By calling out the name of the sword, it is now able to properly seal or destroy evil influences in people by cutting them - without hurting the host/original person. The sword is constantly shining as a golden piece of light, and virtually indestructible. Calling out the name while attacking releases a cleansing, searing wave of energy that can free someone even from the darkest of influences. This power comes at a price - the seal that Caliburn placed on inner darkness vanishes for the time being, allowing free reign to whatever shadows lurk within...
Takuri Alter
Overview: Takuri has another side to her. It was created when she fought off her natural instincts and seperated most of her constant negative thoughts and feelings from her mind, a split personality. This side is called Takuri Alter, and it is the personality of a very sadistic woman. But not only that, she seems to have absolutely no positives about her character at all - she enjoys all kinds of sufferings in the worlds, and doesn't mind experiencing it herself. Unlike the real Takuri, Alter can be very seductive and outgoing. Alter Takuris abilities with the sword are gone - she uses it only for brute slashes, if at all. However, she is extremely adapt at using the water whip of Joushou, Zenou and Kyuu Kyou, both of them. Her fighting style loses some of it's strength in exchange for dealing more pain. She's also rather playful with her twisted nature, often trying to trap people in a mixture of desire and fear from her, to bathe them in absolute terror. Alter Takuri knows no shame, and no mercy. She'll hunt down everyone she finds 'interesting' and 'play' with them until she can taint them with darkness forever.

Character Background:
~The Second Child~
Born as the second daughter of the first Sugiura, the evolved Shinigami named Shimura, she wasn't too much like her mother as far as appearance was going - having fur on both her arms and legs, in addition to a tail and wolf ears. Another strange thing, though, were the red markings all over her body - Shimura noticed that those were another path of 'evolution' her daughter had, since those marks were basicially the junctions of Reiatsu in Takuris body made visible. This trait would later be rarely seen in other 'Knight-type' Sugiura. As she and her sister grew up, both were very close. When training, Takuri often held herself back, letting Misaiko win every single spar in their entire life - when she was actually winning against everyone else. Her brutal style always seemed to soften up around her sister, and the protective urge she had for her older sister often resulted into people viewing her as the older sibling. Still, Takuri was fine with being the 'little sister' in many regards. When the question for a ruler of the new race came up, Takuri would usually be out of question since she was not the oldest one - however, unknown to anyone but herself and her mother, Shimura, she was aksed to be the Queen once. The refusal came so quick that Shimura didn't even speak the entire proposal. Takuri felt that being a ruler would put those under her in dire danger at some point, and she should be proven right only a short time after this talk. It was only shortly after meeting Otoya. Instantly disliking him, the one who was 'taking away' her sister at first, she soon grew to accept and even befriend the kind man with his strange but relaxing humor. Disaster struck at the still weak Sugiura kingdom around this time - but not in the dead of night, not in secrecy, but in open daylight. Training with her sister and their still un-named and spiritless Sacreds, Takuri suddenly felt a murderous intent rushing towards them. Without thinking, she pushed her sister out of harms way - and was hit by a black and white wind, which entered both her body and soul. The red markings on Takuris body lighted up like never before on that day. Shining bright red, Takuri fell down to the ground.
After waking up again, her head felt as heavy as a rock. Her inner world had been turned upside down, around, mirrored, got erupted and reconstructed all at the same time, but the worst part was: the spirit that invaded her. Unlike the spirit of her mother Shimura, Susano'o wasn't a kind spirit. In fact, he was a warrior of the storms, a berserking man without much restraint, and even staying concious took quite a bit out of her. However, this was not what ruined Takuri's early life. It was the darkness that came with having a Sacred, and having her highest form nlocked so early - as someone with insanely strong 'Sugiura blood', her other side, the 'Alter', manifested. But it was unlike any other Alter ever seen before, as during the beginning, it was not existant as a seperate being.
~Wrong Self~ During this time, Takuri grew very restless. She was too strong for her own good, and confused about who she was - which parts of her personality were the real Takuri, and which parts were her 'Alter'. The truth was actually very simple - there was no difference. Takuri was the first, and so far only, time where a Sugiura and their Alter had no distinction between them, making both of them the same person with a different appearance, stuck in the same body. Sadly, this caused nothing good. During one of her strongest attacks of hatred for everything during a spar with Misaiko, Takuri went out of control - using her insane physical strength without restraint for the first time against her, the wolf Suigura nearly killed her older sister, an act that drove high amounts of terror right into her very core. Before Shimura could even do anything about it, Takuri had vanished - fleeing. From everything.
~A Promise Unforgotten~ In this seclusion the girl forced herself into, still young, she began to resent parts of her own self - but only one part of her did. So, the seperation began. Which one was the true Takuri at first, nobody knows. In fact, it is still questionable wether the woman known as 'Takuri' is a normal Sugiura, or an Alter that has full control - but either way, the two personalities grew apart. One embraced her savage nature slowly, the other sealed away being savage, but still stayed an unpleasant and grumpy woman. During this time, the actual kingdom of the Sugiura slowly surfaced. But with the eastern Sugiura, so did another tribe of them - the western Sugiura, under the lead of their own king - Gilgamesh, the collector of countless treasures. Not that Takuri paid him any mind - when he wrestled his first god, she had already slain a couple of them. There was literally nothing she cared about anymore besides keeping her darker self in check, chaining her down deep inside of their inner world and surrounding herself with an icy, aggressive persona to make sure that a tragedy like the one that nearly killed Misaiko would never happen again - for Takuri could never forgive herself for hurting her dear sister like that.
This all changed the day when they actually met, though. Gilgamesh was out hunting for treasures in the forgotten ruins of the old empire, when he by chance stumbled onto the one where Takuri had taken up a short-lived residence.
"Who are you?" "None of your buisness. Now get lost."
It was a short lived meeting - thanks to Takuri escaping. As Gilgamesh had not anticipated meeting one of Shimura's daughters here, he also had no idea of who she was - but never forgot this first meeting. Just like she herself never forgot seeing the golden hair and bright, gentle red eyes. Eyes full of hope and strength. Eyes... that promised the world to everyone willing to follow this man. It annoyed the former Sugiura princess greatly... Their next meeting only followed many months after that. In a forest, in brightest daylight, Gilgamesh came upon Takuri cleaning her body in one of the many, ice-cold springs there. Demanding answers, it came to a fight between the two - but even without any protective armor or even clothing, Takuri was able to wrestle down the King of Heroes after many hours of fighting.
"You wanted to know my name, right? Takuri. Daughter of Shimura. Now stop following me."
What Takuri did not realize yet in her irritated mind, was that her short moment of giving in to the King of Heroes by telling him her name, that she had given him the biggest possible hint on how to chase after her easier. After returning to his own kingdom, he contacted Shimura - and learned of the whole story. The wild daughter of the True Ancestor at this point had no idea why the golden king kept searching for her - a bewildering mixture of emotions and irritations... Their next meeting did not turn violent directly, at least.
"I know how to help you. Let me be a king for you." "Help me? Don't make me laugh. You're not a king."
But in the end - they fought each other again. And again, and again - each time they met, Gilgamesh tried to get Takuri to trust into him. But each and every time, Takuri pushed him back, attacked him, trying to kill him even a few times when her irritation spiked. And during all that time, she felt her Alter nagging around, asking her to unleash the Sacred they had earned and cut down Gilgamesh. But still, her true mind prevailed... Until one day, Takuri was unusually weak - and lost to Gilgamesh for the first time, instead of beating him to a draw or even defeat. But even so, he did not truly aim to injure her.
"I see who you are. Be my queen, I beg you." "Your... queen? Bah. Don't make me laugh... I'm just a monster." "Then I'll just make sure you're not a monster anymore soon." "A promise, then? Fine."
~Holy Blade~
After losing to Gilgamesh that one time, she finally agreed to at least take a look at his 'help'. Leading her deep into a ruined temple of the Guardian Beasts, they entered a final hall - with a gigantic rock in which a single, beautiful sword was stuck. It was one of the Holy Swords - an amazing weapon, able to banish darkness and seal it forever. It's name was... Caliburn, the sword that choses the King. Drawing it out of the stone without any difficulty, Gilgamesh admitted towards Takuri that he had never been able to lift this sword, for he was not a Holy Sword Wielder. Takuri's ability to draw it, though, made it clear - she was no monster, but merely a divine warrior of unbeatable will and limitless potential. And for the first time in an eternity... she smiled. For with Caliburn in her hands, the darkness of Alter Takuri was nothing more than a slight whisper in her head, as opposed to a raging storm. And Gilgamesh even recieved a slight kiss on the cheek for his actions.
"I'll only say this once, okay? Thank you, Gilgamesh. You really are... the true King of Heroes."
After recieving this sword, Takuri and Gilgamesh went seperate ways for some time again, as the daughter of Shimura devoted her time into mastering the power of Caliburn and her Sacred at the same time, expanding her immense skill with one sword to immense skill with dual blades, even of different origin, mastering a broadsword and katana mixture style unique to herself. But she did not forget her promise to the king of heroes... And for once, she did not mind the thought of being close to someone again. For the first time in centuries, she felt like someone could understand her... It was a wonderful feeling.
It was also during this time that Takuri got a present from the Golden King - a sheath for her sword, Avalon. An eternal barrier and shell for her - one that would keep her young even after time itself ended, and could cure her body from the most cruel of injuries. A weapon and a scabbard fit for a queen - it was not hard to see what Gilgamesh was implying with this gift. And for once, Takuri wasn't angry at him.
~Return to Zero~
Shortly after recieving Avalon, though, bad news reached Takuri's ears. Her sister, Misaiko, had recieved her own Sacred - and the power of the black side of her soul, Tenkou, was too large to surpress with the sword enhancing it. Rushing to the rescue, because she knew of the pain of not being able to control oneself, she passed by the king of the Sugiura and the princes, trying to save as many people as possible - as they were unable to stop Tenkou.
The reunion of the sisters could not have been worse. Clad in black armor, and wielding Caliburn, Takuri stood in the way of the murderous Alter of her beloved sister. Their battle was brutal and scarred the land - their slashes cut apart mountains and carved out new valleys that should later become riverbeds. The storm circling overhead should continue for weeks even after the blades had stopped clashing, a downpour of water and lightning like none other in the history of the Guardian Beast Dimenison. In the end, Takuri was left without a choice if she wanted to save the soul of her sister.
And just then, for a short moment, the brightest light of them all shone through the storm. A beautiful figure, clad in white and red, with a sword made out of light, struck down the darkness - and Tenkou was sealed away for the time being. And with that fight... Takuri came back to her people, to serve as the first knight of Misaiko - and as the fiancee to Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes.
~Anatomy of the Soul~
As the kingdom was still recovering from their latest tragedy, Takuri and Gilgamesh unearthed another legend. It was a stone tablet, telling a story in old Guardian Beast script... A legend of the perfect, final artifact crafted by the beasts before their empire fell apart. The Holy Grail - a wishmaker, one that could propell the Sugiura back out of rebuilding and right into a golden age of proseperity. Needless to say, many groups of Sugiura formed, all searching for the Holy Grail.
Something seemed off for Takuri, though. Each night, she was now pleagued by nightmares, and began even pushing her fiancee from her, saying that any kind of marriage would have to wait until after this 'Holy Grail War' was over. Her premonitions should soon prove to be correct, after all. It always seemed strange - how could a wishmaker mark the end of an empire, instead of the true start of it? A perfect artifact should bring forth a perfect empire. There was no question about it. Takuri constantly became the voice of warning - to not casually open the door to something nobody could understand or control. In her opinion, it would be just as good to destroy an artifact like that - so that not the wrong people could use it. And without pause, the evil voice in her head grew louder and louder...
So then came the day, when they found the Holy Grail. But instead of a miracle, what they found in the deepest south of the Guardian Beast Dimension... Was hell. The Holy Grail was not a simple wishmaker. Instead, it was a prison - a perfect seal for the ultimate evil. In the old tongue, he was called Cubia - but for the Sugiura, his name was Angra Mainyu, or evil spirit. The essence of raw evil is the easiest way to describe it - without solid form, it is a living curse that resembles black liquid that can endlessly spawn out of the holy grail. And that was what they had to fight. But there was more - Takuri was amongst those that found it first. And looking into it, she saw her own darkness staring back - and releaized the terrible truth. The nightmares, the bad feelings, they had not been because of this 'thing'. Caliburn, Ea, Excalibur - all the Holy Swords and miracle weapons of the Sugiura would be able to drive it back.
The true source of her nightmares was Caliburn trying to warn her. When she had used it to seal Tenkou, the definite drawback of the holy seals came into play - the seal upon her own dark half had weakened further and further, and now, nothing would stop Alter Takuri from breaking forth...
Gilgamesh arrived moments after the realization. Concerned about his love, he rushed to Takuri's side to fight against Angra Mainyu.
The last thing this true Gilgamesh saw was the evil, twisted and laughing face of Alter Takuri, as he fell into the evil energy of the Holy Grail. After that, Alter Takuri vanished from the scene.
Enduring many losses, the Sugiura managed to seal the Holy Grail again, hiding it away and using three legendary Sacreds to make a seal upon it. Takuri awoke, drained and powerless, in her room in the castle - nobody was able to tell her how her unconcious body ended up back in the main town, but the truth is simple - she fought Alter Takuri until they both passed out from exhaustion and Caliburn reactivated, sealing her Alter again. And nobody knew what became of Gilgamesh, either - but Takuri feared the worst. Even if he had survived the darkness of the grail - who could escape something like that completely?
The message of what became of him struck down like a lightning bolt one day - when King Otoya went missing and was declared dead. Killed by his friend, a man he had called brother... by the new, changed, evil Gilgamesh.
These events changed Takuri forever. She became even more stoic than before - and never even once did she smile in all of the following millenia. The new king was chosen, yet she did not voice opposition to him, but also never approved of him. She followed the orders of Misaiko, but kept her feelings all locked away - knowing that if she killed her feelings, her Alter would die as well. That only seemed like the right thing to do, after her other self had forever destroyed the one man that saved Takuri from assured death beforehand. During this time, Caliburn disappeared again over night, and Avalon had been lost during the Grail War. The stoic nature of the black knight kept her Alter at bay even without it, though.
~Foreboding Winds~
After that event, the world had changed for good. Instead of returning into seclusion to hide away once more, Takuri became the leader of the Knights of the Round, a new order established by her - where all knights are equal, and everyone with the desire to protect is welcomed, regardless of their past and family. They operate from the shadows and in bright light, doing what other members of the royal family cannot do... But as destiny continues to move, and Takuri is fated to once more meet Gilgamesh, it is only a matter of time until their final confrontation. The only question is... who will be by her side during that climax?
